Peyton's Holy Grail Kush - Flux - Hempy - Mars II 400

Yeah, i got the same filter as you wildjim, from lowballer. Mine is pointless since I'm in garage in middle of nowhere and exhaust right into garage. Now I just gotta vent garage somehow so it ain't so damn hot

Hey Jim. Filters aren't cheap its the carbon inside them some companies use that's cheap. U can recharge your carbon by going on eBay or amazon and buying activated aquarium carbon. Also the carbon needs to be replaced every 3-4 months.
Just Don't buy bamboo carbon. Its crap.
I was also told coffee beans work better then carbon and for longer. I Wanna actually try that soon lol

I know about the carbon from being into fish keeping so long. Same applies, cheap carbon crap filtration of water or air.

Cheers man! Keep us updated on the oil, and its effectiveness for seizures.

First set of stasis clones are living. Been one month since put in fridge. Tomorrow or maybe later tonight I'll try rooting 1 or 2. And I'll get some pics of the process.
Not that I'm special how I do it. I just couldn't grasp certain things unless seen for myself. So this might help others.

I was waiting to hear from you how the stasis clones did. I will do that with my C99 when I get them going, especially if these pc clones don't make it. Maybe that'll be my mother search since C99 is one of those that I've heard nothing but good things about

No, it just says the weight on the side. 19 pounds. I'll take a pic tonight of it if you want. It's surprisingly huge for 20 bucks. About 4 feet tall and 2 feet in diameter. Looks like I could fill 5 five gallon buckets and still have a little leftover

I am too excited for the dry stuff. What is your favorite way of drying. I have mine on a 1" screen. And the popcorn is on a platter. The blue tug top is no longer there. I just laid them out to see.
I haven't tried the microwave yet. I've been too busy to sit down. Going to shower and then I'll do it.

I took the bag of perlite out of the pot to look at. Man, those roots are hair fine and one root ball the size of the pot. Just like my tomatoes except I protect the hole with 2 elbows and a small straight piece between them.
Most people would call it root bound, but now I know why she drank so much. The reservoir was always empty. Want to grow big autos, you have to have a big bucket. Pay the $5 to Lowes or Homedepot for the paint strainers, net bags. Sorry I didn't take any pictures.

Hey PM, You got some perlite? Where did you find it? Twenty pounds is about right. Is it coarse?

That's right I fill 7 3.5 gallon buckets and I have about 3 or 4 buckets worth left. I get two bags every year since I started hydro outside.

Does it have a brand name?

WJ

Dont worry about the pics, I didn't take any during harvest cause I didn't realize how time consuming it was. Looking back them are some big fat colas in there. My sour sky was the same way in 3 gallon bucket. I was gonna reuse perlite from first grow but roots held on to all of it.

Surprisingly, it was at hydro store. They had tiny bags for 9 bucks a piece, and a 19 pound bag for 20 bucks. I'll check the brand in a little bit, but I know the bag says perlite & vermiculite on the front, but it's only perlite in the bag. Not coarse, all small stuff. I will be picking up another 2 bags real soon at that price.

Yea man, I tried to clean the first year. Dried it outside under cover for all winter. Then put the bags in the drier on air just to break them up. Pain in the a$$. More work that it was worth. Just bought two more bags.

I got an easy way to clean hydroton and perlite.
Requires a cement mixer and window screen. Havwent tried it with perlite, but I've rinsed aquarium gravel the same consistancy with this method.

Expensive machines. U can also rent them. Worth it if u have a lot of shit to rinse. I had to rinse 25x 40kg bags of cilica sand for my ponds. Worked great.

I boiled some of it to clean it a little when I did, but there was a lot of stem pieces left so I just started over. It was only a few gallons worth, so renting a machine wouldn't work. But if I get a real operation going, I'd rent it. Once they legalize it here I will. I'll be the medicine man running this town if that day ever comes. Ol' lady said she'd quit to become full time grower with me when that day comes, so I'm excited to either see legalization or move to Colorado or Seattle

Great deal. I'm glad you found it. I forgot to call the place back. Mine costs $18 from the farmers coop. When I started buying it, the coop didn't even know they had it or what it was. Took a bunch of tomatoes to them the first year. My tomatoes are pound and over. Wife fixed me a BLT for breakfast. Man it was good. I love tomatoes. I never could get them to produce tomatoes during winter in the basement. I used 250 actual watt CFLs. I'm going to get another Mars II 700 before I take them in. Might get two.

Try to get coarse. If they don't have it ask the guy to order coarse next time. Small really packs into a hard rock. I think the roots like more and larger air spaces. That is tomatoes, so we'll see what comes from the small and cannabis.

Isn't Trudeau the guy on those packs of zigzag wrappers? I know those got taken off market, but can you get a hold of those? I'd like some piece of Canadian history. Hope it goes well for you guys at election time. Can't get any worse than it is for us. If I could sneak into Canada I'd be your neighbor!
