Peyton's Holy Grail Kush - Flux - Hempy - Mars II 400

I held it for a while and had the lead, but he jumped about 4 votes ahead yesterday. I'll get it next time hopefully. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a huge surge of votes today, but I'm not that confident. And again, thanks for the votes guys. It really means a lot to me and we almost pulled it off!
 
I think u can enter same plant any month. No rule against it.

Can't hurt at least. I'm gonna enter my scrog some month. Just make sure I don't enter same month as you. Lol

My damn popcorn scrog. Not sure wtf went wrong. There's probably 200 budsites, maybe its just spread so thin because of my theory of the trade off. 1 big bud vs tons of small buds. If there is 2 ounces on it, it will surprise the fuck out of me lol guess my whole 3 plant harvest might get 150g dry. A big might.
Back to the drawing board....
 
With that many budsites you'd have to pull more than that. I'll bet they're small but super dense nugs. Just let me know when you will enter, and I'll hold off. I won't enter sour sky again, but HGK and SB should be ready around late September early October. So it'll be awhile til I pop up again in contests lol. Both my clones died. No big loss, I'll just have to have a better environment and take my time

Go look at nug of the month results. Lovebud68s pot looked damn good. Not a single vote. If I had all them weed in front of me to smoke. His would have been up there on the list to try first. From an unbiast opinion.

I'm gonna enter sometime just so I'm not one of them conspiracy guys saying I'll never win, blah blah. Don't win of ya don't try, but I've told off enough people to probably only get 5-8 votes. I'm far from mr popular. Hahahahah

As for the talk of the trade off with bud size versus number. It really is so! My old style of vertical LST, has shown this. The first time and my first POTM was given 6 working nodes before being topped. This led to probably the perfect ratio of budsites and came in at over 15oz. Then I got cocky and pushed the style giving my next girl 2 extra nodes before topping. This made her really busy and a silly amount of smaller buds! She came in at just over 10oz. (She did win POTY though lol)
Anyway thats part of the reason I was led to develop the fluxing design. A style that lets you pic the number of budsites and give them all even space light and air circulation.
My current grow shows this again as I have 4 fluxes going and 2 of my older style. The older style girls are going to be crazy busy but smallish buds versus the fluxes that will all put out big numbers! :)
 
I think you'd get more votes than that for sure. You grow some damn fine plants, and if people are petty enough to vote another plant cause they don't like you, then they're idiots anyways. Hell, I figured I'd get half of Colorados votes just with the name lol. But it's all good. You got my vote for sure when you enter.

Can't wait to see what you enter next. Your plants are always amazing. If I could get a quarter of what you pull in weight I'd consider it a miracle. You keep that bar set pretty damn high

I feel ya on the ocd part. I was the same way. But since my plants got moved to detached garage, I get no time with them anymore. And my lights are on at night now, so even more limited time. I need a house with a basement damnit!
 
Checked on my plants during their 1 hour of light (glr) and they're looking good. Messed with HGK to try and get nodes to grow evenly, and SB damaged node is catching up quick. I'll see about snapping some more pics tonight. Getting excited at the thought of flowering. Still a month away unfortunately
