Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground

Hey guys,

Back for more trouble. So here we go round two, noobtown 2000 - and need some advice.....I noticed that my timer was slightly off on the 12/12 schedule were as the lights were coming on 15 too late so it was 11HR45MIN of light and 12HR15MIN of dark. As I noticed this yesterday i flipped the lights on 10 min early. Well I got up this morning...extra late mind you and I forgot to turn the lights back to auto and they were running all night!! Bad news or what? That's all it takes for hermies? They were running an extra 8+ hours...so like 20+ hours!!!! Give me the news straight, any advice would be great...i shut off the lights and not sure how to proceed. Thanks in advanced.

One day of fucked up lights won't hurt them. Also being off by 15 mins for 12h is no problem either. Could have saved yourself some stress by not over thinking it, and just leaving things the fuck alone lol
Just go back to normal light schedule. Stop stressing. Takes more then that to Hermie a plant. If you keep stressing and fucking with lights it will. When u noticed the fuck up, you should have just carried on normally with next light cycle.

Thanks for the advice and good to hear. So they are currently set to their normal schedule but are only going to get a few hours of darkness this evening and that's okay?.....just get it back to 12/12 and quit shooting myself in the foot?

Had to post here cause I know a lot of you smartie pants don't have threads you maintain....I'm finding I come to this thread much more than my own journal...I posted this issue here first! Thanks for the quick response and owe you and Peyton some major reps my friend.

Your fine man. Just go back to 12/12. Yea I don't do journals. And I also don't read other threads too often. If far from an expert, but I enjoy helping others.
 
quick question..
how bad will it affect my plants that the lights havent went off in two days.. i went into my room 15 mins early the other day and switched my timer to manual.. im hardly in the rv when they are lights off but today i was cleaning and getting ready for my tent and i could see a pinhole light leak that let me know they had been up partying for two days with no rest .. (the growth is crazy big) makes me wonder about 24 hr veg cycles .

should i just swap my timer back and let the normal light cycle start back in the morning ?

Is it in flower? If in veg, it won't do them no harm.

naw peyton this is my veg room . that's great to know .i wont be entering my flower tent early at all when its running ..

i was taken back by how much they had grown in two days...

are there any disadvantages to the 24\0 schedule that u see first hand ? i see people debate this subject allot ..
 
What up guys, so one of plants main cola was definitely ready for harvest so I just chopped her off while I let the other 3-4 colas mature. Shes been drying for more than one full day so far. Ready for some more shrinkage. She looks like she will be dank tho. What u guys think?

Its an OG of somesort not exactly sure because it was from bag seed. I flowered for 52 days, the other colas not ready just yet. the other two plants I have seem to be the same strain Both look the same and are flowering at the same rate, maybe they will go to 70-80 days. Whats a trip is that this plant is the one that had issues. Maybe I could have yielded more. Nonetheless im thinking I will get a quad atleast from this plant Maybe more. Thanks to you pointing out the lack of lights, I just ended up adding 3 of my old 6500k cfl and it made a huge difference. Couple more days we should everything pulled.
 
Watered my ladies tonight, but with less water than usual. The HGK has now got a slight fuel smell and a real sweet pungent smell on top of that. Smells really really good now. Clone is still booming along. SB is still bushing up to the point where in gonna have to trim her down again. SB better be great cause she's taking a lot of time and work lately. Threw another HGK clone in there to get it going just so I can get it to make pollen.

PC is about 20 inches across at her longest points, and 16 inches is smallest span. Can't wait to flower her. Was trying to find space in flower room but that ain't happening. I don't think I can flower HGK, SB, clone and pc and have them all get good light. So she'll just have to keep waiting another month or so. I hope fluxy takes off cause at her current rate I don't think she'll finish in a month
