Peyton & Pals Perpetual Playground

Your humidity in flower is 70rh? That can cause some big issues bro late in flower, budrot mainly. Was the soursky in that high humidity?
It will slow bud growth and formation as well. I ran 60% rh for my first few crops and they came out airy and loose. High heat + high humidity is disaster waiting to happen.

Veg its fine, because the air can move between the nodes and leaves. When late in flower air can't get in or out of the buds easily.
Just a friendly tip.

Nice smoke report kola. Can't wait to see your PC and SB plants. My humidity stays in the 60's and 70's, but as long as theirs good circulation you should be okay, but the dehumidifier is a big help.

Hey stumped, it's it considered cheating to use a flowering clone? I know they're considered monster cropping, but don't know if that's against the rules

Can use whatever clone u want. End result is always going to be a root bound plant. Bigger the clone quicker its gonna get bound. So a monster crop clone would probably work against you. But like I said u can have as many entries as u want. But I think the smaller the clone the better.

I say when I make the thread I'll put some ground rules. Then get everyones input, we can decide as a group what's allowed and what isn't. And I'd like to do it over and over. Spare time shit.

Sounds good to me stumped. And I'll see about something to get my humidity down. Sour sky humidity was usually around 30 to 40 percent. Definitely gotta get it straightened out before it messes up my plants

Wr clones are taking off in the flower room. So excited to flower a new strain. Been working with the pk for over a year now.
Finally got to smoke some of the wr bud. Pretty damn good, better then the pk that's for sure. And the guy I got them from flowers under 400w HPS. Says he pulls close to a pound a crop. When he flowered my pk 2 times he only got 300g on his best run.
So I should see a yield increase for sure.

That's awesome. Gonna see some great yields coming from you. I'm gonna have to try harder just to keep up. When clones root, you take the dome off right? I have three that are rooted for sure, 2 HGK and 1 PC.

Cool. I'll be checking on them in a couple hours. Weather cooled off here and humidity was only 50 percent in grow room today, so that's a plus. Still gotta find a cheap/free way to lower humidity in there in case weather warms up again

Missed the fact u got 3 clones rooted lol.

Nice bro! Getting the hang of cloning. U should keep track of date cut and date seen roots. So you can gauge the time for your cloning method. Helps later on.

I'll start doing that. I usually check back in here to see when I announced it. But I think it's about 10 days to root so far.

The humidity will only get as low as the air outside the room. Or wherever the intake is.
Can have 1000cfm exhaust. But if outside is 70% rh then room will be 70% rh. Need something to trap or condensate the moisture out. Heat drops humidity, but ya can't exactly do that.
Is your intake and exhaust coming and going outside? Or just into the garage?

They just exhaust and intake inside the garage. Can't do too much to the outside or it'll be a little obvious. Especially in flower. HGK is starting to smell a little like fuel and a little like fruit or gum. Smells nice. Usually when fall starts here, the humidity stays in the 20's, so I'll be good then

Ah so u just gotta tough it out for another month is all.

I'm getting close to harvest. 3 weeks left. Was in there just now checking with lights out. HPS is a lot harder to see when the plants have issues. Looking alright. That drought really fucked my harvest up. I'll be lucky to get a half pound :( was really hell bent for a pound this round. Fuck it going back to perpetual from here on out.

I'm sure you'll love perpetual with the new high yield strain. And you know we'll love the pics and weights. My 3 clones made it through the night without wilting. Was in the high 50's last night, so I'm guessing my plants had it in the mid 60's. Too bad I don't have any fun colored strains. I just hope the cool weather sticks around for rest of grow, cause my plants need to take off already.

I liked perpetual because I get to harvest every month. Might try to spread it even thinner. 5 plants every 2 weeks. I'll have room for 5 rows of 5. But first I wanna see how much I can yield with this strain in my fabric pots. So close yet so far away. Almost a week from 12/12 and I can see the difference already. The wr don't stretch like crazy like the pk does.
After the 12 WR I'm gonna have to use pk till the WR mom is big enough to clone from.

I'll still pick up some rockwool to try one of these days. Hopefully soon cause I'm probably have to buy more bloom and micro soon. The high heat in garage forces me to water everyday, but not the 5 gallon buckets. The two 3 gallon buckets rez are about empty each night I check on them. I'll have to learn the whole perpetual process from you so I can give it a go someday. 5 rows of 5 won't work for my light, but I'm sure 3-4 rows of 3 might work for me.
My PC that got its light defol, supercrop and topping is responding with a lot of growth from all the once tiny nodes. Now everything is blowing up, and good cause I want it completely ready for next month
