So tonight the temp outside dropped dramatically.
Thus my grow room has cooled off a lot!
I hope it doesn't become too cool.. maybe i won't even be using the LED ... Doh!
anyway here are some vitals!

There is some spotting on the PC on a couple leaves but I wondered if it was from water spilling... I need to watch it... On to another day!

So my big debate tonight is should I run the PC alone and ditch the other plant. I will wait til I can sex it for sure... but if it is better than the N1 then why bother with more N1's as there are two more flowering next to it.
Got some mighty wash and sticky bug tape stuff.
Probably wash them tomorrow morning while they are in dark cycle.
I got a new larger white board check out the vitals
Half the door.. had to cut it to size. Now I can put weekly stuff up there and write easier on it. Not so cramped.
The humidity is skyrocketing when it is lights out in the flower tent. So i set it up so the fan will run venting the tent when dark as well. That should solve it. I had everything shutting off in dark. i didn't know it would cause a humidity issue. Good thing I look at the stats!
I'll start there!
Things look great today. Smell is getting stronger. Better smell than last grow as the PC is strong smelling and in the biggest best condition.It has four strong big bud sites growing. Looks great .
Here are the veg pics...
the TW sprout is looking sad. wilted. I did the nute swap yesterday and it's 100 ppm higher than yesterday. (550) It is a little higher than I like for such a young little buck! If it doesn't show better looks tomorrow I will back it off some. It did so well at 450 that I didn't think it would matter but some strains 800 is max so I am pushing things along too fast I think.
The clones look the same as the day I took them. No signs of roots but also they havent even wilted or anything. Few more days!

Few more days on the LED but now I am wondering if it will make things too cold. I have been running the HPS at 75% now and it is manageable temps with it. I still haven't hit 100% .. well can't but in the dead of winter.. I may want to.
Oh .. Tonight I spent an hour with a grow buddy who is brewing up some 8 week tea/soil. former hydro guy who turned to soil for some fun and to stimulate his brain. He is making more soil than he needs.. offered me some to play with when it is ready. I'm debating it.. Maybe some moms in it maybe mix in some grows.. Not sure.. My set up I can't see why a couple pots of soil in the mix would be any different. Total different bug issue's but heck we'll see. just a consideration. Maybe down the road after a cycle or two. He swears the flavor is better with soils. Same strains.
Well that's about it for now.

Nice update FE. The bud factory seems to be in full swing. 
Everythings Looking good Far looking at your cloner reminds me I need to stop off at the hydro store and buy more pucks my old ones are starting to get loose need more ph up anyway I think I need to make a list

yah they have loosened a little over time.. but 32 for like 15 bucks i wasn't too worried.. got like 50 bucks in the whole set up and it is just as good as the $150 cloners out there
Everyone i asked which one to get was like .. Duh make your own... I do think I will make the mini me version of it though to add to the collection for the smaller clone sessions like the 4 now...FE

Todays Update!
Ok so this am at like 8 I washed the plants in flower with mighty wash. I took them out one by one and put them into a 5 gallon pail to inspect and spray flushed the roots then returned it back to res.
Here is right after...
Zipped it back up and let them sleep.
Other than a couple leaves, That PC looks beautiful! More about that later...
So here is the Stats!
You can see tomorrow is new nutes in flower tubs.
So here they are later in the day with the light on!
That PC is all i want to talk about. It had a root ball the size of my fist and white as can be.. The other three plants even the one in the same tub as the PC are a little brownish. Not bad looking just not white as the PC.
It is growing straight and growing just the way I wanted it to. It's the best strain i have gotten this far with yet. (ROFL best of 2). Anyway it also is starting to look female. I have seen nothing pointing to male and it is starting to get those little pistils with 2 hairs popping... 80% sure at this point but still not there.
So I was talking with a buddy and it was PC bud that it came from but how did it get the seeds. It wasn't a hermie... Sooo is it still gonna be all PC or crossed? Hard to say but it looks like I will like it
Until these two get going...
The TW took awhile but stood up some more and turned to the light some. It looks like she will be ok. Time to do nothing to them for a couple weeks. Nutes are fresh . Things have stabilized... Keep and eye on the nutes and should be good.
These two are still plugging along. The light is low enough that the SH is slowing down some but i need it lower for the TW and WW. This PC and SH are both looking great. Their time is coming Topping first but I want to wait til a lot of nodes so I can trim the bottoms.. Gonna try some serious Lollipop ping on those.. I'd like to do all that definitely in veg so soon. Just under three weeks til go time... Ready or not they need to go...
So over in the Genetics Department.
We have some positive stuff... Well still nothing so that is positive. They haven't wilted or anything. That is a definite plus. No roots popping yet just some discoloring but no rot or calcification like before... All plusses!
So that about does if for this episode of Far East Growing adventures... til the next time when ever that is.. same place same web site.

LED came in a day early I'll get some pictures up of the unboxing..
So the flowers got about 15-20 minutes of distanced cfl light... ;/
But when the lights come on later today it will be LED
Boy i didn't anticipate how bright the LED is.. Kinda hurts the eyes.. guess it is legit why people use the glasses.
Also I put the 440 cfm back on the charcoal filter.. Wifey was mentioning that it was starting to smell in the house again.. WTF it is only week 2 flower. Well I cant smell it now when I was in there after the swap. Maybe a second filter is in the future.
So that's it for now have a good day peops

So today early this morning which surprised me this showed up..
So I took the 15-20 minutes needed to set it up..
In tent time was only like 5 minutes but I did the other swapping around of stuff ahead of time. Then i let them rest for the day as usual.
I bought another timer. here is what I was thinking. Originally I was only venting the tent when the system was running. when it all shut down the humidity was spiking. So i plugged fan in 24-7 but was wondering if it was really necessary. So i am running it full when the tent is on and 30 min on then 1 hour off in dark cycle. Curious to see the results. If peak is still ow it will just save cost.. time will tell.
So here is todays Stats!
So things look good.. A little higher on the PPM for F1 than i wanted but i can pull some later. So letys have a looksie at the Flower tent first.
I now have purple plants.
Immediate results are the tent is popping right now. Not necessarily from the new light obviously. But it does look different than the blazing sun of the 600 hps. Temps seem to rise much slower and stabilized at like 75. I did notice it rise more but the door was open etc throwing off the cool air in and hot out thing. Putting the 440 fan on the charcoal eliminated the smell running it at 75%. Hopefully it can control it as it gets stronger with more speed.
So they got fresh nutes. Bud Candy, GH bloom and micro, Cal mag. I only had to PH one of the 3 mixtures as it was low on the bloom and micro to offset the strong first tub. I used less GH stuff but added other stuff so PPM ended up high any way. Let me say these tubs are still working well. I disconnect hose...push end into tub and pull lid off and swap to new fresh nute tub. Here is where OMU's design is better as i have to feed hose up through but i'm cool with it. Not too bad really. The overall swap is like 30 seconds. Like 5 minutes to mix it all up and fill the tub. Maybe ten. System working as planned so far. One thing that may become and issue. I am removing pots occasionally to keep roots untangled. Seems to work up to this point. But when the plant is 3 feet it may just be there for good and I'll have to drain and fill from in tent. For more than one reason.
If I recall last grow this is where things started to get exciting. Bugs and burns and major growth.. all together.. no actually that bad stuff was later on...
Tomorrow morning I will wash off the NPK with just water when they are in dark.
So let's go over to the nursery!!
These little ones here are growing up to be all stars!
and these Teens are ready to fly the coop in a few weeks!
They all look good. The TW can stand on its own again. Both it and the WW I want to get back on the stretch deal so light went up a little. These two are calling me to harvest.. Sorry I was dreaming. The PC and the SH needed it as well. I just need one more node on SH to top. I think 1 or 2 on the PC-B. It's behind a little. Things in the nursery are great!

I didn't check the roots but they probably need a few more days before they pop any way. As long as the plants keep looking good they should have it happen in time... I think I was expecting like 10 days if i am using nothing but light nutes.

Thanks my Tan Fan! I appreciate you looking. I got good vibes on them. As long as they don't start wilting.. It's just time...No cloning gels or anything just PH'd water and added like 125 ppm of nutes and a small dose of root enhance. So i knew at least 10 but always hopeful early
The mother and yes i am up to like 95% sure it is female! is so beautiful I may save one of these for soil and to become a mom .. well for awhile. I don't want to keep mom's too long but I do have a little extra room in VEG. Someone kick me for considering it. I just love the mom. But i really haven't seen good genetics in action yet. This PC is noticeably better than my bag seed N1 but I saw how the TW and WW popped and started. I may just be excited by the improved genetics of the PC.FE

Yesterdays Update.
Crazy day not a good moment last night to post. I forgot the stats pic and didn't want to go take the pic so I did it this am.
So here is the stats!
Things all looked good. Humidity in Flower was wacked but I washed everything down with straight water in the am. all the tops of the leaves looked cleaner and not wash spotty.
I'm getting use to the light. Funny the first night it hurt my eyes. Now i just see spots for a few minutes after. Well like you just came in from the sun into a dark room.. after i close it. I have sunglasses to use like last night when defoled some... NO NOT THE PC. Cause look.. hard to tell in the pics.. but a long slender sac with two hairs protruding..
Horrible pics and hard to see. But it doesn't look like male sacs. The growing gods may be on my side for this one cause of my first grow misfortunes.
So I am a novice still but it looks female and other sacs look similar. A better pic would show the two pistils better. If this is a female then there are no males or chance of in the tent now.
After I got bold and defoled the N1's. Any leaf that was hanging low enough to touch the tubs got clipped. I did remove 4 from the PC. Big fans but one was rough and all four are not getting the light the HPS used to throw. Now that i am pretty much certain female on the PC she will get the attention and the N1's i don't want to kill but I will be way more aggressive with them and maybe do some fun stuff. Not sure may just do nothing to them and see how they do.
Not saying anything about LED as the canopy is popping and it is bright as shit in there but the HPS you can tell penetrated to the floor. The LED's "light up" the floor. That being said I can easily keep temps at 75 now. It isn't cooler running light but the throw of the heat from the HPS is strong compared to the led I could set on top of the plants. That HPS heat was my issue. You can run a cool tube with all the fan in the world but that radiant heat is still there in HPS. Tent venting has to be good to solve it. LED doesn't seem to need this or do this as much.
So lets get to the Nursery!
Steady growth kids are playing in the wind a little!!
This is the last PIC of the SH1 before I topped it later in the night. I'll try to get a close up of the top tonight.
Light got raised some more or did i do that night before I forget. The WW and TW are continuing good growth and they can almost stand up again. Stretching I see doesn't let the stock get strong enough fast enough it appears. They are fine the supports do all that is needed.
The other PC now is looking at me with sad eyes. She/he knows her days are numbered. She has some known good quality known females in the farm system behind her. And the female all star is in the game ahead of her in flower getting all my efforts now. She/he is exactly that.. Unknown. Stop looking at me with those eyes PC-B cut it out!
I don't even know if I want the SH in there now. (seed paranoid). It's unknown sex. I am not a big fan now of non femmed stuff. I think if I really want to try that stuff regular seeds etc. I will veg longer and try clipping into flower trick. Not sure if that really works though. SH1 may just sit here awhile til I decide what to do...
So as we walk down to the Genetics Department I wanted to mention Far East Buds offices will be possibly closed for the weekend as a small trip is in the workings for a day or two.
Ok here we are...
Boring! And that's just fabulous...

So last thing anyone care to pipe in on what plant I should cull in the flower tent? A few more days confirmation and I want to give the PC the tub to it's self. The N1 strain I will let go away so last two in one tub would be great. start LST ing the PC once I free it up in there. Should help yield on it greatly. But I will cry cause it looks very nice right now. I think LST plants look messy ROFL.

Ok no post tomorrow night as I will be away just for a couple days.
So that means I will bore the shit out of you with one long last one. I think I have lost my readership are my posts too long? Thanks for reading hope it's not a total bore? Well I need some confirmation on stuff in this one so chime in please..
So where to start where to start.
I guess we can do some stats!
So things are all in the general ball park. I am cool with it all after you see what some of my notes show. Humidity in tent is an issue so I shut off the day time vent thing. See what happens.
Ok I found secret well a little secret to growing for me... Ok definitely not a secret but a must. I need cal/mag as a supplement through out the whole grow. Sounds funny but I didn't know. My last grow I ended up adding it in flower but I thought it was due to the increase in consumption. I have water with possibly almost none and the GH stuff has none so it was an issue in last grow and I know it is no longer going to be an issue on this grow.
I have something else to kinda admit. Through out the entire last flower when I was adding Cal/Mag I was adding 20% of what I was suppose to add. Doh!

So these pics are from my guess is nute lock. No cal/mag no flow through plant. No nutes. At least that is the theory.
pics of it all suck but to summarize it. Brown spots in random spots on certain leaves. And brown curled up crusty tips on some.
I did the nute change like 2 days ago and put it a lot more cal/mag. So when I looked at the roots on the plants. This is one of the N1's
You can see it was getting bad in a hurry! 4 days ago these roots at least on the PC where white white. Temps in the res where high til the LED showed so could be a part and I need to add something to keep it clean but I am unsure what to try yet.
Advice?

This was the tent to start tonight.
Well i took one plant and put it in here...
Then took the netpot out..
Then i emptied it and put it in the trash... Yup I did that.
So now the tent looks like this!
And the Buds all rejoiced and looked like this!!!
So I feel like crisis averted on that one. I hope... Not killing The plant but on the nute thingy...
So let's get over to the nursery before they lock the doors cause where here too late.
These guys ....
All got a shot of Cal mag added to their supplement list. I have not added it in veg so this should be a noticeable thing I hope.
This is what the top i did yesterday looks like.
So the Genetics Department is now closed so no pics but i'll explain what we have going on in there.
Ok so the Clones... Well there was some "Bumps" forming and (i couldn't get a good pic of it but I'll get one in two days) when I return from my walk about. It will be better...
