Yah another learning lesson... I like stretch which means less strength in the stems. so if I can get the results i want the nugs get heavy.... That's a good thing

Harvest among Other Things!

So I think it has been long enough on the posts. So lets do one

So I harvested a PC and it was just in time. I have a small amount of it left and it currently is still my favorite. But I do have quite a few new ones coming up for testing ...

So the reason I harvested the PC is I started flushing and forgot to keep flushing it. So i came in to look at it one night and it had fallen all over it self. ;/

I watered it and the next day it really hadn't improved. The next day it came down. And it still will be a hell of a harvest. I know cause trimming it took awhile.

Another lesson learned. Remember what plant is flushing and make sure you keep flushing it ...lol

So veg is looking good. I am seeing the ocassional bug on my bug strips and that has me slightly alarmed but it is summer and I know that in a basement they are bound to find ways in. I am checking my plants and havent seen anything on them so for now looking good. I do have a couple decent size spiders that live in my grow room. Be diligent my friendly carnivores!

So lets take a look at it...

There is a vast assortment. JH is the last one and the one to look at. It needs another week or two then into flower. I am running smaller plants recently only because I can't catch up in flower. I add one and harvest one. I had a big 4-5 week spell there of nothing going to flower so I will need to get that back corrected when these all develop. Then I see that I will be backlogged again..

So the cloner is chugging along but now the results i had hoped for. I think the light cycle is causing issues with the clones. We'll see.. they are all still alive just looking worse than usual. Some i just put in there so they still look good ..

So there is a new mod in flower that has me tickled!

Yup a 30 gallon barrel. 33% more capacity. And it is setup saaweet... I have the water plumbed to it. So I turn the nozzle fill it up and add my nutes. Done. Let it feed on the timer til it is empty and rinse repeat. The lid comes off and I can easily Take everything right out of it.... BOOM!

Having 30 gallons now should stabilize it even more... The bigger the rez the better it stabilizes at least as everyone says.. Let the testing begin!

I had to move the sink over to one side so I could fit it in. Of course it is never as easy as it looks...

So lets look at the plants in here...

Things are going good two young and two old.

This Sour Diesel looks really nice and Lush! It should be a 12 week strain but last time changed trics at 10 weeks. I will try even harder to give it extra attention to get that 12 if possible this time...

WW has become my wife's favorite strain. The one I run is Green House strain and is med. very high CBD THC ratio so she likes that. I really harvested a good one not too long ago.

This was the last run at the DCC and let me tell you it looks like it will have been worth it. It grew odd but the bud sites are so sticky I am shocked. It looks much like the PC but way more trics. It is in flush now and only held up by the Yoyo's

So Last...

This mangy cat has a story... So it has grown so odd all this time. Went into flower small but just grew messed up... so I started training the limbs as they where falling all over themselves... In doing so the center stock bent right over... Of course I saw the next day.... So I corrected it restrung everything and added a yoyo. It seems to have recovered but Looks like shit... I forget 2 weeks on harvest? 3? Funny I just want it to get there but still need other stuff to be ready...


So that about summarizes it all.. The pc results will be in a few more days....

when do you harvest your plants? you aim for mainly cloudy or you like some amber?

Great Question. The "goal" and i say goal because a couple recent ones (a stock split down the middle and a incorrect flush on another) I harvested those a little cloudy some dark... .. But goal has been... WW i like almost clear... i like it that way... good cbd strain as it is med version and makes it uplifting energetic... PC i like to harvest very dark and it becomes very couch lock... TW is more similar to WW but heavier so i go darker on it too... Been playing with them alot. Soon i will have more to test.. So i guess my answer is goal is sorta different on each strain so far.

If I'd known you were looking for a large container I coulda got you a pretty nice 55 gal heavy gauge plastic one complete with lid. Got two just sittin around at her pops house. Prob can still if you need to upgrade later on.
How's BBHB n NL doin ?
I don't wanna sound too dumb here but when you said you started to flush and forgot to keep flushing what exactly does this mean ? If you stop does it automatically kill it ?
Never really flushed a plant yet.

Thank you for the offer... I have 55 gallon ones but I didnt want that big. 30's seemed just about right. I run drain to waste so I didnt want it to last more than 10 days or so as the beneficial stuff will die off... But I was doing it at 6 or so and a little more would be great.
No dumb question to me at all.... When I flush i shut off the nute line ... run lots of tap through the pot and then tap water it daily til harvest. I shut off the nute line and tap watered it once but forgot to do it daily... the plant wilted badly and because it was so heavy it all fell over itself. 5.9933 zips after drying... So I am not complaining. but I think it could have run another few days and added some more bulk. I look forward to seeing you again bro! Shooting for Sunday Am again...

Finally A Delicious Cheese Candy Worth Harvesting!

So as the title says i managed to get in a good run on it...

It still grew very odd like. Well very sativa dominant for sure!

I do like sativa's as the lower buds get plenty of light as well... This one fell right over as soon as i untied her..

So my cloner started slow and I actually lost some clones on this run. I believe the gas lantern pattern may have caused too much humidity at times and thus killing some. But i pulled more as needed and now seem to be getting better results...

So alot of those clones have gone into veg in the last few days...

Veg is cranking right along. The next two plants for flower are in the big pots already... I am interested for the future runs i am going to try some soft pots. They are reasonable enough so I grabbed some.
But these where all ready setup so they will go as done.
There is another PC on its way to flower any day... Then the NL#5 probably another week or two...


So over in flower

Things where starting to get a little bare. But there are some new members that are trying to make sure I forget the past ones... The WW and the Sd are stretching alot. The last run on the 30 gallon barrel was a new heavier dosage in some areas and I think the plants are really utilizing it. Plus they are in the much better Coco with the bennies built in. Oh tonight was the first refill on the 30 gallon.. less than 10 minutes.. Truly a booyeah moment...

That above is the Sour Diesel

Then we have the WW above..

This TW is so mangy and ready for flush any day.. 3rd TW in such a short time that I am swimming in TW. Looks like a few BHO runs on it soon....

And last is a Jack Herer. So this one started the pisils in veg still. It is still tiny. But I was worried the gas lantern was causing the pheno to flower in veg. So screw it off it went to flower. I have more seeds and will start a new one shortly. I didn't even get a good clone. Has anyone had a JH flower in veg or act like it? Is that common for the strain?

Certain strains will pre-flower with that gas-lantern regime.

I used it, always had preflowers. During lights out plants would get cold so I quit that gas lantern game.
