PeeJay's Perpetual Porta-Scrog Party

Out of curiousity, help me learn..see it in a new perspective..
I'm sort of annoyed by the reveg Chitral clones. Things would be looking A+ in the tent if they hadn't been reveg clones, dammit! They are just too spindly-stemy to believe they will do much moving forward

The last photo is one of these right? Looking at the pic, she looks fabulous. 2nd best of the 4 IMO.
..so i dont understand the quote, why wont they move forward?

Am I the only one among us who nearly falls over every time he does one of those comparison shots, or just the only one who's willing to admit it? Good grief PeeJay! I'm gonna shut up and sit over here so I can catch every word. It's like going to school every time I stop.

Ok. Me being quiet.

Deadlines and Holiday hoo-ha has kept me from updating. It's been a whole two weeks. In the last update I said I was flipping but I didn't until the 8th. The plants have been on a flowering light schedule for ten days now and I am going to call today the first day of actual flowering. The Golden Lemon is a few days a head. Panama was the slowest to start.

Here's what the whole tent looks like from the top down - we're wall to wall tops. ;)

Stretch should start slowing down. Here's an eye level view with the Golden Lemon on the right and the green Chitral pheno on the left. The golden Lemon is about 16" tall. Crapy picture, I wish I had taken a second...

The wonky Chitral still looks like crap.

Golden Lemon is a champ!

And the green Chirtal Pheno.

The plants all got a top dressing last week of fresh soil mixed with yum-yum and castings. This week they will get a light fishy fert drench.

Dank, the second one doesn't look bad but lacks the expected vigor it's mother had. Maybe you can see in the eye level shot that it is not nearly as tall and stout as the Golden Lemon?

Scrog heaven...I'm in.

I just GOTTA + rep ya holmes!

Thank you everybody for the holiday well wishes. December has been very hectic and I've been home for about four hours total in the last 14 days - essentially I clandestinely slipped away twice and made the four hour round trip drive home to water the plants. The first time was on the 18th when I made the last quick journal update, and again on the 23rd.

Here is a quick snap I took of the tent upon returning home this afternoon.

I'm going to pull the plants out one by one tomorrow morning for close examination, picture taking, and will comment on each one individually. Things look decent overall. I'm interested to see how they yield. I'm sort of skeptical of yield weights on the forum because it depends what gets weighed, if it is properly dried, includes a bunch of stem, etc. I tend to trim very close and throw a ton of stuff into the trim bag that others would weigh. That said, I'm interested to see how these do compared to the two big non-scrog plants I had in there in the last journal which yielded about 13.4 oz total by my yardstick. Do you think they will beat these two?

Man, what we won't do for those we love, eh?

Props, and Merry Happy and all that.
