PCaddict's 1st Grow Journal

Foxtails are just the plants attempts to keep things alive untill pollination happens. They are all good...no worriez.
Ok your plants are NOT ready yet.
Give them some more time.
Sorry PC.....soon...but not just yet.
Keep ventilation happening...stay the course....wack em with lots of GI.. . . please be patient.......soon......:surf:
I am Not going to chop any of them until you say so. I have all three fans running in there so I think airflow is good. I am getting anxious on one hand and on the other I don't mind waiting.

I watered today with water and Tea next will be GI. so should I use GI for the next two waitering and more if they are not done in the next two GI drenches

Hey PC! Too bad you don't have a real scope, with your pictures it's really difficult to tell doneness. When I check trichs I take a sample from different parts of the bud not just the top, and several buds not just one. Foxtails could be normal based on genetics, or due to stress. I have had some ladies that will put out white pistils till I chop. The trichs are the be all and end all. We can all look at those pics under your lights, but it's just a guess even for an experienced grower. You will have light reflecting, parts in shadow, the color isn't true, all these factors make it near impossible to tell. At least put them in natural light when you take pics of the trichs, the amber ones will stick out like a sore thumb.

I have a scope but its nearly impossible to take a picture of what I am seeing in the scope. Great idea of taking them out to get the trichome shots in natural light. I will have a tripod coming Monday so I am hoping that will help me get better shots

Today's pictures. I am seeing that the tops of the buds are pushing out more pistols

So what do you see in the scope? If you can get a good view, you can make your own choice when to chop.

Yup i would give the next two drinks as GI Drenches PC...looking good...almost bud!

Will do the next two watering's they will get GI at 30mils per gallon. If they take longer then the two GI drenches should I keep giving GI or do a TP drench after the 2 GI drenches. Should I continue with plain water with tea between the drenches or use drenches all the way through with no plain water and tea

Go with the two GI's then just water w/a lil Tea then back to GI (if there's time). We wanna finish with a GI Drench if you can. At this stage we are trying to improve and sweeten the taste. GI will help with this plus supplies lottsa Ca .
Your plants are gaining serious weight right now...lets let them do their thang....
Any gland heads that are still clear will soon go milky indicating peak ripeness. Don't worry about 'amber' gland heads. This HB soil of ours really delays the heads going amber. This is NOT just my observations FYI OK. The HB soil ...maybe it's the very high mineral content that helps with this...not really sure. Its a wonderful soil for extending harvest times so 'clear' heads can fully mature/ripen properly. This greatly increases potency and harvest weight....but u know that , so...
Enjoy the night PC, and let us all know how the toe toe/foot rub goes. Maybe a good time after a while rubbing her feet , to come 'clean' about the lights, since she will /should be butter in your hands...muhahaha! :headbanger:

Thanks Penny, I got lots of them growing right now on two plants in S.P.’s under
a 315 CMH along with 3 photos at different stages of corse or it wouldn’t as much
fun to grow everything out at once. I’ve done that but trimming is not my forta.
and seems to take forever so I plant two at a time about every month for autos
As for the photos, some as u know can grow on forever. (Long time) witch is also y I enjoy growing them out as well. Now that we’re on lock down my garden is
keeping me sane,...
