PB's Persistent Pot Condo: Established 2019

A bunch of cheap asses we are!! :laughtwo:
Agree with that, but every so often we need to pry open the old wallet and spend a few bucks-I just spent $35.00 on nutes, but it's enough to last for a few years.
$2.50 is a great price for pots-they're like $5 each at home depot-funny,you can get the same pot with a little shrub in it for $6.00,so next time I buy pots,I'll be sprucing up my yard with a few new plants at the same time...

Well this can't be good! Fair amount of orange mold or fungus on the outside of runt's bluejean pot, a tiny bit on the other big girl. Hint of mildewy smell on both, but nothing on soil orplants that I can see. Nothing on the black air pot.

Checked trichs this am with watering, 50/50 clear to milky with some amber here and there. Thinking of taking a test bud

Must admit I'm a bit nervous, what you think?

Noticed a few edges of some top bud leaves turning brown also! like a pinstripe along the edge of the leaf. Just a leaf or two on a couple buds, nothing major and not on all leaves on those buds, and not on any leaves of the rest of them. Any suggestions?

Well the research I've done shows the orange crap is orange slime mold. Not too dangerous just gross and a unintended consequence of my DIY. Likes decay, those jean's aren't holding up. I've used the smaller ones twice now, I'll let them dry out and wash them maybe but these are just panels layed against each other. The plant I harvested early had the same panels and they were a mess, I could see the fabric degradation pretty clearly.

I'm hoping the edges of those bud leaves are is just the stage of budding, maybe the girls are starting to suck some juice in towards the middle or something! I'm at 43 days since 12/12 and I just don't see any sign beyond these few leaves on my two most mature buds. I took a closer look and it is edges and vein looking brown like a bigger leaf would.

Not gonna panic, gonna let 'er roll and see what happens. I'm not even gonna pull that gross pot or try and clean it. We're rollin' downhill to the end baby! Cheers yall have a great day! :yahoo:

Oh I forgot to mention 3 onies (6 puffs) off this premature delivery and I'm quite medicated! Ahhh...face/body, definitely seems like the energy high and not couch lock, but definitely potent!

That orange guck is probably feeding on the biodegrading cotton from the blue jean bags-
Grow bags are usually synthetic fabric, maybe that's why?
I think those brown edges on the leaves looks like a normal thing-the brown part doesn't look dead,
just darkened, like it may be part of the "ripening" process...
Sounds like your pre harvest "quality check" went well...

When in flowering the plant sucks nutrients out of old leaves and move it to the budding, where it is needed. Unless it’s something other then what I’m thinking it is, it’s completely normal my friend.

Just for example, notice the off coloured leaves. Completely normal:Rasta:

Gol durnit now it's pest! I went to look at my girls this am and there's a couple of brown spots on the tip of one bud...closer look with the loop and it's like a horror movie I got a giant ant face chawin on my cola! I should have took a pic but I instinctual grabbed a pair of pliars handy and plucked those lillte Intruders off and they were smushed into juice. No trace of their carcasses (no offense @carcass) but I swear I saw them! A close inspection throughout the forest did not reveal any other Intruders invading my perimeter. Holy crap what next!?!?

Doh! Not cool bugs. Unacceptable! Quick research says ants around here don't eat plants but I saw ant face! Although on the other one I though it looked more like a hopping thing, and we do get crickets in the basement from time to time. Hmmm insecticide?

Thanks @Reave after more research I'm leaning towards crickets. I was just down there and I saw a big full grown (3/4" maybe) cricket on the floor near another room. The face had pincers and little black eyes and certainly resembled a ant head but the other having big back legs makes me think that's probably what both of them were. Looks le they feed at night and the lights had just turned on so they might have been loitering because my bud tastes so good!

I'd go on a ladybug safari but I actually have to work today. I'm gonna grab a jar though and keep it with me in case I see one! Cheers fellows, thanks for your help. I'll keep you posted!

You know the two brain cells I have left are a far distance apart in my head so it took a bit to make the connection, but now that I saw these bugs this am, I know I've seen one before! I am sure they are crickets because it was in the am and I think it must have made a hasty retreat once the light came on, but it was a little brown patch on top of a main cola, exactly what caught my eye this time.
