PB's Persistent Pot Condo: Established 2019

4 weeks since 12/12 in here...well dangit, the big girls are happy but it seems like a gnarly mess! 4 plants with 1.5 lights (my cheapos are worth .25 lights each) is just not cutting it! I hate to have to play favorites, the runts are not nearly as happy.

I'm trying to flesh out the undercarriage a bit with more resale shop CFL fixtures. Not sure it's doing much, wondering if they would be better in my gnarly veg mess?

My 10x growth magic pot wand development is going very slowly, so we're still stuck in real time. At least it's starting to warm up outside! CHeers all have a great day!

I'm thinking of yanking this one and giving her spot to a fast learner from the next batch. I'm about out of paid for smoke and have really been enjoying the mellow buzz the cuttings has been providing. This one might be drying experiment #1

I switched out the two cheap "300w" to veg room and put Frankenstein v.1 over the runts (so cool, I found info on the two phenos of this strain and mine match exactly) it seems like my straggler likes it way better!

Thanks guys if I can pinch a penny I'm gonna! Dollar store laundry baskets with leftovers from my bluejean pot endeavor works just fine! I tried to sew big pots but my sewing machine hates me. I'll think I'll rethink this config though because the baskets are too wide for my room. I was able to reuse the smaller denim pots, but my veggies are already pushing roots out of their dang drawers!

I came across this here as a solution to a jewelers loop, it's a eyepiece out of a telescope I have laying around. Works awesome! Hard to photo through, but I can clearly see trichoms through it.

I actually saw a few amber! I'm having a hard time distinguishing between clear and cloudy though. Am I getting close?

It does help! I went back and looked again, lots and lots of clear still. It's only day 39 since 12/12. Strain info says 45-60 days so I figure another 2 weeks anyway, but I'm going to keep my options open for earlyish rather than later harvest. I don't want couch lock, indica already puts me to sleep!
 
You did the right thing pulling that plant-she looked pretty bad growing,even worse hanging upside down!

The rest of your crop,however,is looking mighty fine- I'm waiting on amber trichomes too,my plant's taking her sweet time about it-I'm going for couchlock,so it's going to be a long wait!

I used to use a lens out of an old copy machine to look at the trichomes until a few years ago when I blew the cobwebs out of my wallet and spent the money on a real loupe...
You should check your dollar store for metal mesh trash cans-not as big around as the laundry baskets,and you can stretch the mesh out to fit your pots-although I'm not sure if they'd stretch out enough....
 
Thanks @carcass I smoked her all day long yesterday, plus made cannibutter out of her stems and my shake. I ate a couple of teaspoons of it on a bagel this am, I'm not too in tune to edible buzz, but I definitely feel it, especially after a couple onies a hour or so later. I visited the grow/hydro shop one town over (bout a half a hour) he has 5gal plastic pots for 2.50 a pop, I got 8 of them for my veggies. My DIY is slowly getting phased out I guess C, the hydro guy almost even sold me a PH pen! :laughtwo:
 
2.50 a pop! That’s not bad at all!! That’s 3.35 Canadian, still not bad!! Lol we all need to suck it up once in a while and buy a few things. :reading420magazine: A bunch of cheap asses we are!! :laughtwo:
