Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Hi guys. Well, didn't actually get to pick Mrs Oz up. A burst water main has turned the ONLY ROAD to where we live into a 2' deep river. She got a bus and then walked a mile along the headland tracks.....poor girl lol. On the upside, it did give me the chance to "prune" the girls :) So, I've basically stripped ALL foliage other than the the "head" which will form the main flux. I had intended to leave all the large fan leaves directly below the "head" but I caught a few with the scissors I was using so I now have 7 girls with two fans and 3 with only 1. PRAYING it won't hurt or stunt them..........sleepless night for me I think lol :)

Sorry to hear about Lady Oz & her long hike. But on the upside I see someones going real big this go round.

Greetings Sir Reg of NYC.....thank you for your kind comments. Mrs Oz actually enjoyed her perambulation so much she's going to do it again tomorrow in reverse :). Going big is the plan my friend.....whether that plan reaches fruition will be more down to LAs teaching and the support, help and encouragement I so gratefully receive here than my "skills" lol :)
Hey Alex, getting my skates out tomorrow lol. Actually I hope it's sorted because I've got a little job on tomorrow morning hanging 2 new doors for a mate (makes a change from hanging monkeys I guess lol) :)

Hi guys. I'm hoping it's nothing to get too concerned over but I've just checked the girls and a few of them have raised their remaining fans upwards towards the lights at a 45 degree angle. Can anyone advise me please what this signifies and do I need to do something to help them? Cheers :)

My fan leafs are always like that at the beginning of lights on. I believe during the dark period they're looking for the light.

Hi Reg. Thanks for that. The lights are currently on and have been for 14 hours so far :) That said, I'm guessing it's nothing for me to get worried over then? :)

Thank you and arise Sir Michael of Ontario :) Yes mate, it makes sense to be able to slide the wire into position rather than costantly drilling holes. Sad confession here.....I thought of it at 4am this morning as I layed awake sressing over how best to do it without hurting the girls too much lol :) Upon reflection, I could have added a central long wire JUST to keep the main flux stem arrow straight :) I'll add that later me thinks :)
Lol. I am not a Michael, Sir or otherwise. I am from Ontario tho.
Mick was given me as a nickname by my grandfather. He was a fan of McBeth and it was Short for McDuff. But my given names Is also from McBeth.

Cheers mate :) Even Mrs Oz was impressed by my newly acquired gardening skills lol. Hope she doesn't EVER get a greenhouse lol. I'm feeling a lot more relaxed and confident now the "painful" part is done lol :)
