Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Hi Jay. The girls and I are good mate thanks :) Depending upon where you go for your TIMBER ( lol :) ) you'll get quoted 2x4/4x2 according to the individual salesmans "way" lol.
Driving, hmmmmmm, you see, again in civilised countries like U.K and Australia we drive on the left which is right not the right which isn't right ....RIGHT! lol :)

:laughtwo:

G'day OZ. your babies are looking good, if a little overwatered. I just use a spritzer bottle and spray them with PH'd water and you can even add a bit of nutes to the spray when they can take it. They are still developing roots and feed a lot through the leaves at this stage. Don't let them dry out tho.
Cheers mate.

Hi Mick. Cheers for the heads up buddy :) The Tutt girls are loving life and the autos are "coming on" ok mate. They're in 20ltr pots of coco and I'm really only watering directly on the base of the stem so they tend to dry pretty quickly. Watch this space my friend lol :)

Hey OZ, you will like this. I'm mister 100% too now: but like you, it also has a twist. I planted 8 UBC Chem and 4 mango M1. Only 2 of the. Mango M1 came out of the ground. Interesting that 10 Chemo are above ground.

Two empty spaces on the left.

2 sets of twins on the right.

Ok. I thought I remembered which two pods I hadn't t filled yet. Too old? Or too baked? Or senior, stoned citizen?

How do I separate them??? Hopefully the two Chemo turn out to be males and I can ditch them when they show sex.

Hmmmmm, interesting that Mr !00% lol :) Are you planning to transplant soon? If so, VERY, VERY gently cut the pots of and disentangle the roots before you get siamese twins. Alternatively, you grow both in one BIG pot....grow horizontally in opposite directions :) Hey, LA would LOVE this mate.
P.S.......AWESOME cars my friends.....have some reps JUST for them :) :thumb:

If you are wanting to keep the twins oz is correct in my eyes they must be seperated. If they were to share a pot you'd probs end up with 1 runt and one below average plant. Just what happens when 2 girls share a pot.
All looks nice tho mate :) the seperation of the twins could stress the life outa them also so if u do cut them in half.... Imagine it's your arm n do it carefully :)

Well guys, I probably won't sleep (big day tomorrow :) ) but I'm gonna try. G'night all....hope your gardens EXPLODE with green goodies to greet you tomorrow :) :Namaste: :peace:

Aw shite. Have to watch this. Could easily be recognized. No numbers visible anyway. The red one on the left is my first new car with my mum posing beside her. Easter 1968. Plymouth Roadrunner . Factory Hot Rod.

~ Late on the scene and looking at your bodacious garden and giving rep's my friend. And subb'd to watch you finish up with some sweet sticky treats. Also, I noticed more and more growers are getting strains I never even heard of before, which is cool. I am going to have to start living outside the box I guess... But an outstanding garden, and your grow room looks first class... :goodjob:

Hey Mick, THIS is the perfect window to which you should separate the twins and transplant into separate containers. At this point, the roots are not fully developed and can still be rung out of the soil. Just don't wait too long as both root systems will start to entangle and separation of the twins would be nearly impossible without severe stunting.

I did this same process in my rockwool cubes, and I too was a tad bit stoned I must admit. One point I have to somewhat disagree on is what was mentioned about one plant becoming the runt of the pot. From my experience, if both plants are from the same strain, then growth and nutrient uptake rates would be the same if not very similar. The only case where I can see this happening is if you have a high-tolerating nutrient strain, versus a strain that doesn't show rapid growth until 1month and 1/2 into vegetative growth (and only in the case of THE SAME STRAIN, if phenotypes are at EXTREME opposites).

Otherwise the MAIN reason I don't grow twins from seed is the fact you never know if one of them will be male or not. And by that time, the roots are already established as a whole system, and removal could kill the plant. However, starting two clones in the same pot is fair game for all ;)

Good morning WEEDETNAM and I hope you find great green gargantuan goddesses in your glorious gardens. :)

Hi Mango and welcome to the OZ madhouse :) Mucho grazias for the reps :) Hopefully you'll find some REALLY good info here hiddn amongst my paranoid, newbie ramblings. Luckily, I've got some of THE best growers and teachers holding my hand. Yes, this just journal should have been titled "A Total Idiots Guide On Growing"......but I didn't want to offend any other idiots like me :)

Hey Jay.....did I sleep last night? Not a bloody wink :lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke: Those aren't smilies but actual pics of me :)

AG.... great advice again. Always good to have your input budy :)

Mick...you've now heard it from a man who's been in same boat buddy. There's ALWAYS a Plan B my mate.

Well, today's the day the (teddy bears hav.....err, no, I digress lol) Tutt girlies start life in their new pots......well, it'll be a tough start because I'm also going to pluck more than their eye brows :) . When No1 son gets here we'll get some pics taken throughout the day.

The autos are looking good....if a bit yellow this morning. I've given them a good feed at 1/2 strength and they've settld down into their ringside seats to watch the Tutt show later :)

Alex my friend your the cool kid at the back of the class who knows the subject well and larks about. OZ is the eager kid up front with his arm in the air constantly lol.
Hope the day finds you well Sir Alex! If you post some pics up at some point I'll be happy to give you a shout of if your ready yourself to top etc. Just shout at me lol if I'm needed. As I've said before you guys are good buddy's, But i'll help anyone who ever does my style's if requested.

Hi guys......Alex, I'm fave because I bring apples to class EVERY day :) lol.
Well, it's been a busy, busy morning :) Got the girls into their pots and "micro'd" them (I hope :) ) Not sure if I've took enough off to be honest. Sod's law.....my 3 new 600w MHs turned up 30mins after I'd fired up the HPSs lol :) I'll change them over today though :) Here's a few pics for your comments. The 2 "head" shots are of No7 and No8

Autos chilling under 600w of HPS :)

The girls in their new homes :) They're currently under 2 x 600w HPS and 1x 400w Mh. I'll swap the HPS for MH today :)
