I'm sure I will OZ. I have 10 babies in veg. too. Couple weeks ahead of yours.
4 white widow, 2 UBC Chemo, 3 Sativa Diablo, 1 El Niño. I've done the topping thing on most of them and might try both Fluxing and the Gert way to see how it goes. Hope we can help each other. Hacevn't decided about a journal yet. I don't talk a lot. :Namaste:
 
Def use MH for veg if u have that option over hps. Its a better spectrum for vegging and u will get a much tighter node spacing for a nicer bushy plant.
 
Oh and btw about the light situation you have ...

Great idea getting more light, I mean what plant wouldn't like to be on a little planet of it's own just a couple of lightyears away from the sun ? :)

Little advice ... Let them get to about their 4th node and showing some internode growth. Then hit them with the extra 400 mh/hps ...

The extra light will make the internode growth go crazy and you'll have to do less leaf bending to get light to them.

Also you could always position it in a different place to the other one to get more light in different areas.

I'll hit you up with an update on my journal soon. Just having me coffee and that, you know how it is ;)
 
Plasma lights look great but no way would i pay the money they are asking for. £1000 for 300w? I'd rather get 3 LED panels for that price or 5 quality 1000w digi ballasts and bulbs.

Hi mate. Yep, thats the plan. Think I'll invest in some MH bulbs and switch the over with the HPS JUST for veg. Think I'm going to need a gimp mask, catsuit, welders gloves n goggles too lol. :)
