Great news OZ!....glad Emma's home and Better :green_heart:

I run my exhaust fans 24/7 for oder control...I just turn them down to 1/3-1/2 speed at lights out...just a thought

Good idea JAY233 I think I'm going to try that as the plants don't need co2 and my vortex fan has way more power than I need. 750 CFM for a 5x9 tent.

Yeah...it works great at keeping the oder under control and when I turn it down the temps don't get too low at lights out ( usually 65 F)...just don't forget to turn it back up when the lights come on...my lights turn on at 4:20 AM :)...I am usually awake but a few months ago I wasn't feeling good and slept in...the temp was over 100 F when I woke up :thedoubletake:...I've got to get one of those timers that will reduce the fan speed for day and night temps...I think Titan makes them

I'm in the same boat...450 cfm Vortex for my 4x4 flower tent...the 750 must be the 8 inch?...Nice fan...Vortex is awesome...my 450 cfm Vortex is quieter then my 175 cfm Hurricane that is in my veg tent...and man does it move some air!...I had to reinforce my tent cause the sides were sucking in so bad LOL

Yes JAY better to have more than not enough but you are right about the tent looking like it's gonna bend in on it's self. As for turning the fan off at night I know I am gonna forget every other day to turn it back on so I can't take the chance and bake my lady's. I do have a fan controller that I have not used yet.

I'm pretty sure Titan makes a controller that regulates fan speed for day and night temps...it has two different dials just like the one on your fan speed controller...when you program your lights out time it switches to the dial set for night speed and then switches back to your lights on speed at a set time...I think the controller is $65 but I honestly don't remember

Edit: I looked it up...price range seems to be $75-145 different models/ features...most have a photo cell so when the lights go off it switches to the night fan speed setting ...no timer needed

Jay n LB....yep, I agree and it's happening from tonight onwards. It was always my intention to go 24/7 extract later on in flower but after last night.....NOW is good. I have a variable fan speed controller so 50% it is :)

Had a busy day today.....Emma' been very lethargic (understandable) and I had to go back to the hospital to collect her medication. She's very, very happy to be home and says a MASSIVE thank you to you all for your concerns.

I re-topped the FnV experiment because I only got half off last time lol. I also removed the bottom node. Ohhhh, I have added an extra light though. So that little room now has 1x300w LED, 1x240w LED, 1x400w MH and nearly 800w of CFLs LOL :) I think that ought to do it :)

Hi mate. Thanks for that...it's great having her home :) As for your title.....just remind WHO has the "God light" :) A light SO big, SO impressive it masquerades as a FRIDGE when unwanted visitors call.....(dvd ? YEAH RIGHT) :)
 
Hey GF....I've watched similar stuff on "constructables". I've done a little research to and te best I can say is that an LED is approx 10% up on a MH/HPS....... (300 = 330) The BIG appeal is LEDs run at a better spectrum :)
