Yep, we're definitely neighbors LB. That pic caught me off guard too. I don't think the rest of the universe can quit grasp how big of a pigeon problem we have here. You can be bombed by pigeon poop at any given time in NYC. It's a way of life.

Even a plastic Hawk or Owl will scare away pigeons. I was reading up on that fungus mentioned earlier, ganoderma; it is a genus with many species. Certain species are used in eastern meds as antibiotics, but some species cause root rot. It is found in the forest on trees and it contributes to their decomposing. My point is, this mushroom can leaves spores on your hands, then if you do some gardening ...

Good green afternoon all....blimey, I close my eyes (drew back the curtain ahahahhhhh, to see for....sorry, digressed there lol) and suddenly BOOOOOM a page gets filled :)
I've been a busy little domestic God today.....hoovered (vacuumed ) the house, washed the bedding, cleaned the bathroom ND loos (yuckkkk :( :) ) all in preparation for Emmas return......which seems less likely than I thought. They haven't even taken her bloods today....YET. Ohhhh well....we'll see. Got a bit of "gardening" to do later if I get the time (Also unlikely lol)

Just got a call from Emma.....she's being allowed home tonight :) I've got to pick her up at 8pm so......1.5hrs to go :) I bet she nagged the staff to distraction lol :) Fair to say I'm little happy chappy now :)

Evening all....just back from the hospital.....9:15pm before they let her go so 120mph dash to get home lol. Lights out and fans off at 9:25 but I'd left the tent door open and aircon running......Got here 9:35 and MY GOD...what a stink. Neighbors are already suspicious PARANOID, PARANOID lol :) A can of air freshener later all is ok :)
