Oz's First Grow - Pyramid Tut In Coco

Like ALL the stuff you do....it WORKS :) I'm really looking forward (very excited lol) about the next SINGLE auto to run with the Tutts flowering :) I have a feeling it could be a real eye opener mate :)
Off to pick the ball n chain up from work now buddy.....lol :)

OZ, you asked if I used bloom fortifier, Pk13 etc. forgot to answer. No, I don't. For some reason I have not gotten that far in my education. Does it really work and what do you recommend? I stop using nutes four weeks before harvest, so it's probably too late for the flower girls but the flux girls could still benefit.Do you use it only in the flowering stage, or the veg. too?

Hey Mick, it just comes down to budget and what line of nutes you use. My old plagron range: I had a basic grow, a basic flower. Also a additive for grow phase, then you get a flower booster and then the PK 13-14 on top as well. I didnt have a root stimulator though :) So a good bud booster is great for flower, to get max buds! yet the PK 13-14 is good for giving you dense hard nugs :) Also just for flower!
So simply put if you can afford such things they are great. If not you can still get good product :)

Hi Mick.....as LA says, it's budget driven I guess. I use Canna Boost and Canna PK13/14 purely because I've used Canna coco and Canna A+B throughout the grow.....my thinking being I know they're all compatable (KISS principle lol) . Do they work? well it's my first grow as you know but today my son was raving about how my autos are BIGGER, BETTER and BUDDIER (if that's a word lol) than his mates photos :). I'll continue using them for another week on the autos then (with 2 weeks(ish) to go) I'll reduce the nute dose to 50% for a week then just plain PH'd water to flush them prior to chop :)..........Does that make sense to you LA? :)

Yep its just personal preference, Some people cut everything for last 2 even 3 weeks and just water. Then no flush is needed. Others want to max bud development so give nutes longer and then do a final flushing. One way just gives you the plant using its own stores up yellowing the leaves off etc.
I used to go with last fortnight nada! this run I'm gonna push longer and flush properly at end!

That makes sense mate. I've not really discussed it with anyone but my reasoning is I want growth at all times but with coco being inert the girls rely on what I put in it. Reduced feed, water washing nutes outs next week etc will keep SOMETHING going into them AND clean the coco for reuse :)

Thanks LA. Yeah, I'm not quite broke but i am bent :), so I guess I'll finish the Flower Girls without them ,and they have had a good flush hopefully only two to three weeks until the Diablos are finished. the widows might be two weeks longer than that. i think I will look into a but fortifier for the Flux Girls.

Hi Jay.....thank you my mate, appreciate the big up :) To be honest, I'm not sure where to start when I go in there these days lol. The girls just get bigger n bigger :) Think I'm in for a hectic 3 months here in lol :)

Hey Aztec...good to see you back :) Thanks for the kind words....I've been getting LOADS of help and advice from this awesome community of ours..can't go wrong with that kind of support :)

Lol....yeah we all start somewhere I guess :) Got a few bud shots up of the autos a few pages back :) Can't wait to chop em and give the Tutts some breathing space :)

Hi KJC...and thanks for heads up :) The main area (10 x Tutts) is running at 79-82f and 45-50 RH depending upon outside temps (my intake draws through a partially open window) the other area (6 x autos) runs at 75-78f and 38-42 RH at canopy height.(if you can trust the hygrometer). I have just lowered the nute strength from 100% to 75% BUT ADDED boost and PK13/14. One problem I do have is that 5 of the autos are all the same strain and relatively short at around 24" whilst 1 (a free seed :) ) is tall at 40" so I've had to "compromise on light height. I'd love to hear your suggestions :) :Namaste:

Hey Oz, I am a newy on this site & been lurking around LED forums learning what I can, then I stumbled onto your thread, your tag caught my eye (I am Aussie) & I am also planning a coco grow. Got reading from the start & lmfao cause you were asking all the stuff & freaking out the same as I will when I get goin. Anyway mate l was amazed at the amount of support your getting & have learned a lot from you & the band of brothers on this site. Good luck with your grow matey

Gleny, :welcome: to 420 & welcome to OZ, you found THE best place for ,,,,,,,,,,, everything good.

When I saw that you were "LMFAO" I had to let you know that you will find all you need here & within

the circle contributing & participating to :circle-of-love: in OZ. :high-five:

Trich my friend you do make my day :) You're one funny guy...mad as a shithouse rat mind but foooooking funny :) Love ya bro :)

Hey Trich,

Thanks for the welcome mate, looks like I found a good bunch of blokes with good banter & a shit load of knowledge.Like OZ, I have been a daily token for over 35 years. Had a crack at a hydro grow in the early 80s, but didn't have a lot of luck. Been getting my weed from an ol mate for years, always good daca Poor bugger passed a couple of months back, so my meds dried up & the crap the young fellas grow here is never cured & taste like crap. So gonna have a crack at doin it myself. Invested in some LED lights, couple of tents & just waiting for the beans to arrive to get goin before the goins all gone. Probably gonna drive you blocks nuts with a lot of questions
