Outdoors IKLWA And Cherries Dubelee In MA

Highya Azimuth, SO, guys and gals,

I just started another batch of JMS (Jadam Microbe Solution) yesterday. I got waylaid with building with my brother and his deck, so I stopped using it for awhile. Just started again because of the weather. Budrot isn't bad yet, but promises to be more so, with all the humidity we've had this year. Other than JMS, I can just cut out the budrot instances and carry on. Lots of checking. I just got my stepladder back yesterday, so I could climg to the top of them for inspection. Happy Smokin'

Are you guys trying to JMS spray again this year? I should resurrect the JMS and bud rot thread.

I know @Danishoes21 had really good success with spraying a JLF willow extract for keeping bud rot and pm away so that may be another thing to try. Kind of too late to get started now given the time needed to ferment the stuff in time but something to consider for next year.
He was using Silica as well as a couple of other different plants 🪴. But he seems to have some success with it. CL🍀

EARLY FEEDING DAY BY 3 DAYS UPDATE

The best day to you all! My ladies of the yard were ready for lunch so we had a nice interlude a moment ago!

I noticed since they throw plenty of shade there's zillions or tiny roots emerging from the soil all over the hole area! I thought it's time for some compost to go over them, a handfull or three of my homemade Bokashi and what they thrive, 4 cups of @GeoFlora Nutrients Bloom. Watered that all in and now we wait! Only one more feeding for the Cherries D I'm thinking! :woohoo: She should be done shortly after that!
Here they are today!

Stunning, love this shit. My first serious grow was outdoors and I subsequently did 8 seasons in a row, all during prohibition ($2-3k USD/pound). I don't miss it so much anymore, humbled and hobbled as I am, Plus I don't own a 42ft. ex-salmon troller anymore to go out to obscure locales for planting. Next season I plan on doing 40-gallon SIPs on the roof, with the rez auto-filled, and I hope I can produce big trees as beautiful as this. I do miss seeing those monsters on harvest day and the awe I felt in their presence. I'm going to make sure I plant some very mature plants started indoors, use northern lights or white widow genetics, and use blackout tarps if I'm up to it. But, man, there isn't much I would not do to get my hands on some Geo Flora. It looks like I would have to win some here to get it as it is not avail in Canada, as best I can tell. I hope you enjoy this wonderful time of year and feel justly proud of this accomplishment in particular, as it is very well done and most impressive. So far so good, and good luck mother-chuckin', you mother-chucker you. Thanks also for the encouraging words today, they all really mean a lot to me and I take from them a great deal of strength, strength I immediately deploy in this battle to avoid an early dirt nap. Cheers mate, I appreciate you.

What a trip having a boat of such distinction! Oh the plantings on islands and no walk to areas you must have had!

I helped my buddy with a rooftop 2 plant grow a few years back. Way less bugs up there and more sun! PRETTY HOT THOUGH! Inner city.

We're getting of a certain age and have to live around that. Me anyway @68. Keep as active as possible as you get healed up and try to get your vities and minerals in best you can!

Thanks for your kind words RD! Wish Geoflora went up your way! You have Remo. I like that one a lot too. My BIL uses it.

oi lads, what's IKLWA? I presume it's an acronym and unrelated to the Zulu traditional spear weapon spelled the same way. I'm really finding success culturing bacterial and fungal products for use in my SIPs and I hope to have even more experience with them by the time I plant my outdoor SIP plants next year. Watching my plants respond, indeed thrive, as a result of the various cultures and applications has been nothing short of inspiring.

In fact, this experience has made me commit to caring for and growing my own microbial cells in and on my body with much greater care and conscious intention. I take some labs every night with a glass of milk, and have been known to spray myself with a particular solution I've concocted if it is very well rounded and balanced. I've become a die-hard Sweet Candy user for its incredible ingredients, plant response, and I use as my base nutrient in flower (it's 0-27-27 now)

Careful on that ladder please!
Thankfully it's raining today. Mission aborted. I will in the future thank you!
Yeah. Wear a parachute.
Nothing I'd like better than a jetpack!
Careful it is wet out do not fall and hurt yourself. Then no one will be looking after your trees. :circle-of-love:
I'm too sweet to work in the rain Heith. No worries today! :p

No no, it's all of that Dog. This is that special a grow! It and others have an incredible story on page one of this journal. It's the coolest personal family history story shared!

From the breeder, Lerugged.

"Iklwa comes from the foot of the Drakensberg mountain range and was likely the same genetics that Shaka Zulu and the Zulu tribe would have consumed/smoked before battle and for ceremonies. The name I have given this strain is the name of the short spear that Shaka introduced. Like the spear, this strain is sharp and what I call Insta-high. The euphoria comes on by the time you have a second hit, or, as you exhale your first. This is a pheno that comes from Miss Sticky. 9 to 10 weeks to flower. Spicy, woody, and earthy are the scents you will likely get. Occasionally floral."

Do you mean for the rez or your soil? In LOS I'm finding the only issue for me is getting cal and mag to them. I want to feed ro water only. I upped the dolomite in my amend mix and still they acted like there was nothing there. They have no problem with a 4 ml shot of cal/mag down the pipe every day for most of them. The giants want more. EarthBox would has us mix a pound of dolomite lime in the soil on start of a grow. I can't wrap my head around that because I use my soil over again. Seems to me a pound every grow is a lot after a while. What do you think? It's tempting. I want to try it. Maybe I will and keep that soil separate to test.
