Our Ongoing Grows

Trump will come and go, but the problems his twitter fingers exposed all need to be addressed. There is a global force that has a back door into our political system and is able to manipulate us using our own people and "news" sources. That force wants America to fall and lose our independence only to be reborn as slaves under their rule. Our military might is coveted and they wish to use us to enforce their will onto the rest of the world until the entire human race is subservient to them and they've been nudging us along on this path since we fought the Brits. Now they are running Socialism and the Green New Deal down our throats and everybody are discussing "Climate Change" as if it is settled law and undisputed science. They even went so far as to rename that from it's former name of "Global Warming".

I love our flag just as much as you, but it does represent a big fucking hindrance to that end goal and they are just going to push harder and harder. They're safe from exposure though so long as we the people keep thinking this is all and only about Trump, oh and the evil Russians too, lol.

Still waiting on that Mueller Time BTW.

@SOG001

I got acouple still,,, but I can't ride anymore with a failed hip that's popped outta socket about 15 times. so I wasn't in a big hurry to bring them up here.. I'd pull up to a stop and can't even hold it up with my left leg.. And lay her down,, and damn near cry.............
But I have a 51' Pan and a 76 Bicentennial Sporty........ Sitting in storage, I had to sell my Knuckle before leaving Oakland Cali..... Shame, but needed funds back then. I know I'll never find another...... One day I'll go get them for my boy's..

Now I just drive my P-up and call it good......... But I miss the wind in my hair...

We get it. I think this is what they meant when they say "it's like watching grass grow". Sure we try to make it sound like much more than that, but after about 2 rounds, then journaling itself gets severely boring IMO. Pictures all look the same, environment changes somewhat I guess, but once we each dial ours in, shit gets boring as fuck again. You take your time bro, we'll be alright...

I get soooo bored. Water, watch, whack.... yawn.
Got me a new bud press machine tho. That's makin life slightly more interesting.

Hate to hear others dealing with this shit....

The missus and I both danced with it. Took her down a notch. I was lucky enough just to complain allot. Lasted forever and a week.

With a Rebel Yell,,,, Son's of Confederate Veterans here... Not that I'm an activist or anything,,, but I do send support every year to protect our heritage..... All good..

You go baby! Many of my brethren gave a good bit to support your rights to shake your fists. It's kinda what our country is based upon. We may not agree on all issues... but that's what the system was built to do. Let's tip a jug to those that put the system together, and those that gave their all to keep the wheels turning.
Damn... rum bottle's empty. Gotta crack open a new one!

I'm sorry you don't ride anymore the '51 pan and '76 bicentennial nice bikes Harley's never die they just keep on chuggin

@SOG001
As far as bikes,,,I got lucky back sometime back and ran with some peoples that excess to tons of old bikes. Alot of baskets and some more. I was kind of hanging around down in the Red and White if ya get my dirft' part of Oakland down on High' st. But I've been a house painter most of my life,, even into specialty coatings, for bathtubs and auto and even water treatment plants with coal tar coatings,,, nasty shit. Even painted the clubhouse and outbuildings and sprayed alot of frames and base colors

But I ended up painting an 'OG Patcher's from the clubhouse. And we hit it off well. Well after I got it dialed in, he offered me a pick of the baskets he had out back. The dude has alot. I mean he has some really early stuff. But I liked that yr Pan, alot. And it was about all there so,

he also gifted me the knuckle later down the line. My Dawg , Wolfman, he was a fair wrench and did 90% of the work, and I painted them.. We had excess to everything at the shop and Soney's Store and they had everything... Even did chrome there.

Well @OG1969 them 4 cuts look slow.. I don't like the look. So to be safe,, I cut 3 small branches off the one in flower and threw them in the cloner.. They will have to reveg and monster crop out for abit. Matter a fact I'd like to have three of them Monster Crop for my next flip.. That might be a really good way to get more outta plant... But I'm doing all I can to keepem her going....

Hey wood I had a friend that had a collection of bikes that were all in pieces his favorite was a suicide shifter I think it was a '48 he also had a 2010 superglide before he passed away 8 years back We had some good times in his shop

I never got into riding, shit, my driver license has been suspended since 1992, lol. But I do appreciate seeing a nice bike and miss seeing the long fork choppers with tall ape hanger bars. It seems that style got played out in the 80s, but I wish it would come back.

My bike is a coat rack in the garage... gonna bust her out this summer and swap her for a boat... nothing special bit I'll give her one last blast. 07 v star.

I see HPS LED convo went again... I'll admit HPS is best for commercial and anyone who can keep the temps in check. Leds are great for limited and hobby growers, but still have 5 years then theyll compete....

Anyways high woody hope you and miss j are well. Summers coming :surf::headbanger: excited to see that pool surrounded by bushes

I swapped out my 600w HIDs for COBs, and so far they're wiping the walls and floor of my HIDs. And from what I understand, my COBs generally are out performed by quantum boards. Not to mention with the very wide variety of color spectrums and power efficiencies, I bet the days of HID will be done very soon. LEDs also last many times longer than an HID bulb.

Well @TheMadDabber I ran into problems with the last side by side. But I still have plans.... Right now I have a 1500watt HPS on one half using about 2' of the light rail and the same LED on the other. But as summer temps begin to come round,, I'll be running a 1000 watt/1600 mars side by side. With 8? plants... I just have to come up with the plants I'm going to run.

I don't think HID lighting will every be done with @Skybound. I don't think LED will ever really equal the raw power of HID lamps used in large commercial grows.
Least if cost of electricity, overhead space and temps don't come into play. Like a warehouse or even a bedroom. They penetrate deeper,, giving you a larger sweet spot of optimal light.. Making it better for larger plants. I've seen peoples run 6 1000's in a 10X10 room and they have solid buds all the way down......

But then I do defend LED's even tho my experience is minimal with them. But I can see where they are a big plus like said. And people are doing really well with them. And I see them for 'homeowners' grows. Like tents and smaller grows... They have come a long ass ways since the round UFO's tricolor were the newest thing'... Now they have them at most target colors. And you can actually make your own colors by mitch and matching lamps. And they do last alot longer.

I generally switch out lamps at about a year old,,, and my light is on in there 12/12,, 24/7,, 365.

Well all this talk about hemp mites, well not here but you know... Made my skin itch and reminded me I haven't sprayed for a month month and ahalf. So tonight,, everything in veg got Green Cleaned.

I also have a few extra clones off this Strawberry Amensia, so I up-potted to 3 gallon finish pots and I'm going to throw 3 in flower that are 12" tall. This plant is growing some huge ass buds,,, least for being repeatedly topped,, on the one I have in flower.
These 3, 2 of them are just recovering from a topping and have 2 new sets of leaf on them since the topping.. And the third is untopped and I'm shooting for a bud that will be all she can be........

Man some of the best times in my life were spent down at the Clubhouse.. Hella parties,,, sex drugs and rock and roll,, and bikes. Nothing as fun as putting your feet in the pegs and cruising down the coast and pitching a tent at a campground. Fire up a bonfire and ice down some beers. Shame we can't turn time back.

Oh and BTW I only have afew plants in my veg tent,, so I shut down the 600 watt MH lamp and moved them from a 5X5' tent into a >2X4 mother tent,, under a LED lamp.. I fuck up my than my share of veg plants by growing under MH. plants of all height. On step stools,,,, Makes some get abit leggy.. Not that these kids are leggy. But I want to keepem like that.

And I did get off my lazy ass and get a pic or two... Well, I did get 5...........

These are that Strawberry Amnesia............ But I do know,, other is interested in it... Lazy was thinking of it.. Good plant Lazy.. Big yield I do see coming up from her...... But I babble enough to bore everyone.. So just a pic 'dump''' BTW I never just dump pic.s..

Is boring looking at 20-30 crapy outta focus pic's to see afew good ones.... I always wonder,, don't the person taking the pic know it is outta focus???????

I just like to look at my pics before I post them and make sure I want to be able to say that is my pic...

But enough sniveling;;;

That's all folks;;;;

nice pics of a beautiful plant woody ive always loved your pics btw in the beginning when I first came here to 420 I hadn't taken any photos of plants but looking at your photos inspired me to try and turn out pics as nice as yours still working on it!:bravo:
Same here ive followed NCW for maybe a year before I even started a journal. Looking really good in here! That strawberry amnesia is probably gonna yield pretty well.
:ganjamon:

Yeah, but you guys are all relatively new. I remember, maybe 6 years ago, or so, Brother NCW had his whole pool area surrounded by tree-sized plants. I'm talking autos that were above the roof of his house! :meatballs::adore:

Pic quality, and likely plant quality, has improved greatly since then, but he's scaled way back in terms of size! ;)

Grow journalist? Is that new?

I'd love to grow outdoors at that size.

That strawberry amnesia is looking excellent NC!

Yes, it's a new title for me and, I believe it's a new position with :420:. It was "kind of" bestowed on me (after some administrative stuff) when I agreed to do a sponsored grow journal to help one of the sponsors. Shortly after, this was posted:

Who Wants To Be An Official Sponsored 420 Magazine Grow Journalist?

If anyone is interested, you should respond to that thread! :goodluck:

That exact photo forms my goals. I'm totally shooting for Wood's poolside trees!

Here... let's tour some of Wood's hits!

Man.... I rolled thru 100's of his photos to find those. It was a stunning stroll thru beautiful plants and buds!
