Our Ongoing Grows

I have a bush right outside my house that gets PM REAL bad every year. It right outside one of the vents running under the house. Our house is off the ground to so a hole wood be easy enough, cept we have a good looking hardwood floor under the white linoleum. Well I use a passive air intake real close to that bush,, and when it got that right temp and humdity outside,, I had PM inside. PM spores have to get into your grow room to be able to infect your plants. I loked at hepa filters,,, but they restric airflow. This dustshroom filters down to spore size and has 0% air restriction. I have a exhaust fan in the ceiling,, aand I took down the floor ductwork in there, and have my intake come from under the house, which is the coolest air around this house.. Exiting thru the attic.
BUT I am in a hurry... So all the pups are basking under acouple 1500 watt ballasts for a minute. I usually use MH lamps for the beginning of flower, but I ended up starting with HPS. They might stretch a extra inch should be all. I, well my little 2 cents thinks plants tend to stay shorter with a starting light of MH for the first week or so.
Yea Toasted, that my going price for top shelf weed. Not that I sell alot of herbs,, but someone has to pay the electric bill right? And pay for my seed addiction. I have about 75 different gentetics in my stash. Most are single seeds. I feel the fem seeds are great for a crop or clones,, just not the best to raise seed stock with. I'd opt for regular seeds for breeding purposes.
BTW Canna, I am kind of stuck in a time frame with my music. 70-80's either C/W or Classic Rock. I don't care for shit like Rap and such. Imagine that? Keepem Green

Well, time to get some top dressing out. I try to use as many organics that I can till rapid flowering gets going. But the Super autos are flowering, and the BBxC-99 fast version is going to. Should come in nice and early for me. I truely believe these fast versions and super autos are similar attempts on a strain. Alot of people, me included, need them faster strains. They crossed in some auto genetics and it made plants start flowering earlier. I'm hoping for a mid-Sept harvest. To me that wood be hella cool. I'd beat Portlands rains for a change.
But I plan on top dressing with Bat Crap, just a tad of blood meal, some bone thrown in for the hella it, rock phosphate, azamite, k-mag. Mix it in with some dirt and spread acouple inches ontop of the soil, and water in with some myko and bat crap tea. I also inoculate this tea with Actinovate. The plants will get one more dose of this before harvest. I also need to put alittle Captin Jack on these super autos that are flowering, along with the other auto that are flowering. I hate catterpillars. We get them bad here. I spray my photo plant When they start flowering. 1st of Sept or so. A light mist is all they need. Stuff works systematic and lasts for 3 weeks. So I'd get afew sprayed about this weekend. Thats about it here. Hope alls good and Keepem Green

I know anyone who's done their homework knows of Extreme Garden's Mycos.... Now I understand all the benefits like the hydra effect on root colonization and such,,, another thing I understand about the wettable powder is it won't clog injectors.. Make sense? Wondering what IF,,,, I added alittle to the cloner? Just a question? Anyone have a idea? I have problems cloning these puppies. But I have a new tray just starting to show roots. I'm thinking of putting a dose in there and see if I get TONS of bright ass white roots in a record time.. Help?
I'm wanting a miracle... JK but is interesting,,, least to me right now....... I do love to bath my young plant's roots in a myko's solution and even put the granular in my transplant holes... But in a cloner? Anyone tried?

I can't address your choice of feeding techniques, but many folks (including myself) use a touch of nutrients in the clone water. I often used a 1/4tsp of my liquid grow mix. These days I just put 3 Osmocote+ balls into my clone bags.

Whats up Wood, Willie came by, the old grower that gave me the lights. I can see he's fucking amazed at my growing skills. He's broken hearted big time cause he cant grow. Hasent had to buy weed in many years till now. My yard grow oz are $75. to friends and this buggers trying to get it for $50. Some peoples kids. I thought about all the equip. he gave me and compromised at $60.
He was telling me how the dude that got him busted tried to kill bugs on an indoor garage grow once by bug bombing the plants and killing them all! I know dude and hes one selfish idiot. i told Willie I use preventive measures for bugs/problems (thanks to NCW!) He asked whats that? Told him neem twice a month in veg and green cleaner in flower if a problem arises. oh, and Safer cat. spray all of Sept. once a week. His attitude is.... fuck the computer. Yea right dude. Reading your latest info NCW got me to think how much better the G.cleaner is for inside a tent when you cant move the plants. Less oily.
I bought 5 gal smart pots and I wont be able to move these buggers around like the 3 gal plastics.

I just orderd 5 more TGA Plushberrys, that will make 15 total. They might have to be my next tent run. I took a bunch of clones off everything out there in the yard. I had to bring the clones in the house cause too hot in the laundry room. Its been 4-5 days and alls well till now. I took the domes off before bed last night and this morning over half are wilted bad and a few dead. What the fuck I do!!! SOB!! I thought a lil air would do em good but fuck no. I do mist them twice a day and it is possible I used the vinager water bottle I have in the kitchen for cleaning. But I dont think I did that. Why would taking the dome off for 6 hrs kill them??? Ive taken clones less then 10 times and 100% germination last time. Well, looks like there goes a whole run of White Master Kush. Damn and they did so well the first grow. Oh, that Dark Hearts S.Diesel has been sitting in jars for 6 mo. and its incredible!!! Stoney stuff!!

Fuck me running!!! A major milestone, selling weed to the store!!! Im so fucking proud of myself!!! My first envelope of money!!!! I told my trim buddy if he can help me get to where I can vend to the stores its all the weed he can smoke. But hes got to help me and he does. Im going to give him 5% cash also. When I told him this he smiled big time. So 50 big ones for him also. So yes people, 2lbs of outdoor for a grand. I hope I get it for half the price they sell it for one day.

Dutch it's all a learning curve is all.. And once a person thinks he knows it all, he's beyond help............ I tell everyone to spray their outdoor plants once with some caterpillar control. Some use BT or Bacillus thuringiensis, I use Spinosad. I've not used the BT but I've heard good things about it. I'll stick with the Spinosad in Captin Jacks Dead Bug Brew. One spraying on the outdoor girls a week after they start flowering and I haven't seen one since... I give it 5 stars for what it is...
The Green Cleaner sure is alot less messy. Especially when you spray in place. Good thing about the Green Cleaner is it kills PM on contact, along with most bugs that could become problems. I'm bringing plants in from outdoors so I asume they have PM spores on them and maybe a bug. So they all got two sprayings with the green cleaner and then into the flower room. You have to get rid of all your bugs and spores before you bring them in. Once you get PM or Buggs while a crop is miid flower,, your fighting a losing battle.

Man the prices are bottoming out; that seems good for the consumer, but it has to be bad for small growers. I'm glad long ago that I decided to avoid doing business back and forth with anyone; I couldn't sell at that price without losing money.

I've heard afew people using that Con. And it works well. I first used that Captins shit the second year here in Oregon. The first time I grew here, I had afew worms. Seems the worms are regional. I've grown places I've never had a worm one, and others had tons of them. But I bought the big bottle. From what I've read is the spinosad has a longer effective time than the BT. I always say 3+ weeks to dissipate. But I do like the sound of this article I just read about it. Says insects gut have a PH of like 10 and when this stuff gets in the stomach it eats holes in the ways and kills that way. I like the fact these worms eat holes in the plant's Leafs, so one good turn deserves another...

Yea one thing about Oregon, it does have about the cheapest priced herbs around. Now it gets costy if you go to the store and buy what they sell as top shelf weeds, and some do have some good weeds, prices are all over the place. 10 bucks a grams is kind of a average from a store. But you can pay up to 400 for some herbs. But then most people I know don't go to a store. Outdoor weed is abit cheaper. You can find a zip for 100$+ Locally it's hard to do a outdoor crop that is top shelf. Weak sun and short seasons keep local grardens on the cheaper side. 75% of my outdoor crops go into budder and RSO. If I get a good plant out there, I harvest the main colas and cook with the rest.

I don't sell to make monies myself,,, but like I saiid someones gotta pay for the new dustshroom. I've been using that one forever and we all know what a constant airflow will do to a filter. I bet this one ones going to drop the temps 5 degree with the same fan speed just with increased airflow. It should be here tomarrow. BTW I like the new dehumdifier. Alot quieter. One day, next summer it will be time to take down the exshaut fan and clean it up oil and all that good stuff. The flower room is looking great. I ended up getting rid of that OG variant that had that leather looking leafage. I'm going to have to grow another of these.

If I was in your climate it would be different for me. Probably autos no doubt. Its best here to be done by mid Oct. and Im way warmer and dryer than you.
I know you use the Captains jack for Caterpillars. I will be going to that when this Safer is gone. I get theory pretty good and get to learn lots here at 420. Again, I think Wiily is amazed at my growing skills!! He goes to the glass slider and looks and I say "lets go look at them" he says "I see em" He can see at 25 ft they are incredible. He dont say much. Ive used the green cleaner once on the last tent grow for possible WPM and it cured it quick if it was there. I have lots left. I can tell the Safer stays on the plant about 3 days so I spray once a week all Sept.
My trim buddys older brother is also amazed at my weed. He cant believe its outdoors. He cant believe I dont use co2 in my tent. Years ago he used to grow. He likes my bubble hash. I give that away with the bag of weed.
Yesterday I put the dome back on the clones and they quit dying. Still some wilted and a few past the point of no return. Doing some thinking I cant use reg seeds in the tent. No room to veg 16 plants, especially in these new fabric pots. If I cant get 8 clones of the same to make it I got to go get 8-10 Dark Heart clones for the next run. The tent has to be either fem. seeds or clones. So fuck I just orderd 5 more Plushberrys that have to go outside cause theyre reg. seeds. Makes 15 Plushberry seeds. I was looking at D.hearts clones drop and I like the Dream Queen, Bubba Kush. I might go buy eight 5 gal tall plastic pots for the tent cause easier to move around. I could jam fifteen tall 5 gal. plastic pots in the tent to veg but no topping or training. What fun!

Tead, did you think about just adding a 50A sub panel in your grow room. Just need to run one big ass cable and you're set ... could even do 220v and save a few cents on electric and have room for expansion should you need it??? 120'ish of wire for 50A ain't cheep but do it once and go big...\\\

I have to agree with Mister Brown there about going big. Nothing worse than running your wire or even buying a smaller grow light, after abit we tend to outgrow whatever we have and then we have to string another wire... That go big is really what one needs to do. Just like buying a 600 watt grow light,, after acouple months, you kick yourself for not getting the 1000 watter. Better to have more than not enough. Thats what Miss J's son did here,, ran a sub box rather than shut it all down for a new main.. Thats works as long as your not drawing more than the main breaker allows. Me, between the grow room, central a/c and the pool, besides what we draw for the rest of the house,, we are maxed out.

Fast update.. Nothing big, I have 2 NL autos and 2 Train Wrecks in this stay. These are CKS strains.

and acouple more of their strains. Smoke isn't to bad from this. Small yield and semi decent smoke. I got acouple giggles outta a Family Guy

Hey Woody... maxed out .. can always go COBs... replace 1K watters with the same amount of light at 1/2 the watts .. it's getting to to the point of diminishing returns on the HID gear. I've found that the Chinese LEDs run WAY hot, ditched all of mine went to COBs not turning back. Got my start on HID and went to LED due to heat/safety but the heat was still there. COBs get warm but I'm putting out a lot more light and can move the power supplies to another room like HID..

You could at least double your lighting for same wattage... just something to think about going down the road. Shit keeps getting better and better too.. almost like growing weed indoors is going global! hahahahaha boom!

Hey there Sticky. I do like the look of the Early Miss. She frosted up nicely. That GG4 I have is from seed. I've heard good things about the weed. I've never tried it. But I do have a dubie rolled and waiting for when I get ready to watch another family guy. Family Guy reruns are my judging system. For every little laff she goes up a point. 10 max. I've never smoked a 10 yet. I've seen afew 9+ in my life, but I know I'll never find a 10. It's all in the chase.

Right now Mister Brown, if I had the extra to do a whole room with them, I'd fix the main and throw acouple more 1000 watters and the split air. Them lights can get pretty costy when you want to do a 10x12 foot print. I do have that one light to try out and I have the perfect size tent for 2 plants. I'm fixing to use it to finish rooting these clones and the few seeds I started. You never know butt for now, I'm going to make do with what I have. This isn't the best time of year to be running my flower room. But my stash jars are running low. I can tell this Pup's aren't a big fan of heat. The cool winter weather sure brang out some colors...

You know Jgrow, for a tent I can see them. And like you said alot are using them with great results. I'd think about them for sure in a tent Especially for a new start up. Before one invests it's a good idea to really wiegh pro's and cons. What one expects from their grows. Personal garden, or comerical grow. I don't think LED's will ever be cost effective for a large comercial grow. You can get a TOP LINE HID for 350$ out the door. And -30 bucks a year for lamps... I still have a magnetic I used for I lost count of the years I've got on it. Still fires great.

I was running 1050 watts HID in 4x4, no AC, just 450 cfm out, 550 cfm in on thermostat. Ran 9pm to 9am, fan on at 82F off at 74F. Secret is air movement and ducting outside.
