I hereby claim 'dibs' on the square footage circled. I envision an August day lazily lying in the sun and dropping in for the occasional dip while my nostrils fill with the sweet smell of various buds.

Wood yer freakin crazy bro... OK so tell us the story (or not) on how you got a year in Santa Rita?? If ya don't want to all good. I love to read about the "good ol daze" from back in the 60s and 70s in Cali when everyone was "importing" cannabis. There was a great setup down at the warf in Oakland back in the day. Lot's of beach landings too.. all up and down the coast.

I really don't know how I missed all that! I was a fortunate recipient of many a good bag of high end weed tho... From Hawaii and Thailand... shit we even got red weed from South America... also got the Paraquat shit ... thanks to Tricky Dick.. "If they are stupid enough to smoke it they deserve what they get." Wow... I could see our new Pres say something stupid like that.

My dad back in the day was a pediatrician and we lived in the same town and Nixon's Daughter.. she was having a baby and needed a C-section and my dad was on call... he was a HUGE Nixon fan... asked me what I thought of Nixon before going into the hospital. Well I told him straight up "he's the worst freaking ass-hole pres we've ever had".. and that's a big chore to top ... he came home after meeting the guy and delivering his grand-daughter, and told me I was right... "egotistical bastard" was the words I remember and my dad was a non-judgemental type.. 47 years later and we still haven't gotten rid of his stupid shit.

That's some good ole time country hillbilly goodn's right there.

When I go see country music, it's out in the woods in the country under dance tent with some good ole Virginia home made corn liquor with fruit (fire sip not chug) and some dank ass weed that makes ya wanna get up and get in the dance circle and "do it". Modern take on "square dancing". Psychedelics are NOT frowned upon! :thumb:

Grow fire, build a fire n have a party! Summertime and the livin is gettin easier.

Thanks, Jaga and Dr. Hook. And Mister BBrown, that year was a long story. Here's the condensed version. Back when I was 16 years old, I lived in Indiana. People had always told me about the famous ditch weed that grows wild all over the state. IDW. Well being a 16-year-old stoner, I had to see this. And sure enough, I was walking down the railroad tracks with a 22 popping at a can or a bird or anything that was there,, and all of a sudden I see all this green on the edges of the cornfield. It is harvest time and we all know corn turns brown. Well, it's true,, weed grows wild there. One of the biggest hemp farms of that time was Gumms Farm which was a potato farm. We use to import our hemp from the Philippines and that area for rope. Well WW2 happened and our supply was cut off. The States started doing their hemp for victory program. People were exempt from the draft if they grew hemp. Even their kids were if they farmed hemp. Well after the war we started using synthetics for rope and hemp wasn't needed as much. So they stoped growing hemp. But hemp being the weed it is,, didn't roll over and die. It kept growing on all the ditches and railroad tracks around. Well like said a 16-year-old stoner,, isn't going to just look at weed... I cut a lot down and filled the camper shell on my truck. Well, I ended up moving to Cali a year later and bring like 20 pounds with me. For what? I don't know all it did was give ya a headache. But I got busted with it. And I got sentenced to a year in the County. Three weeks after I started my time, a big race riot kicked off. And they Sheriff paroled me. Old Santa Rita was worse than most prisons I've been in. And I've been in afew of them. Quentin, Folsom and P-Bay. Last time I was in trouble was about 91... Knock on wood........

Morning everyone... Things are going to get hot here. Hot as hell for Portland area. Up to 108, they are calling for... I'm sure going to have to move all my pots up on another level of 2x4's and drag what I can on a small strip of soil I have out back. Concrete sure gets hot. I was talking about how much water I lose here... Sure I do have a cover but we do need a new one,,, these solar blankets only last acouple years before they fall apart and then they can clog up the sand in the filter with blue plastic chunks. Right now I can't afford another,, they are costy,, couple hundred. Besides someones generally taking a dip. The Grand Daughter and her friends arre in it damn near 24/7, besides, water is a renewable resource. What goes up must come down. And I don't mind the couple bucks for that. A pool is really useless in Portland cept acouple 3 months outta the year, so I keep it open when I can. Now ask me Wednesday if a pool is useless in Portland!!! They are calling for a possible record temp Wednesday. I think all the concrete we have in the yard keeps the water 84 on the natural, but me, I like it 89 degrees so I run the heater damn near every day for awhile. Winter time we have one of the tops you can walk on.... Not that I wood walk on it,, but that's the claim. And they run close to a grand. In the last few year the back yard has cost a pretty penny. Re cemented the cement pond, and redid all the concrete back there with some cool stamped patterned rose colored cement acouple years back. Got the cover. But that anever ending thing,, maintenance. What's next?? Oh thats right a roof....... And we have 3 on there now I think now so a completely new one, tear off and all. Oh well enough complaining.

Here's a fast peek inside... Not the best pictures, but there isn't much to see in there yet. Right now I have 8 of the Black Puppies and one GG4 from Feminized Seeds. I'm goig to add a Moonshine Haze next and maybe a Easy Kush I have vegging outside. The Black Dogs as fast out the gate. Alot faster than the GG4. And the GG4 is more on the taller side,, but still workable. I had to set the GG down on the floor. She easily doubled in height. Now the pups,, maybe 50%.. Like I always say,, you need to grow a strain acouple times to get it dialed in right. I did take a cut off the GG just incase it's something real. I hate that saying,,, ISHOULD'VETOOKACUT... I'm no sticker about a name of a herb,, it only has to be good. But here's a compairism;

and isn't a easy one around here, for someone to sneak in my yard. I don't have an attack dog anymore, I have watch dogs. Ankle bitters. And I'm not in the best shape to even have to scrap with someone,, so I'd let some 00-buck do it for me. And damn I sure hope that never happens. These critters do nothing but watch and listen 24/7. We are watching a friends while they shot off to Florida to go fishing.. Damn I wish I could go. Sucks when your feet don't like standing up for long. 15-20 minutes and I need to sit or lay back for afew. Maybe one day things will get abit better...but the black one is another of my Black DOGs.

A place that has alot of fond memories to me, but if you are going to move somewhere Oregon isn't a bad place to look into. I like it. Just has a sorry ass weather for a outdoor grower. hey woody your plants look good as usual you really got it down someday i will get there i mean it you've got a knack for growing,that gorilla is complety different from the one i grew i have two more started there growing more like yours the first one i did the nodes were so close together i could barley get a snip in there i vegged it for 6 weeks with lst and it was 10in tall after stretch it was 16in tall its very nice smoke stink up the room in a good way,i really like the your black dogs and you said it was potent one day I'm going to have to grow one of those there so beautiful when they put on there fall colors,and thanks for the comment i don't no what we will end up doing it's not to bad living here but it's getting very busy here and it's going to get worse we have cheap house payment which is a determining factor in the picture never no we could end up being neighbors i sure as hell could see us sitting around your pool sucking on a couple brews and some good smoke thats all today lol!
 
NP Sticky one... Rent is pretty scary here. A friend just bought an apartment, 'townhouse' for 250 Grand. And she has to follow Home Owners shit. I wood never buy an apartment, but it's pretty costy around here. Isn't shit for under 200 nowadays. Least here in town. You might do better some other parts of town.I've been here for 10 years, and I still don't really know my way around. Miss J is always riding shotgun so isn't any need for m to really remember anything, as far as directions.
Miss J just got home from surgery. She's had alot of curve balls with this Cancer. And she still has another surgery to go. And that one should be the last. She's getting the reconstruction surgery going on. They insert these balloons in and stretch the skin and mucles out to the size she's going for, then they insert the silicon or whatever they use. I've been telling her I'll get the bike air pump out and help. One thing about this,, Miss J will have the firmest tits on any woman her age. And she can go to pretty much whatever size she wants. Now the nipple reconstruction sounds pretty hard on one. All I care is she's cancer free. But that has to be a hard pill for her.. Miss J has always had a rather large and sshapely rack on her. That has to be hard on a woman. Imagine getting your dick cut off. Yikes.........

Ha, here in Aloha, 3bdr, 1500 sq ft goes for about 450,000. Rent is over 2K. Wages suck, its not like we are making more here, just paying more.

Yeah, the good side of town rent can get over 2500. And that 300k house was a dilapidated, outdated 700 sq ft 1-1 with no garage, just cracked concrete tire strips for a driveway.


For a diffetent perspective, I also saw a wood frame 2-1 no central heat or A/C on a 1/4 acre in Milpitas for 2.7mil

Last place I bought was a Tract Home out in Tracy. 4 Bdr2 bath, it was 300 and that was 94ish. Dates ,, I suck at. My Bday I've forgotten about more than once. And as much moving I've done in the past, it's hard to remember dates and places together. Shit I've lived from Fla to Oregon. I might have only passed thru alot of them states and hung my hat for a year or so but it's been along road... Shit I know where ya can get a nice house, 2-3 bdr for under 100k. Lots of them. Nice ones. Good peoples, geat hunting and fishing, hell even the only place you can look for diamonds and actualy have a chance of finding something. Iffin you don't mind mosquitos and alligators... That's what Deets for and the AC. You got to Stuttgart, SW to a place called Cascoe Arkansas........
