Exotix's Citrus Berry - Kimbo Kush X Orange Valley OG - these plants remind me of the Black Dog at this stage. Big ass tall plants then fatter and fatter and fatter ... and then big yields. No stakes yet... but I got a leaner! hahahaha I'll put a fan on the other side to hold her up!
Here's Devil's Tit @ 60 days ... she's looked like this for like 7 days.. just getting fatter. Sativa dom hybrid, should I just bite the bullet and chop? Getting worried about mold. Spring here and just had 2 days in the high 80's and RH up to 55% at night with thunderstorms middle of the night... pre summer weather already. This is the shit I worry about with mold. Should I chop .... I always wanna go longer for yields?

Wow, tasty cola for sure and starting to show some pretty colors... I do see acouple nice spears... Sorry Mister Brown, I been slacking alittle at keeping up on journals... But you know you can always come slap me upside the head... I myself wasn't much on the Dead.. Well I mean they have some great songs, but alot of their music I wasn't to keen on.. But Pink Floyd and Cooper,, now we talking... Alice does some great music. Desperado off Killer album... STEVEN... Back when all you had was albums. I still remember my first 8 track. That was the shit... Match book and all'.. A book of matches leveled out your tape so it didn't drag as much.. They lasted forever under my feet on the dirty ass floor boards of my truck, mud and all. Drain the beer you dropped on the floorboards out, let it dry, and play... I bet they still work.. Try that with a CD... But now I will make it a point to come over and see whats up... Keepem Green

Dried buds,, has to been that Purple Orange CBD plant.. if you go to Dinafem's site, the picture is stop on. Live plant,, man thats a hard one... Depends on the color..

Well that was fun peoples.. I get to give Miss J a new Magic Budder. We bought one when they were first coming out. Get unit. heavy duty motor and all.. Except our handle came loose the first month and broke free. Well I am from Arkansas and had some heavy ass duct/strapping tape. Well you get the idea;
Oh and here's a neat idea some might like,, we use cocconut oil instead of butter. Makes straining out alot easier, and the return is better. We put in in a pitcher and pour into individual servings. Little fruit cups, pudding cups, apple sauce most of them little things are 1/2. A hella lot eaier than get alittle later;
Some of the mother plants that I fell behind transplanting. Kind of root bound. So I loosed the rootball up before transplanting. Should be NP
And one more picture,, is my new Favorite strain, Black DOG. I plan on cutting her up in the next day or two;
I'll be updating abit more in aminute or two.. Hope alls doing great out there,,, and Keepem Green

I love a colorful strain, and I'm looking for a high CBD with color. I believe the Caryophyllene is higher in the purples, and it's a terp I actively seek. I'll have to look closer at this one.

I also prefer to make the oil with coconut oil as opposed to butter. I find butter too messy, for one, and much more expensive if I buy good butter instead of crap. I love the idea of the yogurt containers. Why didn't that ever occur to me?
How do you store them? Seal them with plastic wrap and pop in the fridge?

Do the colors only come out from cold temps?

Plants that turn colors have the gentetics to do that. But lower temps really bring out the colors. I'm sure someone out there knows alot more about why plant have the different colors. Here I found alittle read on it;
The reason some strains of marijuana turn purple is the same reason why some trees leaves turn colors in the fall, why red grapes are purple, why a blood orange is so red, why an eggplant is purple, why blueberries are blue, and why black raspberries are black. This phenomenon is caused by the occurrence of something known as anthocyanin accumulation which causes anthocyanin to build up within plants. While chlorophyll is what gives weed and plants in general their green color, anthocyanin is what makes weed purple, and carotenoid is what will make weed yellow or gold.
If your plant has the genetics which make it prone to anthocyanin accumulation, you can make it turn purple by dropping the temperatures in the growing environment down below 50 degrees Fahrenheit when the light is off. During flower you should be on a 12-12 cycle or something very close. Some plants will turn purple without such a drastic drop in temperatures, and like I said before, for some plants it just isn’t possible.

You know I had put acouple hundred away and was going to try a LED light in my mother tent. To see if I can keep temps down in an indoor come summer. But my controller went out. There went that monies,, But the sponsors donated one for that POTM. Which is a better unit than I was going to buy, so I guess I'm going to give it a try and see what they are about. I think they wood be great where you don't need the penteration or heat like in a tent. But I am looking forward to trying one. Might do a mini SOG in there. The tent is like 18"x30" 8 plants? We'll see. Hope alls good out there.. and gardens are green,, Keepem Green
