Wow, tasty cola for sure and starting to show some pretty colors... I do see acouple nice spears... Sorry Mister Brown, I been slacking alittle at keeping up on journals... But you know you can always come slap me upside the head... I myself wasn't much on the Dead.. Well I mean they have some great songs, but alot of their music I wasn't to keen on.. But Pink Floyd and Cooper,, now we talking... Alice does some great music. Desperado off Killer album... STEVEN... Back when all you had was albums. I still remember my first 8 track. That was the shit... Match book and all'.. A book of matches leveled out your tape so it didn't drag as much.. They lasted forever under my feet on the dirty ass floor boards of my truck, mud and all. Drain the beer you dropped on the floorboards out, let it dry, and play... I bet they still work.. Beer and bong water.. don't forget the bong water... back in the day driving around drinking beer and bong hits with the windows up so we didn't waste anything... wow.. Not sure what we were thinking. By bongs we were into glass back in the day like todays peeps are. Toker II FTW. One of the first if not the first really decent glass ....

Take a big hit of Thai Stick or Hawaiian bud and we'd go almost blind, drop the bong spill the water... of course we didn't have any water to put in the bong so we had to head back to town and get some water at the local 7-11.

8 tracks... wow.. actually there's some folks that still run them. High end gear too... they have a better sound that cassettes and actually are pretty close to LPs with sound quality. Talking high end gear here. I play records (LPs) almost every night. Our sit down puff time, throw on some LPs, kick back and puff, maybe have some beer or wine... life bro, all good.

All good on the Dead Woody.. I'm an old school hippie without long hair anymore. Less hassle and no problems with the Nazi Police either. We used to run around the country following the Dead. Some good .. make that some GREAT weed came from that scene and its still rolling on. Chemdawg I think is one .. there are several strains that got passed along on the road. Couple of seeds in a bag .... you know how it goes. Bag seed. FTW ya never know, right?

Man someone in my family threw out my collection of seeds from the 70s/80s/90s... I saved them all. Well not the brown Mexican shit. I think they still sell that shit down town. Prolly how blunts got started ... yuk. No go for me.

You know I had put acouple hundred away and was going to try a LED light in my mother tent. To see if I can keep temps down in an indoor come summer. But my controller went out. There went that monies,, But the sponsors donated one for that POTM. Which is a better unit than I was going to buy, so I guess I'm going to give it a try and see what they are about. I think they wood be great where you don't need the penteration or heat like in a tent. But I am looking forward to trying one. Might do a mini SOG in there. The tent is like 18"x30" 8 plants? We'll see. Hope alls good out there.. and gardens are green,, Keepem Green

Woodie what lamp are you getting??

FYI - LEDs are here and the tech is getting pretty darn good. I'm running VERO29 cobs which run SUPER cool. Plants can grow all the way to the lamp -3" and no burn. The penetration is great too.. you'd be surprised. These lights have come a long way even since I've been using them.

Not going to get the light of a 1K HID ... really that's like the sun is in the room and even more I think. The COB lighting is getting close tho, very close and NO to very very little heat. Good trade since I grow indoors all year round.

I'm in the process of moving away from the overseas made LEDs. Reason is in the power supplies. USA made gear seems to have better power supplies and A LOT LESS HEAT. You wouldn't think thats a big deal. In my VEG room I switched out to all COB Vero29s .. it's a small room and covered in silver insulation, used to get pretty warm in there starting this time of year with the older LEDs. With the Vero29s I have no excess heat at all. Perfect growing temps highs in the 70s...

Congrats on the plant and nug of the month ... was that the Black Dog gear??

I myself don't smoke alot so it wood last me forever. I ro;; 2 zig zags a night on the average, atad over a gram. Now Miss J she smokes like a freight train. And the people I caregive for'. It does go fast. The Black DOG is going straight personal.. And that means me, Miss J, her son. I need to get off my ass and take cuts soon.. You can bet I will be taking afew cuts of that DOG.. I threw them C99 X BB seeds on less than 24 hours ago and they all cracked and I planted tonight in soil. I had the temp at 82 degrees and 22 hours later'. All 3. The tip of the tap root died on the paper towel and I didn't think she'd make it, but I've watered her everyday and once added alittle''' Rapid Start to the water with a myko watering. These LEDs are really the nuts. I have the GS1000 watt n it's made in China.. don't know if it runs hot compared to other LEDs. Never had another one before... I can say for certain that it's way less hot than the 600 HID. Lemme tell ya though... It is sure making them grow good. Real good.

Awesome for you and even more so that you didn't have to pay for the new light...

Thanks Ditch.. I did a half ass trim on that. Miss J tightened it up. All 3 c-99Xbb are up. And I started two more that cracked and just went in dirt, a Tahoe Star, and a Early Miss auto. I been getting acouple plants ready and tiime to cut acouple clones. I have a strain called Galaxy that needs up potting. What I read is this Black DOG works for a 1st of Oct harvest. That wood be hella cool. I need a MONSTER of it. I call a good yield, 4-6 oz off a plant. This one is under 4. closer to 3 but worth it. I've looked at other Balck DOG plants and they seem to have a tighter bud,, more like a regular bud. These are fluffy... Oh well I'm outta here... Keepem Green

Well, a little update. I'm trying to get my shit together for what I'm going to do this year, outside. Been so many disappointments growing here outdoors. I don't think I'm going to get any clones this year from up the hill. Once bitten,,, but I still have one Miss J wanted to keep. Crippled Rino. And I'll guarantee she's going to be a monster. Well barring any problems again with her. But here's part of what I got started out there.I didn't name em but acouple, mainly a blue dream, I'm worried are going to make a problematic plant,, or high maintenance is what I really mean. She's a big start, and I plan on doing some racial 'pruning' to keep her smaller. I don't wannt a runaway plant that can't support itself.

I can see the C-99 being a problem too. I need to get back with afew old fat leaf indo types,, BTW Con, one of them UD's looks spot on in that department, fact all 4 look pretty nice. They got a good start under a 300 watt CFL. I'll get a pic in a acouple days. I think you'll like what you see. But to the yard. We have a extra couple hours of CFL to keep them from flowering.

also had to get busy.. I'm later than shit,, but. I been using vitagrow forever it seems for clones. I've had great results,, as long as temps are right..;

I have to show everyone something bad about Wood's Doghouse.. I had a limited place to put it.And if I took down the shrubs I'd have no privacy. But it shades the allready scarce sunlight we get around here,, you get leggy spouts. And a half shaded greenhouse don't do well. Once the plants get acouple foot tall, they do better in partial sun. I'll have to weed thru the plants I have going. I have afew seeds just started also. And I still need acouple.. I'm babbling, here's the partial greenhouse;

Bad luck has hit the grow room all at once. That controller goes out,, and I hear a hum in there tonight.. Damn dehumidifier is screwed...Well, least the room will get well-deserved maintenance. and some new crap. And I couldn't have asked for a better time atleast . And that old unit lasted a good while, close to 10 years nonstop,, well on the thermostat anyways. Last plant, that Candy is still going at 70 days and done. I have 3 small plants in there I don't really care either way if they make it. It's was shutdown time in there. I still had acouple weeks I think before it get hot. Oh well..
