Wow lost all I just typed,,, and takes me a second to type anything... But I was saying,, my good luck streak with germination rates can to a end.. Been awhile since I lost a seed.. My last tray had a Muay Thai, Number !, and a Chaze super auto's. Well, they all cracked,, but the Chaze never showed herself after planting. And the Muay Thai, well her first set of of three leaf,, lacked half. And didn't show a terminal top period... I kind of figured she's a cull is action.. But she's been a compensating in a very interesting way. A new terminal top from the cotyledons. Sorry not the best pic but;
I have to say, somewhere I read peoples looking for ways to keep the seed identified.. I use the wet paper towel and plastic wrap on a china plant. But if I'm doing 2 or 3 or 5 seed,, I use a perminate maker to mark the the section of paper towel I placed the seed at before wetting and folding the wet paper towel to cover and wrap it up in plastic wrap.
After I wet it to saturation, I wrap it to keep it wet and 100% humidity. Then you need alittle warmth. I picked up a digital thermometer of E-B-y. Nice little units in a garden period. But I place my plate ontop of one of my smallest light hoods. That is if the temps work out.. I might use my cable box, they are good sometimes.. But after your plate heats on it's source and remains at a steady temp,, I like 82-88,, somewhere close. For fine adjustments,, I add a paperback book or something. Check again in a half hour.. NEVER get them hotter,, or you'll have popcorn''
