Our Ongoing Grows

Thanks Jon. I never had the pleasure to smoke Bubba before, unless it's one of them unnamed great dubie that someone had pulled out their pocket in the past. But really just about any weed seed of good stock can be grown into a great plant. Who know maybe I'll get enough seeds and be able to start 20-30 plants and do alittle shopping for a mother. Hey sounds good.
Well tonite I hung the last 2 flowers off the skunk for the seed. Oh I also stuck that A-Haze plant under the screen. Here's a last pic before she went under;
A-Haze_21.JPG

She's allready filled alot of the area. But her limbs are extremely bendable. That will sure make it alot easier to work with. I can see this is going to be fun. And I don't doubt it one bit, that I'll have to put a second screen across it in about 3, 4 weeks.
Ok I was out taking some of the kids out for a walk tonite so I got acouple more pic'. I tell ya,,,, looking at my Paki-Ryder, she looks like she's trying to go back into veg mode. WTF I got enough of those problems outside. She's been under a 20/4 lite cycle along with the rest of my veg tent. She's started producing 3 leafers, and some 1 leafer to. Might be normal, but, She was starting to stack on alittle size at first. Now that's slowed to a crawl? Well here's a pic;
P-Ryder_2_.JPG

I know that pic didn't show alot cept how 'bare' she looks ontop. Here's another angle;
P-Ryder2.JPG

Here's one I think might work. She's 100% Indo from paradise seeds called Spoetnik#1. I want to see what kind of main cola she can produce so I didn't top her. She finishes in 7-8 weeks which is nice around here for the outside grows. Got her in my normal growing medium 'Black Gold' with afew goodies amended in, 4 gallon pots, under 20/4 with a 600 watt MH. Everything inside feeds on
technaflora fert's. Outside I use mircle grow, when flowering I'll be using that mircle grow flower fert they have. I go threw alot of water outside. Ok back to the plant at hand Spoetnik #1, I had to look up how to spell that one;
Speotnic.JPG

And I got a OG Kush plant. Man she's a pretty bush. She responded really great to toppings. I mean great. Some spots she started three branches where I topped her. Stout, strong branched, fat dark leafs, sh looks like she'll stay short too;
OG_Kush11.JPG

Here's another contender. She might work into a outside girl. NL X BB. I need to look up her parents, alittle research on them. But she's a fast grower. And she seems to handel topping real well. Here she is;
NL_X_BB1.JPG

Well that's it for now. I hope things are rolling great for everyone out there.
Keepem Green

Beautiful looking plants..that FIM and Topping is going to give you some great yields...that Paki-Ryder is in re-veg mode...i got a couple thats putting out 5 bladed leaves..thats ok about the reveg..she doesn't stretch much and i got 3 months + before i cut..i would say with me everything is going good...JK clones are ...right now...3 times the size of their mother who was my inside grow...i will certainly be doing a outside re-veg next summer...might try a inside re-veg..definately increases bud sites and keeps height down...:goodjob:

Not much a pic here but you can get a idea what I have planed here. I really hope I will have need of that second screen. I can see this grow getting outta hand fast here. Well, we are off to the rodeo;
Off_to_the_rodeo_2_.JPG

Well kind of cleaned the last seeded buds. I had seeded two medium to small sized buds. 100-150 seeds. And fact they are viable. I got 3 so far peeking out above ground;
Seeds49.JPG

Thought we could peek at the Smile. Dude this is a sweet plant fast and powerfull. I tell ya she can knock ya on your ass for sure. Close to some of the strongest I've grown. And turns out some product also.
Well here's a bud shot or two;
Smile16.JPG

I can see another 2 weeks till she's about done. Well here ya go;
Smile_2_4.JPG

And that Tangerine Dream from Barneys' ;
T-D4.JPG

Ok here's a stand bye in my gardens. Fast strong plant called Vantage. Anyone want a good plant I'll preach this one. She fast like 42-49 days depending on the grower. Killer solid buds and great yield if you give her that extra week in the veg tent. I think if I had one turn over plant it wood be her. She greats soooo mush crystals her leaves roll upward and sparkle.
Vantage_2_1.JPG

and another;
Vantage19.JPG

Well thats it from here for the minute. I hope everyone gardens are doing goood. Keepem Green

Don't ask me about Scrog's. This is my first rodeo also. Just makes sense. This even canopy uses lite alot better. I've never been one to worry about things like Grams per watt, but for a plant such as this haze, it should help keep the plant from becoming unmanageable. This plant turns into a monster.
Plant as big as I started flowering, could be 10' plus by finish time. Thats anyways wood be to big for my grow ceiling. This should keep it down to a respectable 4'. Least I hope close to that. I tell ya, I've been seeing alot of 'snot' on some outside plants around the house. Just a bubble of this wierd slimey nasty looking mucus. Well inside the mucus is this;
Bug4.JPG

I haven't been able to figgure out what this thing is. I did find one on one of my weed plants.
That Paki is defenently revegging. WTF this is a auto flower. Well I decided to put it into the flower room under 12/12 regiment. I really like to leave my auto's under a 20/4 regiment. Makes for tighter flowers but this one isn't behaving like that.
Welcome Deege420. Welcome to my nightmare.
Well I'll update again later tonite. Keepem Green

Hey Alaskan, Learn from me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,???????????????????? Blind leading the blind. Should be fun. I can imagine when this plant starts doing it's thing, the branches will be sticking out of the net with about 2 1/2 ft. So I'll need a second screen for sure. This will be
'Very Interesting' to say the least.
Them snot bugs are mainly on a flower outside. I sprayed everything with some organicide junk. It knock all the snot out of them bug. I don't think they will eat mites. But it's sure some slimy stuff. I got a semi decent pic of it before spraying. I have so far only found one of these on the herb plants. Here's they bug in question;
Snot1.JPG

Well I killed the Sativa looking cripit. It wasn't what I wanted. But the 36 day one I want to keep alive. Miwa is cloning plants that are in flower and they seem to be doing well. I always heard that when a Plant starts flowering,it concentrates 100% on flowers. But like I said you got they rooted while flowering. Cool. Miwa I can tell ya all this revegging isn't the best on the plants. From what I understand, all this stress might make plants turn hermie. Revegging has to be one of the most stressful things a plant can endure. I had acouple go thru this last year. And once the plants started vegging it came out a good plant.
Well I'm not really going to reveg plants for my landscaping job. I have a new replacement for the Wonder Woman we grew last year with Spoetnik. Very pretty plant. I didn't top this one. It might be a new cane for Miss J to play with. I just sprayed her and transplanted her to a finish pot. Pot is like a 15 gallon pot. Plenty big to finish up in. She flowers in 7 weeks. And suppose to finish in mid september Here she is the day I put here outside;
Spoetnik_11.JPG

Heinterestingresting plant. From Eva I think. Poison;
Poison.JPG

Here's that P-91 from Stoney Girl. I haven't been able to sex this plant yet. As big as she is, she aint telling shit. Well just incase, I started 2 more. Beautiful Indica plant. Stout, huge fat leaves, and a study stem. I got my fingers crossed on this one. I had two this size but one fliped male. Needless to say it's in the recycle bin. Here ya go;
P-916.JPG

This is that LA Connie I have out there. She is another I put out that didn't premature flower. Sure they reveg, but you lose alot of time that the plant could've been vegging instead of having to go threw all that changes that come with revegging. I'm going to have to finish this plant inside;
LA_Connie.JPG

Ok I did get afew pic's of the Cripit I want to revert back into veg. She hasn't grown a inch since she started flowering. I'd bet 10 to 1 that this plant could go straight into the flower room and not miss a beat, Cripit;
Cripit6.JPG

And another;
Cripit_2_3.JPG

I could probely finsh that plant in 3 weeks inside. But she's on the back burner till she's back growing new leaves. I am going to cut like 30 clones off her and do a SOG with her. She did finish in 36 days and was good smoke. Of the cripit's I grew out this one was hella stronger smoke. And was sticky-ichy pot. The other took longer 50 days I think.
Well I'm having to look for a cage for a squirrel. We got one that must have fallen and broke a ear drum or something. We call him
'Fall's Alot'. We've watched him fall out of trees ad her cant stand without falling over. Equalibrium must be screwed up. Miss J' wants to nurse him back and save him from the cats. Funny he hears another squirrel bark a warning acouple houses over and he wastes no time finding a place to be safe. Miss J broke up a cat trying to tear Fall's Alot a new asshole.
Well I'll update in awhile. Thanks everyone for tripping thru and checking up on my grow. All,,,,,,,,, Keeepem Green

The garden looks awsome as usual wood .. Bummer a bout the slime bugs ... I'd put the haze in the center of the Screen and put the strings 1" apart a weave branches threw holesRoorRip

Looks like a spittle bug to me.
Signs of a spittle bug infestation

The tell tale sign of spittle bugs is plant foam. This plant foam will normally appear in the where the leaf attaches to the stem or where two branches meet. It will look like white foam, a pile of bubbles or a big gob of spit.

Is a spittle bug damaging to plants?

Other than looking unsightly, spittle bugs do very little damage to a plant. They do suck some of the sap from the plant, but rarely enough to harm the plant. The plant foam serves mostly to hide the adult and immature spittle bugs.

Organic or homemade insecticide for spittle bugs

When looking for an organic spittle bug killer, you must keeping mind that you are looking for something that will not only kill the spittle bug but will repel further infestation.
A garlic or hot based organic or homemade insecticide for spittle bugs works well. You can do a double whammy with the following organic and homemade insecticide for spittle bugs.

Organic spittle bug killer recipe

1/2 cup hot peppers, diced
6 cloves garlic, peeled
2 cups water
2 teaspoons liquid soap (without bleach)

Puree peppers, garlic and water together. Let sit for 24 hours. Strain and mix in the liquid soap. Wipe the plant foam off the plant and spray all parts of the plant.

Now that you know a little more about spittle bugs you know what bug leaves white foam on plants and what you can do to stop it.:peace:

Thanks BC You know what you hit the nail on the head. That bug is called Froghopper, AKA Spittle Bug. They sure turn into some pretty little insects but one ugly little nest the larva live in. I did spray them with that Organicide stuff and it dissipated their nest and washed the bugs away. Or so it looked, 20 minutes later they were re frothing the stems on Miss J's flowers. They look happier after the spray. Well BC you hit the nail on the head with your call, so I'd kind of figure that wood be a good recipe to kill the buggers. Right on hand tho I lack the hot peppers. 10 to 1 Tabasco will fit the need. Maybe atad less them what you called for. Well couldn't hurt to try a spot with it tomorrow. Oh here's the little buggers; Froghopper - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Thanks again.
Well Jon, I did put the Arjan Haze in the Scrog. I started it tw,three days ago. And tonite, man, I looked at it, and sure looks like a problem. Looks like something hopefully, just a simple extra shot or two of Cal Mag will cure. I feed my plants with Technaflora Fert's. I throw in 5 mil per gal of Cal-Mag, and 5 mil per of Silica. Alittle molasses to round it out. Flower fertilizer runs about 1250ppm, while veg runs around 700 ppm. PH 6.5. But here's what I got;
005807.JPG

You can see the problem in the center. I got a better pic outside the flower room;
Ca1.JPG

Around the edges and abunch of gold colored spots on the leaves. And just a unheathy color overall. But hopefully the supplement CaMag will fix her right up.
Miwa, you know you got 'Plenty' of time for them plants to right themselfs out. One nice thing is you got a great root sytem to support that big plant ontop of it. And chances are slim of hermies I'd imagine. As long as you let mother nature do the light changes. Everything Mother Nature does is so slow the plant won't hardly notice all the changes going on it its life. You aren't going to have any problems. Cept maybe finding enough jars to cure your herbs in. Alittle manipualting branches is good for a plant.
Drive thru anytime Pop's you know your always welcome here. I need to get bye your site and see whats up in a minute. Thanks all for driving thru and seeing whats up. I hope the best for all. Keepem Green

Hey there IGG. Hope lifes doing you great over there. Well you won't hurt my feelings about wasted real estate. I do have that Bubbleious on my list. Think I'll flip me a order real real soon. I see you having great results with it. And the Vantagge so we have something to compair. As nice as Vantage is, I can see the same in the bubbleious.
Well the topic of this update is my Paki-Ryder. She's a auto flower from Worldof Seeds. She started out with a bang. Flowering at somewhere about 15-17days. She started to fill in nicely then out of the blue bang she jumps out there at the terminal top. I don't mean with flowers, but with stretch. She looks to me to be revegging. I guess I need to go re read up on Sisco's grow. He just flipped one.
Well I started her under a MH with a 20/4 lighting. I veg all my babies under a 20/4 regiment. I believe plants do most of their growing at night. 4 hours of darkness seems to do alot better than 24/0. I have tried tha before, works but plants didn't seem as green and lush. Ok she been fed same as all, Technaflora, Black Gold soil, and water running 6.9 tap water. I took these pic's tonite;
P-Ryder3.JPG

Well after she started to look all weird, I placed her under the 12/12 of my flower room. Hopefully she'll not get to demented and go all hermie on me. I loved the way this plant was growing. It was standard X-mas tree look. Heathly, that's for sure. Maybe this lite will get her flowering again quickly. Here's what the top looks like, you can really see she's balding ontop. Alot worse then I am. But I mine won't grow back damnit. Ok lookie and see;
P-Ryder_2_1.JPG

Isn't that scary???????????
Ok on a better note. I had started a seed for a friend. Which really breaks my code. I never grow for others. I might start a seed or cut and root some clones, but I never grow a plant into flowering for someone. I've grown a plant out before and had someone pick a seed or pick a name, then after it's grown think they should get the weed??????? Hell I tell them once it starts flowering it's mine. It's just I don't want him sticking this auto out till sun shines for acouple days. Been raining lately. Imagine that rain here? Suppose to clear up real soon tho. Then he can transplant it between acouple tomatoes he has growing. It will be his first grow and it's going to be derectly in the ground. I'm not sure which strain as it can in a mixed bag of 10 from Budda Seeds. She's a sharp little plant;
L-Ryder.JPG

I've just started 4 more seeds from that mix.
Ok one more real fast. It's a Cheese plant from Dianfem. I'm not going to top her and see what kind of main cola she'll produce. Cheese;
Cheese17.JPG

Well that's it for now. Keepem Green
