Here's another pretty I finished last grow. A Holy Grail Kush
Great plant. Fine smoke. But I think the Mind Cantrol is abit better...
Thanks for coming bye everyone... Dutchess,, TGA has some great strains... I've heard great things about the 9 pound hammer,, and you can't go wrong with Jack and Jillz. I haven't grown any out inside,,, but I did a monster outside afew years back.

It's one of the better pills the pharma co. come up with for some of the bad side effects of pain pills.

Thanks Ditchweed... Everytime I see your ID it reminds me of living in Ind. and finding my first ditchweed field.. Everyone always told me about the hemp fields of WW2. In WW2 you were exempt from the draft if you grew hemp. Hemp for victory program. The government even furnished the seeds. We use to import all our hemp and jute products from like the Philippines and thereabouts.. But Japan stopped all that. So we grew our own. And the patato and corn fields in Ind. were perfect for hemp. Good book to read,, 'The Emperor Wears No Clothes'. By Jack Herer.
But when I walked down the railroad tracks behind the house out plinking with a 22. I came across a field with plants so big,, man some were 18' tall,, COVERED with small buds,,, LOADED with seeds. Being 16 years old,,, I thought I found a gold mine.. My minds turning thinking 10$ per oz. Going price for mexican brick weed of the times, So I filled a truck up with plants and hung the things in the barn. Gave ya a headache was all it can do smoking it I found out. Stupid me got caught with like 50+ pounds after bringing it to Cali. 17 years old,, and got 1 year in Santa Rita back in 77'. Wasn't a good place for a 17 year old 'Redneck Kid'. I lied about my age and my Dad agreed. I wanted to be able to smoke a cigarettes is why. Back in 77 that place rocked and rolled. I ended up getting shot with one of them Beanbag shotguns. They had a big race war break out while in there. Anyways I ended up getting a sheriff parole after about a month. Man I did some stupid things as a kid. Hell and as adult too though. Shit I still do stupid things............. Keepem Green

Great looking Holy Grail pics. Real nice colors. Did you like it? Potent? I remember "headache weed" too. Some desperate times back then we'd smoke anything. Now we're spoiled growers with the best & so many strains we can't get to them fast enough. Times have definitely changed for the best. Amen to that.

You got it Brightlights.... Sooo many strains,,, so little time.................. That HGK rocked. Super knock your dick in the dirt type. Least what feedback I've gotten. But even the people who LOVED the HGK,, flipped for the Mind Cantrol. I still have 3-4 strains I haven't really tried out yet. Janets Jem, Jack Herer, Blue City Diesel, and the Super Cheese. I mean I smoked a doobie but not seriously sampled yet... But the HGK was a good big yielder of rock hard buds. I forgot the yield I had off 9 of them last grow.... Well the grow before last.
Got afew starting to come into their own in there now. A Blue Dream and Money Maker.. Well I got 11 in flower now.. All Different strains.

Funny tattoos,,,,, in all my time, with the people I use to run with, all my 'down time' and I had a cellie, a guy named Bill Liberty for almost a year. Anyone into tats around North Sacramento, well older peoples I guess, knows of his work. He was in all them magazines and everything. Great artist.
He use to pimp me out,, JK, but I'd switch ID's with someone for the night and they wood get worked on.. Breakfast time we switch back. Yet I did design a tat to cover my entire back,, but never did it. Or any tats. Like you said, scars are like tats,, and we got our shares... Keepem Green

That pollen does fly and I live close to the border.
Every now and then on bike rides as a kid we would find some plants growing in the ditch.
Probably someone got spooked and threw their bag of weed and seed out the window.
A ditchweed is born.

Now hemp is used to extract CBD bigtime, so it all figures in the end, but now we know so much more than in the past.

Speaking of pollen,,,, one thing about weed saving the world,,,, well hemp,,,,,,, is just that. Pollen blows ALONG ways. And FAR AWAY. Some of the bread basket or some of the corn belt,, one day, pretty soon, is going to be growing hemp. Everyone's crop within MILES is going to get pollinated with bunk pollen. To me that's a scary thing. Alot of outdoor grows are going to be history. And that pollen lives for awhile... Kind of the reason I really wanted to see if that one plant, 'Mother Superior' from Stoney Girl Gardens was the real thing. I lost mine to hemp mites earlier this year. Well this plant, is a strain he's had for awhile,, and it won't pollinate. Here's a link,

Clone only, I do think I got my mites from them, I lost all their plants this year,,, except half a Pit Bull I saved,, btw was pretty good pot. But Mike had some idiot working his grows,,, and I'm sure that's where... I felt sorry seeing he clones in a walk in closet off his veg room. And it's a big veg room. Maybe 50 strains the he sells. I'd imagine they all got infected. And his flower room. And hes got a good sized flower room with like 18-20 HPS lights going with a bank of 8 MH dropped here and there in the center. If you ever look up stoney girls,, I woodn't pay attention to the flowering times,,, I have had some that were REAL fast,,, my Cripit was. I've have to look and guess how many days in flower she is. I've harvested at 52 days before, and at 49 too, which is respectable awhere. I've had people say it's too strong before. The P91 they have is a real heavy hitter. I think they claim 35 days or something. But they do have some strains that grow great hear. And come in the end of Sept or Oct 1st.. Which is when our rains start and bud rott rears her ugly face, and PM dusts your leaves white fungus dust. His strains are finished. Back in my gallery I have pics of alot of his strains that I grew out sucessfully outdoors

Cool Mr JGrow.... I get lost with a damn computer.................. I had a friend set up mine. Everytime I start a new grow,, this is the 4th I think,,, I just delete the writing and replace with it's new name....
I'm going to start thinking of spring again.. LOL we got tons of snow,,, everywhere. Still and will have for abit it seems... But I'm going to have to go to your past there Con.... And take a look at what those seeds acted like. Can you tell me the parenting. Hope things are going good for ya out there.. Hey for real,,,, if you buy any seed,,, try the Mind Cantrol... Naw wait, it was a 10 weeker... We'd never get a good crop outside... Your about the same as me as far as time frames...
Well off to bed. Got to brave the roads tomorrow for a cross town trip before I run totally out of meds..Thats not fun. Bout a 25 mile trip to find one of the few doctors that will work with Medical Marijuana and scrips. Before I had the morphine pump in my gut,, and wasn't but two doctors that wood work with me. In all Portland.. He's one. Well babbled more than enough tonight. Keepem Green

I was looking at the Holy Grail and I noticed it still has white hairs but yet all the trics are cloudy seems like so its done??? This is whats meant by finding the breeders recommendation or get used to the strain yourself and go by the days?? I wonder if any Amber on the Holy Grail?? Did she still have white hairs and show some Amber???? Again I can see theyre cloudy.
Looking back at all your most recent pics NCW I see white hairs on all but cloudy trics. Any Amber???
Im trying to figure harvest. My minds set on ALL red hairs curled and no white hairs, 30% amber but I can see thats not the case. Its looking like you harvest when mostly all are cloudy no matter what the hairs are doing? It depends on the strain and get used to growing it and find out? again, Im trying to learn hen to harvest. Ive got a 63 year old friend (gave me the lights) squeezed a bud hanging from the tent and said..."two more weeks!" Fuck Will two more weeks, they went 100 days! He says " I dont care, two more and theyd be more stickyier to the touch" WTF!

Yep Ultra Dog is Aurora Ultra x Chemdawg '91/NYCD. The first strain is the mother (OG Kush/MK Ultra x Aurora Indica) made in 2002 mostly with SoCal clones, the father is a private cross by Soma himself that came to my buddy (he's based in Santa Clarita valley) in seed form in 2015. I can get him to tell you the full story here if you need to... well I think so at least. The strain has plenty of phenos that are partly excellent, partly decent and rarely below expectations. Should finish by 3rd/4th week of September on 45N. Can grown indoor too, I have a friend from NOLA who's about to finish her in hydro, and it grows very well so far

Well Dutchess,,, alot of things come into play harvest time. First off,, I never found any plant true to its harvest time. The amount of light, the CO2 content in the air, the food, the root ball size. Alot. The times given for flowering in a perfect world... If you see on that pic there still are some white hairs yes,,, but about 80% are browned out. There will always be afew white hairs as long as shes in flower,,. I look at the hairs and the trichomes. Along with the time frame. The trics on her were all cloudy,, with one or two ambers thrown in, but she was 90% browned out. I've grown plants that the tric's never turn amber. But the tric's were 90 swollen looking to pop,, but then afew start to shrivel and die. Well really they are degrading into CBD's. Once pot hits it's peak, light speeds the degradation of the trics. I'm not sure to what extent and what all it becomes but I do know a certain part becomes CBD. So harvest?? Something you'll got to find out. You have the guidelines.. Takes growing acouple flips. But your friend saying take acouple more weeks.... I think ya did good... Just be careful with them seeds, chances they will express the same thing again...

I was looking back about the IDW story,, Indiana Ditchweed,, and thought I'd also say I did have abunch of old Lumbo seeds which I broadcasted along a prime ditch back then. Thought some fresh genetics wood help that gene pool. But then I never went back.. But I don't know if anyone looked at that strain.. Imagine growing this in the middle of a hemp field. If it really worked. I bet even if you got caught harvesting,, either the cops wood laff at you,, or you could tell them you wanted to make your own hemp oils.. Ok I did get acouple chuckles outta Family Guy.. And I was smoking the Red LT.. My rating,,, outta 10,,, she's a solid 8.25.. I do have to say this,,,, I've never smoked a 10,,, and never will.. That wood take all the fun outta it woodn't it? Ok I lied earlier.... I'm still awake, and I did get afew new pics to post. I'm not sure of the start dates,,, but it's way to early to even worry about that. But here's the Black DOG I have going. She's so tight in node spacing that she has to be thinned of sunleaves just to hit the main colas. Isn't a plant anyone wood want for a SCROG for sure. She didn't stretch enough to develop any cola heads. Still she's frosting up nicely;

Here's another from that Strain Hunters seed. Called Money Maker. So far she's a pretty plant. Growing just like the Incredible Bulk did. So far she's been a great growing girl,,, no complaints so far;
