Our Ongoing Grows

Good morning NorCali, thanks for the help you've been giving me, I wish I had a master grower close to me that I could learn from under their wing like you. Are you familiar with the techniques of fluxing/main-lining? I was wondering if they could be used to tame 100% Sativas from being unruly monster's in a 4x3x6 tent.

Razie,, just a fast word for ya,, if you haven't been by this Dudes thread, you should. Alot of people on here do that LST or Flux as it's called, with great results. It works great for tents where height and canopy level for light penetration can be an issue. He has acouple real cool Frankenstein experiments going on. Worth looking at for sure. He's even grafting mega strains grafted on one root.

Dutches, back when I first was growing, I didn't even know what a trichome was. I was taught to wait till the hairs started to 'brown out', meaning the hairs where 3/4 dying off and turning brown. I saw yours yesterday and looked 100% ripe to me. Funny when your buds brown out', the trichomes are generally cloudy with some amber mixed in. Most of the stuff this 'old hippy'taught me were right. Dude knew his shit. Now reading alot on the net only serves to prove the things he said and taught were true. He had a nice little place in
Lake County Ca. where he use to grow pretty good size grows back in the mid 70's of 'red haired sensie' that rocked. And was the first time I saw a purple plant, and I was hooked on growing, and have been ever since. Such a pretty plant. Well off to Laa Laa Land Keepem Green

Thanks Wood.
I hear Clear Lake is full of growers now. What a nice area! Great fishing and concerts at Konakti Harbor too! Seen Sammy Hagar there and the roadies let me eat their buffet with them! Was a great show.
The primary strain I bred into was Blue Dream and just read where its a 10 week strain indoors so that kinda means mid Oct. So Im guessing its right on schedule. some a lil early, right on time and a lil late. Will probably pick some more today.
I gots to go trim now, what fun!!!!!!!
Norcaliwood, Im sending friend requests so I can remember who to go to. although your hard to forget I hope you accept. Will include many more.
Time to trim some into jars!!!!!!!~
Happy Harvest!!

Thanks for the tip NorCali, LA has been doing some fantastic shit with fluxing, I just didn't want to pop one of my only two Acapulco Gold seeds on the whim that I can handle the stretch and bring her to harvest. My first attempt at a pure Sativa blew me away and I wasn't able to bring her to harvest with all the problems I encountered.

Konakti Harbor wasn't there then of course. I even had to look it up on the web. I was there in the early-mid 70's. All the pot farmers were way underground. And most were producing low-grade pot, except afew that new what sensie was and how to produce it. This guy I learned from was even doing hydro back them. He even use to 'spank' his girls with a rolled up newspaper. Said the simulation helps plants grow.
You know Raziel alot of strains aren't made to grow in tents unless you rule them with an iron fist. You'd have to do anything in your power to keep it shorter in height. I'm not sure how much experience you have in that yet. But alot of them Sativa's are better grown after you practice on some shorter indica's or hybrid plants. I've had my share of
'run away' plants. Alot of lst'ing and topping is in order. GL and Keepem Green

Just a fast update, without pic's, but I will get some up real soon. But as far as the garden grows, it's time to think about what's going on next? Most of the flower room was started Oct 1st. And all I have in the veg tent right now is a Blue City Diesel, and that revegged Cripple Rhino, and a Deliha Friend, that's tap root started all curled up, which she's paying for with SLOW growth. I was keeping her alive incase I wanted clones which wood be fine from her, even with her stunted root development. SOOOOOO anyways, I think it's time to get busy with some fresh blood. Me as cheap as I am, bought single seeds so cross your fingers.......... First a Blue Dream from HSO. I'm hoping I started her early enough to be able to get 6 clones for half the room. Then another from HSO, Black D.O.G., which we are going to name Jax after the rat dog we have. Good looking strain, least by their descriptions. But we all know they can sure make a plant sound fantastic. And one more, a Purple Orange CBD seed. Suppose to be a 1 to 2 ratio THC/CBD. I have yet to grow one of these high CBD plants. Guess I always read that 5% THC value compared to a 20%. I know all the good things CBD's are supposed to do so I figure it was a freebie so why not? My seed stash box was running outta room. And Miss J wants to buy me some more seeds for my Birthday. But I'm going to have her wait a minute longer. Least till I find a larger stash box.......... Keepem Green

Spanking!!! Oh man LMAO :laughtwo:

Well, spanking kind of stimulates them like the wind does. Help strengthen up the girls with thicker stems etc. Thanks for looking in everyone. Miss J just got back from the 'Dope Cup' here in Portland Oregon. She said she was disappointed. She really liked the THC Fair they had here last month. I didn't feel like going myself and had a quiet B-day here. I'm getting old and I've been feeling it. I made a mistake and don't remember which is which and they are about the same age,,,, so I'll just put them up. I have 3 strains from Dr Krippling, That Red Lecertease?, a Mind Cant'rol, and an Incredible Bulk is in there. An 8-ball Kush, which looks like the fastest on the draw. And I think a Jack Herer.. Well, your guess is as good as mine. I can tell what they are once they go up but what good is that? So I'll just say Plants;

Hope all's doing great out there and Keepem Green

doesn't matter brotha they all look good
the main thing is they all smoke good :thumb:

Whatever the heck they are, they look perfect! :thumb:

Happy Halloween everyone. Where the hell you been Cisco? Hope life is treating you good. Things are the same here,,, cept heath issues for me and Miss J. We both were diagnosed with C. My hasn't been localized yet, I'll find out more after a Pet scan which is happening next week. Is what it is.
But things here are good. Weeds are growing like a weed. As should be. Harvest should be, barring problems, the first of Dec. I have 12 plants in flower, and there are 10 different strains going.
Thanks all for taking a peek in, and I'll get afew better pics up in awhile. Lots of kids here tonight. Wonder how many bags of candy we are going to go thru this year. Holidays are for kids, and our little residential neighborhood is crawling with them tonight. I just can't stand when 'kids' like 17-18 years old come say treat or treat without a costume. I run them fools off. Well everyone I hope all have a safe holiday. Be safe and whatch out for rugrats out there. Keepem Green

Sorry to hear the health news. Best of luck. You both will beat it!

I second the oil. You can mix it with coconut oil, and use it this way. But it depends a lot on the type you have. My buddy from SoCal has been using it for 3 yrs, and they gave him 3 months after they diagnosed it. You're gonna pull through, man.

My cat scan two weeks ago showed a spot on my lungs and have to have another in 6mo. I think my days of smoking are numbered I like the MOTOCO? oil I read about that you drink and wonder the collectives here provide it. Youd think theyd make an elixir like Nyquil where you take a few oz. and all is well. I can see myself with an outside burner and cooking my own one day since you can drink it. I like the Alcohol instead of solvent but I dont know too much about it except my experience of smoking solvent based wax I dont like.
Keep your chin up Wood
