Our Ongoing Grows

Hey hey. That was a great read and what better place to try it then on a plant I can trash with the garden hose after,,,,,,, works for me. I sprayed it today and we'll see how it goes. We also have some lilac that has it also. And it's rite at the front door. I know fact it get's big and pants brush it daily. I sprayed everything. But I'll wait acouple days and try the wash. Scary thing washing buds. I can see it maybe alittle ways into flower, like up to 4 weeks. Hey can't hurt and be a great experiment. I can rise it as hard as needed.
Jon I will overcome. Sure looks ugly tho don't it.
Jandre2k3 dam, I had a hard time spelling that, jk. I did invest in a mushroom that's suppose to filter down to mold spores. I hope the don't edit this I think it's ok but this is what I picked up for the filter;
Hydrofarm - Horti Control DS8 Dust Shroom 8"
I like the fact it has zero cfm loss. Which can be a big plus with passive air.
Hey I wonder if anyone ever checked into this strain? Doggies Nuts Seeds Big Bad John.
Claims to be alittle special. A perennial as fact. I wonder if this really means a plant can survive a winter and start up again come next spring. I can understand a plant colonizing a place with a warmer climates. Seeds can go dormant for a winter easy enough, Indiana is prime example. They call it IDW, I call it Indianan Ditch Weed. Smoke a fattie and get a headache. The government use to farm hemp here in the potato farms. But you can stop a weed from growing. It grows all up and down the railroad tracks there. Some plants reach 16' tall loaded with small little SEEDY buds. But this plant is called a perennial in their description. And said it needs to be established to be auto-flower. Oh well I just thought it might make a good read for someone. I was drooling over the seed 'wish book' again.
Well looks like the OG Kush is above ground. And the La Confidential is pushing a hump in the soil. I topped the Arjan's Haze at her first leaf to try to keep her short. That might be a losing battle. But hopefully I'll be running that Scrog with her. I cut all the PVC and it's been bundled up behind the couch ever since. I really wanna try it pretty soon. Still no sign of the Train Wreck seed. Oh and I seen a friends doing a Paki-Ryder. I threw mine on early this AM. It's a freebie from World of Seeds. I just got my monthly of 'High Times' and it has a big section on Auto Flowers. Pretty sure the vendor is DNA Genetics. I've always liked the auto's. I think someone can really get a good crop in before the 'man' is even looking for mature plants. Alot of cops don't even start looking till late and the harvest has strong Oder's, or turns off colors. One day I'm going to get some regulars and make a ton of seed.
Well Xlr I have the best help there is. It is alot of work, but I have another half that loves this as much as we all do. Maybe more????????? Oh update on something I've added to my fertilizer regiment, Silica. Suppose to help 'stressed' plants. Also help strengthen cell walls which help resist molds and pests. And started going back to Black Gold Organic Soils. The nursery opened. 10$ for the large bag. Great deal and good soil.
OK well that's it for a minute everyone;
Keepem Green

DAWD!! .1 micron?? That's frikkin tiny! That will keep mold spores out quite nicely and a lot of bacteria. I have a water filter for camping that filters down to .2 to keep the baddies from causing problems, and I thought that was good, but DAYUMM! I say you should get it because of all the PM you have around the house, and that your intake comes from an area with one of the worst infestations I've ever seen.

Yea they are cool. I got one about two weeks back from E-Bay. I gave like 94$ S&H include. You can find some great deals from good sellers on e-bay. I got a couple pieces over the years that didn't work like a lite bulb and sellers just send me a new bulb or they have gone as far as to pay the return S$H on a ballast I bought acouple years back.
Yea that bush always fights PM. The spray seemed to be do alittle something. I plan on getting alittle skim milk next store run. I will try it on those bushes before I yank them out.
Well got home and Miss J had already cut that bush way back. I mean to sticks. I guess I will just have to keep up a regular spray cycle on the outdoor plants we have. 'I shall overcome' least I hope. This summer I will have the room empty for abit and I plan on getting it the rest of the way dialed in. Bright white paint. I got some perfect stuff to do the windows with. It's foil coated on one side white on other. It was used as a flame retardant layer in something fabric. Cool stuff, I wish Homeboy could've gotten afew rolls of it. It's tuff enough for a floor covering.
Well I started this entry last night guess I need to finish it. I do have afew update pic's for y'all. I'll start with what I have going in the flower room. This is the Berkley Blues I got from the local growers. I'm impressed with the Cripit that I grew out last time. As a matter of a fact I have 2 Cripits out in the Dog House. And a Berkley Blue. The Size they are now I can't guess what they 'Could' hit. But I do have a jump on the year again. I'm sure I'm going to grow out the Cripits, but the Blues, that yet to be determined. Well here they are. Lets see how big these babies can get;
006663.JPG

Ok in flower lets see. First off seeing we are talking about the Blues, here's B-B#1 from Stoney Girl Gardens
BB_1.JPG

Ok and her sister. She was typical Indica Looking plant. I didn't tie her in S's because she has hella solid stems and a nice even canopy.
BB_22.JPG

All rite now we have a Skunk plant. It's from Sensie Seed. She doesn't look right, right now, she just got tied down with some wire
Skunk54.JPG

Ok this ones called Fruity Chronic. I forget the vendor but oh well
Chronic13.JPG

I have a problem with the Fruity Chronic, F-C, I ended up giving her a larger dose of Cal-Mag, and transplanted her before flowering. And the problem cleared up. But the leaves back afew sets were permanently damaged. I'm really not going to loss any sleep over it. Marijuana is one resilient plant. Got to remember it is a weed. It doesn't really ask for alot usally. But shit happens.
CalMag3.JPG

What else is up. Ok I loved the Yumbolt-47. Smoke was great. Taste and bag appeal, with a heavy indica stone. With a great yield. So I had to grow her again. This wood be great for someones to do a SCROG with.
Y-471.JPG

And one more going in there. Old Bubba. Sounds like I'm back home. I here alot like this herb. The plant wood be great for a SOG. I can see one main cola. She doesn't have hardly any side branching going on. Well I didn't clone this one. Watch it be the plant of my dreams, never to be found again. damn that's happened to me before. I found a great one a friend fron Minisota sent me some stock of and I lost the genetics. He called it Sweet Tooth# something. I have no faith in names really. Every plant is differnet. You find a good plant, don't lose it. Well here's Bubba
Bubba22.JPG

Well that's it for now. I'll have some updates on the Youngings for later. I hope my friends are doing great out there. Till then everyone, Keepem Green

Hey Sprout old Friend :high-five:

I'll say one thing for you, you're an old time grower, but you are not afraid of change. Your on the cutting edge old Buddy.

See you have big bushes everywhere as usual. You are amazing....considering your health. BY the way...any thing new with the pump?

By the way again....those Doggie Nut seeds. One of our friends here bought a bag of 10 and not one sprouted. He called them and they said "Tough". They went round and round and he never got a thing. No refund! No new seeds. Just saying be careful. My Church would make you proud. She's doing great!
Hi to Miss J.
Love you both! :love:

Pop's you know what? You first thread I catch up on when I get back. You know I got a great harvest with Church the first time I grew one outside here. And did great with her inside also. But the second outdoor was hit alittle by bud rot and PM but that is one of the moistest falls on record for aways back. We do have ALOT of moss growing everywhere around here. It will grow on your car if you don't wash it weekly.
Now the pump...... I went to the doc's yesterday and seen a nurse for my med refills. I asked her to ask the big wig there that does the surgeries that seeing how my pump is fixing to go out, when it alarms, fill it with saline solution and up my oral meds to compensate. If I can deal with the pain, I'll have it removed. I have had morphine in my blood for over 6 years and haven't miss a single minutes dose. And before that I was on every pain killer there was ever made or so it seemed. But I can't really remember how bad the pain was. All I know is I had it put in for a reason. And it wasn't for getting 'high'. Pump don't deliver meds to your blood stream, straight on tap to the spinal cord.
OK them other update pictures. First is a plant from Eva Seed. I'm pretty sure it's called Green Venom. A first for me. She looks WAY sativa. Pretty sure she was a freebie.
Venom.JPG

Ok and me and Miss J are 'TRYING THIS AGAIN'. Tangerine Dream from Barney's Seed. We lost a 11' tall one last year to PM. You just can't grow that strain here, takes abit to long to flower, and PM loves it. But she's trying
T-D1.JPG

Lets see what else. Well got a Star-47 going. Shes still veggie. I don't hurry my veg times.I'd rather veg them out lower bye acouple weeks and increase the yield by100%.
Star-471.JPG

Ofcourse I have 5 Vantages going. The last two we cut looks like about 14+oz's off both. I've cut like 6 vantages in the last 2 weeks. But here she is;
Vantage_Clone.JPG

Now this one sounds sweet. Called Blue Berry Gum. She's got a big bush look to her. She loaded with branches and I see a outdoor plant in here. BBG BlueBerry-Gum
BB-Gum.JPG

I also have acouple skunk clones in there. Some Yumbolt clones also. But I like growing from seeds the best. You never know whats going to come up. And these F-1 hybreds got alittle of everything in them from the start. But I put that Paki- Ryder Seed on the plate yesterday. I'll check it in acouplr more hours. But till then nothing up my sleeves and presto.................. this is Ajran Haze. I topped her after her first leaves came out. The plant looks like it's going to be a viney rebel plant watch. But here she is
A-Haze.JPG

And here are 3 more LA Confedentail, OG Kush, NL X Big Bud. Like I said the Trainwreck derailed awhile back apiece.
Babies45.JPG

Well I shall return. I hope everyones gardens are green. Keepem Green

Fantastic grow...good veriety....(choices)...i don't know if you know this or not...if you have a plant in flower and wished you had taken a clone..you can go ahead and harvest..leave as many leaves on the plant as you can...also leave the lower popcorn buds on...without the buds the plant won't re-veg...then put her in the veg room...:welldone::goodjob:

Hey thanks everyone and Happy 420 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope all are doing great out there. Burn a Fattie everyone.
Thanks Quixilvir. And Miwa, that's very true. But I think I have one more Fruity Chronic seed. So if it is the "one' maybe I'll be lucky and the other seed had been stabilized enough to give me another of the same.
Thanks for jumping out there 4204ALL. They are pretty. That Skunk wow she smells just like a skunk. After messing around in there I swear I ran over a skunk on a backroad somewhere. That Skunk is getting pretty good sized. She's in a 7 gallon smart pot.
Hey Bro 'IGG' you yourself have alot of stuff going on over your way. I was glad to hear you got acouple strains you can use. That Vantage is a pretty fast plant. You got a good brite lite, you got a 42-45 day harvest. Weed is great head stash too.
Jon that Vantage is great turn over quaitity weed. 49 days could be killer. I always try to get mine in alittle early. Guess I'm impatient.
But I do have a longer flowering Haze started. She got that trouble look for a inside grower. Leggy trouble. I watched Greenhouse Seeds vid on this train and they started it flowering at like 10". Ended up with a 8' monster. I plan on hitting her with everything I got to keep her small. I topped her after the first true leaf. 'One Leaflet Leaf'. I'll let her get two sets of leaves out before I hit the topps again. I also plan on finishing her in a 2 gallon pot. Hopefully the root constriction will help keep her smaller. But her she is, she just got over her first topping;
A-Haze_2_.JPG

Ok here's acouple plants I topped way early also. The P-91. I topped one at her first true set and the other the second. Man talk about Indo looks;
P-911.JPG

Well sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Nothing new here cept losing that Bubba Kush. I need to look up abit more about that plant before I say for sure I'm going to use it for pollen. Well that's it for a minute I sure hope 420 gets this spell check fixed or no one is going to understand me. Till later everyone Keepem Green
I always have something new going on. I started these two afew days back. One is a Auto Flower call Paki Ryder. The other is
Spoetnik#1. Me and Miss J have a friend with MS. From all I read on this train it's suppose to help with that. I want to see if maybe it will help this lady. She's real new to the MMJ thing. The first time she smoked was here the other day. Just like me, she didn't feel much the first time. I remember when I first smoked,,,,,,,,,, I thought the sky wood open and
Newbies2.JPG

Ok here's a problem. I have a Bubba Kush growing. Today I looked in and he, HE, was trying to get his pants undone in my flower room with all these little virgins I have in there. She came as a fem seed. And she didn't hermie. She started life as the male she is. I wonder if this pollen is worth anything? I'm dead serious, I never seen preflowers anysign of any sex till now. I took her out the flower room right away ofcourse. Then took her to the office and cut her way back down to nothing. I'm thinking of saving afew pods of pollen anyways to try future pollenation of something. I'll freeze it need bee. Man good thing I 'kind of' been watching. Not like a a Family Guy show.
Well looking outback and I see. Let me go down the list. Oldest,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, is a Berkley Blue. Really I have 2. One is atad taller and looking like a contender. Lets see, here's what I call B-B#1 sorry for the quaity of the pic's but I can only send what I can send'.......
B-B_2.JPG

And another B-B;
B-B.JPG

Ok let me see what else do I have a Pic of, This is another Yumbolt-47. She's going to be a monster. I've been tieing afew of these with that figgure S thing. It really works great. Lets alot more lite into the secondary buds. Well anyways;
Yumbolt-471.JPG

Ok here's the #1 Skunk. I love this plant. Man she stinks tho. Here's the roadkill;
Skunk55.JPG

Here's a Pic of that Bubba Kush that ended up being a male. I'm really not sure if I should use this pollen. It was suppose to be a fem. I cut it down to acouple small flowers for the pollen;
Male45.JPG

This plant is the Fruity Chronic. Shes exploding into flower. She has a nice sweet smell so far. There wasn't but 5-6 inches in the stretch. I still swear by Bush Masters. All my plants in flower get a dose. Well 'Fruity Chronic' or F-C;
Chronic14.JPG

Ok that's it for a minute. I hope 420 gets this spell check fixed or no one will be able to understand me. That Web Site looks great. Thanks to the staff here at 420. Keep up the great job you all are doing.
Keepem Green

:bravo: Love how you and Janet bush those bushes out ..... On the cripits i tied down both seeds/plants but on clones i let them grow regular and wow they can grow tall fast with huge leaves :thedoubletake: You got a lot of nice strains going...will be watching to see what new strains i should get. :thanks: for the advice on Vantage seeds.....the strain is A1 for speed, taste ,high and yield

Jon thanks for the thoughts. She's still breathing, err he is. I still got acouple little branches of her going. But I'm not really sure I want to even produce any seeds. Besides I was thinking of which plant I have I can pollenate. Bubba/B-B, Bubba/Y-47, Bubba/Skunk, Or Bubba/Chronic. I may not have time on the B-B. Fact I don't. Stoney claims as low as a 35 day flower, but these are not them. But I do see the B-B starting to crank out some sparkle to her buds.
Thanks IGG, the Vantage is a good flip over herb. I think I'm going to let one go atad longer next time. Like a week+. The Cripit. I can see a great early finisher for the great Oregon Outdoors. That should beat the wet weather of fall. I have two going outside now. You will be able to see the difference between to two easily. I have afew updated pic's coming up in a minute or two.
Miwa. Yea I know I should've taken a clone but I was lazy, and didn't want to clone just acouple plants. Like I said I got another seed of it. I ordered 1 and the sent me a freebie of it. Man I got some new strains coming up in a bit you might want to check out. They are in the Auto Flowering department.
My hats is off to you 4204ALL. Man you out did yourself with that last flip you did. And you was upset on the yeild??????????????? You getting alittle to tecnical on my. Grams per watt and all. You did fantastic. I want to throw a Scrog in there but with the problems with PM I've been having, its hard to move them around. I try to keep my plants seperated from touching each other. Some strains get it alot easier than others. I just hope I dont see it anymore now that taht bush is down and that fliter on the intake. Soon as I can I'm going to tear the white plastic off the floor. Repaint a bright flat white. I got one wood stained door on the closet that need some enamel. And I want to foil the windows with this IR barrier foil I have. I have plastic over them now and the fan sure stretches it tight.
Ok I ordered some new strains but I won't know whats what. It's a assortment pack from Bubba Seeds. Not Big Budda but. They had a deal with 10 fem auto's. Price was rite. I always seen a great future for the auto flowering plants. Man I wish I had them back in the 'Day'. You could be cutting your outdoor grows down before the Man even fires up his copters to look for maturing plants. Well I figgure if I get even 1 1/2 oz's be a fun grow. Suppose to be names like Red Dwarf, White Dwarf, Syrup, Deimos, and others they are experimenting in breeding prodjects.
Whew. Alot of typing for me still can't get spell check fired up on here???????????????????
Oh well. I said the Berkley Blues started pumping out some sparkel. Here's one I've have to look at the date later. But she's looking pretty good;
B-B_11.JPG

And another of the same;
B-B_1_2_.JPG

Here's another B-B#2;
B-B_21.JPG

and;
B-B_2_2_.JPG

I'll tell ya I think I'm atad backwards here. Use to be a day when I was always worried about kids ripping off my stash. But I think now adays with alot of people being able to grow their own meds, people are going to be ripping off veggie gardens instead. Well I'm one step ahead of them. I'm growing what I call camo Tomatoes Plants. To the young thevies eyes they look like a regular old marijuana plant instead of the Tomatoe it is. JK ofcourse but check it out;
Hide_Out.JPG

I have acouple more fast updates being the greenhouse plants. First the Cripit-s;
Cripit-s5.JPG

Then the Cripit-i;
Cripit-i5.JPG

Then the Outdoor Berkley Blue;
B-B2.JPG

Then the 'Smile'. This is some tasty weed. Smells like candy to me;
Smile11.JPG

Well that's it for a update. I thank all who comment and I hope everyone gardens are green. Keepem Green

Man, this is definitely one of my favorite threads. Great strains, great pics. Love it. Really looking good, my friend. That "Smile" looks like it's really happy - like it's got hybrid vigor going on. Lots of yummy stuff. :yummy:

Thanks y'all. This is going to be hella bushy plant. That is that Smile. I was just upgrading her living situation. I'm using Black Gold soil with some goodies added. But like most years I lean on the Miracle Grow fert's. I go thru alot of it also. This plant I grew out about a month ago. She flowers out pretty fast. I could've given her another week last time. But I was happy with the product I got off her in the quality and yield departments. 7 71/2 weeks should finish her end of September. Smile;
Smile13.JPG

While out thersnappeded afew more pic's of some of the strains I got out there. I goa groupup shot of my First String outdoor plants, all from Stoney Girl Gardens. These are going to get a upgrade in their living environmentnt pretty soon. They are going to be truely outdoors, no green house. Just half barrels. I really wish I had some actual soil area I could grow in out back. If you can ever give a plant unlimited root area with reasonable soil, man sky's the limit to what you can yield off some plants. The guy who grows for this outfit, claims he get's up to 6 1/2 lbs off a big female once. I know I grew some back when, we got 3-4 lb's off some back on the banks of the Mississippi River. couldn'tnt even try to tell ya what strains we grew back then. Most seeds I grew out where some my Uncle use to grow. But back then weed was 75$ a Lb. We use to kill the males off, but there was always some seed in the product. My Uncle use to make good 'old shine'.
Well enough said of them days for a minute. Here's then Stoney Girl's Gardens stuff;
1st_string.JPG
They did stretch alittle seeing they were coming from under a nice brite MH 20/4 hours per day, out into the brite overcasted Sky's of Oregon. They will adjust.
Ok here's what that Skunk's leaves look up closerloser anyways. I love the smell from this one for sure. I grew one out and another in there in flower now and she's just starting to put out that I must have ran something over smell. Ah memories of my old black and tan running into a skunk while out coon hunting. Nothing worse for a week or two for the owner.
Skunk56.JPG

Here's that Star-47 I started. I grew Sensie Star before, loved the plant. Man that's a great blend of genetics growing there. And AK-47 speaks for herself. the most awarded plant in any cup's history, least from my hearings;
Star-472.JPG

Ok here's one I tried twice without any results. I had a 10 footer going outside last year, but I could'nt give her the time she needs to finish here. I plan on cloning this one in awhile and growing it inside after I get the room emptied out and refloor the room with a new layer of plastic. I have three layers down there and that 'might' conbribute to my PM problems. I also plan on a repaint, with a brighter shade of white flat paint. It's called Tangerine Dream. Loved the sound and figgure any cup winner could have potential for a stash bud;
T-D2.JPG

Ok here's a seed from Eva. Called Poison, or Venom. She's suppose to be great against pests and molds. She's alittle long term for outside here, but I will try her inside fore sure, along with my Arjan Haze#2 I'm going to try. Miss Venom;
Venom1.JPG

Ok another pic, this ones of that Yumbolt-47. Great plant. Man after the 'cure' she had some fantasic gold and red hues, kind of had the "old Lumbo" look. Well here ya go;
Y-472.JPG

Ok all them except maybe the Cripit-i have some of that hybred look. But this little girl? Man if that isn't 100% Indo I don't know what is. This is suppose to be a great reliever of pain. Man I can hope, can't I? Another Stoney Girl's baby. The P-91;
p-912.JPG

Well I rambeled on enough. Hope everyone out there has a green garden. Keepem Green

Well just a quick note to say that Old Bubba is starting to let go of 'his' first flowers. This was called a fem seed. And it didn't turn hermie. It grew out male flowers from jump street. Kind makes me wonder if it isn't 'good female pollen' to start with. Guess me and Miss J are going to find out.
I'm open to any input on which I should use for a mother. And who knows maybe it will come up with something worth doing all the back crossing to stabilize any good genetics, if any. Pre 98' Bubba Kush/ Yumbolt-47 or Fruity Chronic or #1 Skunk. #1 skunk being about the most stable plant in that list wood kind of be the most likey to use as a mother. Skunk is probley the most selectively culled plant in history. Making it a good starting point. Least it wood be alot easier than starting out with 2 F-1 hybreds. Thinking about it I bet ya skunk is really the most bred plant there is. Seems it's in alot of F-1's out there. This one I got smells to all heaven. Which wood make it alot easier for me, I have a sad excuse for a sense of smell, to cull out some of the first selection.
I'm not sure I'd have enough time left in the B-Blues in there. One is due any day now. I see a week tops. Tomarrow he'll be ready. I plan on hitting a bottom branch with a q-tip dusted with pollen, then a 'brown paper bag' for afew days. Then spray her down with some water. Well here's Bubba;
Bubba23.JPG

Man I'll tell ya what Oregon seems like it figgured it out that there is alittle money in charging for the rites to smoke. Price went up again. My son inlaw just went to get his card. 380$ I just renewed mine like 3 months ago, and prices went up like twice in a year. Maybe it went up on the begining of the year. They also changed something about the grows. I understand that if you are growing for others besides the people that reside there, you are suppose to get a comerical property and have biyearly inspections. I think that is if you grow for alot more people than I have to worry about. I have 3 papers tacked to the wall. Allows me 18 adult plants. And more youngsters than I care to have to care for.
Well that's it for now. I'll post some more in afew. Keepem Green
