7-22 update;
Haven't done a proper update for a few days, it was a busy week outdoors!
The clones are popping and growing nice roots, they are now in a veg solution running 280 PPM's at 5.8 PH, another week of this and they are probably going into big DWC tubs and or Coco Coir...not sure which or it may be a combination of both!
The current grow is progressing well, stretch is slowing considerably and I am starting to see the bud sites fatten up a bit.
I am noticing many differences between the strains and with-in the strains, the shorter gals are making nice dense sticky cola's with sugar leaves starting to show.
The taller ladies have many sites but a lot of spacing between buds, they are not yet getting sticky but are fattening up some, these still are growing tall, not as fast as before, but around a inch every 2-3 days...most are 22-26 inches above the net where the shorter gals are 7-12 inches above. I hope these lanky ladies start to plump up some!
I am noticing some leaf discoloration/spotting on one of the Widow gals in RDWC, I noticed this starting as soon as I started adding the Bloom Optimizer the 3rd week of flower, it is not on all areas of the plant and the other Widow in the RDWC shows no signs of this nor does any of the Kush gals.
I called Skunk Labs and explained the problem to them...since this plant was the last to show flower and is behind her sisters in the flower stage, they think it might be a nutrient lock-out on Magnesium and suggested I raise my PH in the system to 6.0 from the 5.6-5.8 I have been normally running it. I was able to get my hand in the bucket to check the roots and no slimy stuff, water flow is not blocked so I upped the PH to 6.0.
I have been running 3 ml per gal on the CaliMagic which is slightly up from the 2.5 ml recommended dose on week 6 and also doing the same with the Coco gals...no problems except for this gal.
I don't plan on doing anything drastic other than raising the PH as recommended and keeping a close eye on new growth/development.
If you have any suggestions/comments/experience with this problem, let me know your thoughts!
Tomorrow will be the second try with popping the old beans with GA3 in a higher dose with an additional pre-soak in H2O2, which I didn't do on try #1.
