In the temps you're describing I don't think there should be much difference between the OC+ and the DM. Those are optimal temps.

I don't understand why you guys feel the need to mix them. I've got 3 grows with OC+ and have not had anything but great results, especially on the most recent one.

Why mix? The OC+ has the better micronute profile by far. As long as the temps are in spec, I think it's the best choice for hempy. In soil, I don't see how it would matter much.....either OC or DM would work fine.

not mixing either sticking to all the same. i had great results with DM so i am sticking to what worked for me. if it ant broke then dont fix it. i have yet seen a TRF plant with multiple buds the size as the DM red grew for me. and in my condition's i seen them all grow the same stain from clone, it was enough for me to make up my mind.

but how dose the OC+ have a better micro profile by far? its not by far better then DM purple that i can see? the only thing it has is zinc, but the cal/mag is better on the DM. i dont see how it has a better profile by far?

This one you will need to add stuff, its in the same ball park as the OC 14-14-14 witch is just a NPK. The DM purple is in the same ball park as the OC+.

Right now i am running my new grow with DM red and Mater Magic in a 50/50 soil/coco mix to see if i can not have to use Cal/mag? Mater Magic has allot of Cal.

no its made by DM but not the same NPK and Micros. DM is better then the lowes brand, the lowes stuff is missing allot of micro nutes

Holy Crap, I hate living in the middle of nowhere, with no "modernization" in sight. I mean, yea, the 40's were good for some, but for others? There are 3, count 'em 3 wally worlds in this town of a little over 35,000, and they are all super wally worlds, and I can't find 1 friggin DM supplier nearby!! As for OC+ I wrote to them and they sent me samples, bueno!!

check lowes, Home Depot, OSH always has them. The lowes ones might work good if you add cal/mag. just really look at the back of the bottle, ive only seen the lowes organic one and purple or maybe blue? ones, both of them were lacking Calcium. so check the ones you can find and make sure they have all the micros in it, if its missing cal, you can fix that for cheap or maybe even add the Mater Magic like i did if you can find it? if not theirs others options like cal/Mag or organics, ask Doc he knows of a few things.

na i broke her down to prevent mold and for curing, its hard to cure a bud that size in a mason jar. i am not worried about the contest, ive already had my time. ones enough for me. as long as i have my pics and memories i am happy.:peace:
 
Phil you may want to check acehardware.com. If they have what you're looking for they'll ship it free to the store nearest you.

And if you haven't already, check out the store nearest you, they have all kinds of nutes. So does Tractor Supply.
 
We've got a whole thread of people talking common sense here! It's a revolution....

AN, HnG, GH, Botanicare....they all need to take notice. The people are no longer under the spell....we no longer buy rip-off nutes from gougers and scammers.....and the plants like it better too.
