Sweet man! Great job on getting your cab up and running. Looks like the girls will love it! Past the 875w p ft arent you? Man I been gone for a couple days and its all done. sweet.

Can you tell me more about the screen stuff that you used on the roof of the cab? I'm not farmiliar with that stuff.............Hmmm...
+REPwhen I can!

Looks AWESOME Bandit! Leave it to you to come up with that idea. I too would like more info on that screen for your roof as well as some info on what controller can run the fan when the lights are on as well as every 15mins when they're off. Been looking for a controller like that for 1 light and fan with a carbon filter on it. +reps

Ahhh y'all caught that huh? This stuff is awesome! It's called Sun Screen and is at Home Depot in rolls of 6' x 20' for $30. One layer is not enough to block all light but with 5 layers you have a blackout and it can still breathe.:goof:
My exaust control is nothing more than a simple 15 minute increment analog timer made by Hydrofarm. Grasslin also make a similar high quality analog timer. Basically i have it set to come on 15 minutes before the lights come on and run for an additional 15 minutes after the lights go off. I also have some triggers set to run for 15 minutes every hour during the lights off. The exaust is on a completely seperate electrical circuit to accomplish this. :yahoo:

I have'nt forgot about your other questions either Agent Green. I've been real busy building this thing along with a couple other work things that have had me tied up. I'll be around alot more now and i'll send you the info asap! ;)

Junior! The way things are lookin' I'm beginning to get mighty concerned!

Wicked. Great job man. Your attention to detail is beyond most. Keep up the exellent job. I'd rep you, but i cant yet. Stop by my place if you got the time later. I'm posting a few pics of the Big girl as I speak. WOOHOO!

Great stuff! Love the pics of the rail! So helpful for those of us jerry rigging the trolley.

BTW - brainiac piece of advice - if you decide to lube the rail with WD40 or something - make sure you don't get it under the rail or on the wheel for the motor. This is kinda obvious, unless you're stoned, working alone at 5AM, in a hurry to beat lights out, and get distracted. Then you will turn around and see your light that was nicely moving has come to a stop while the wheel spins. Yep. It took me 20 minutes to wipe the damn oil off the wheel and rail. But I will say that it runs smoother now.

I need a R2D2 fix.

Also, have you gotten a chance to check out "Stick" the Burt Reynolds flick?

Thx Papa! I'm really diggin' the moving lights! Since the movers are used and quite frankly abused by the previous owner, I went over them real good cleaning both the rails and motors. I was nervous about using any kind of solvents or lubes so I just went with paper towles and an old toothbrush. one motor had been run on a poorly installed track and had two badly worn wheels that had spooged grease all around the wheel area and that all needed to be cleaned. I went ahead and replaced all four wheels on both motors. The new wheels came prelubed so I figured I would not need to lube anything else but just stay on top of making sure the track stays clean and keep an eye on the wheels for grease leaks. :rollit:
The motor that had the bad wheels is now running as good as new.:yahoo:
I was also glad to see that I did not need the $30 robo stix to balance the cool tubes. :yahoo:
My shop could not sell me the tie rod seperate from the big add a lite kit but that bar was easily found at home depot along with the galvanized hardware. The pink cord is used to level the duct connector but today I'm looking for a solid hvac sleeve I can clamp on between the two tubes.:ganjamon:

R2D2 is coming to life today with some Yumbolt clones! :yummy:

No go on Stick yet but the tivo is set to catch it if it pops up!:blalol:

BTW congats on the motm nom! You've got my vote Brother! Ever since I switched over to the PG glass cleaning formula my glass has never been cleaner and clean glass will get my vote every time! :roorrip:

Wow - that's all great news! I was worried about the wd40 as well. I hope it doesn't become sticky later. I have silica spray as well that I prolly shoulda used instead. Oh well - when I see them binding it will be time for a rehang anyways - hoping to add another mover into the equation.

Yumboldt in R2D2 is what I'm talking about!!!!!

Big Props on all the work!

The cheapest rubbing alchohol + coarse ground salt is tops all the way!

Man, the McGyver series is vast. 300+ episodes and I've watched maybe 50. Some are good, some are horrible. I like seeing the proggresion of the mullet. I keep getting too baked to really follow along with the stories so I end up sitting back and just laughing at the guy and his antics:ganjamon:

The earlier seasons are the better ones. I started to watch some of the last couple seasons and those are real bad. Season one is pretty freakin' killer though!

Dude.

I know exactly what you're saying. Recently I was on a trip through the 80's and decided to queue up Crockett and Tubbs over on Netflix. Got about 4 discs in and finally couldn't take so much cheeze at one sitting. Just blows my mind that some shows of those times were considered stellar Television. At least it seemed like it back then. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Grow on bro!

 Dude had a gator for a watch dog!
Ironic enough if you remember NBC used Phil Collins' "In The Air Tonight" for it's promos of Miami Vice. Last night I downloaded the soundtrack to The Hangover and guess what song is on that album? That stoner thing again!
You might want to check out the Green Acres series on dvd. That show was hilarious and we can relate to Oliver on so many levels.

BTW- I dont know if you've seen these but I think somebody at Home Depot R&D is smokin' ebb n gro herb!

Hey orange,love the new set up,hope ya'll have a great holiday:bongrip::bongrip::ganjamon::grinjoint::roorrip:

You too my friend!
Found another used light rail motor yesterday so by the end of the weekend I should have the other UFO in orbit!
I was real close to ordering one of the GLH led panels to replace a ufo but I decided not to in the end. Besides I really like what the tri band UFO adds to my garden and I will continue to go with them for all of my LED plans in the future.
I also have my eye on the new reflectors coming late in the Fall from Hydro Innovations. They're called the Air Stream and they actually kind of look like little Air Stream travel trailers. They could be the new standard in air cooled reflectors.
The cooling system is holding up! It's being taxed to it's limits but my temps have yet to climb over 85 degrees even after adding the second 430 hps. Minimum temps have been at 79.
I'm taking Yumbolt clones now and moving more WWs into bloom. Pics will come next week!
