Love the stickers!
How do those buckets work exactly? Do you have a link for them?
They work the same as a GH Waterfarm. There is about 2 1/2- 3 gallons of nute solution below the net basket which hold the hydroton and plant. A dual outlet Active Air pump pushes the nute solution up thru the waterfarm plumbing kit and it comes out thru the drip rings to water the plants. The blue check tube on the outside lets me know when they need to be refilled. When the buckets go to bloom those tubes will be removed and the elbow fittings will be replaced wtih a straight line and T fitting so they can be connected to each other and then to the big waterfarm controller rez. The rez is controlled by a float valve so as nutes are used by the plants the float will lower and release water from the upper rez to replenish the lost solution. Sounds a bit complicated but it is very simple and it's one of the most reliable and user friendly hydro techniques around.
This is the blooming rez
Here's what the buckets look like w/out hydroton during the test runs
