The waterfarm bloom controller has been modified with a diy circulation kit. GH makes a kit to buy but it retails for about $60. This kit is made from a waterfarm plumbing kit which retails for $15. If you dont already have a 13/16 spade bit, 1/2" barbed elbows w/ grommets, and/or an air pump you can still save money by buying those things seperate.
This circulator can be used for any kind of hydro application that uses an auxillary rez.

For this demo I'm using only the bottom half of a waterfarm controller to supplement the two diy waterfarm bucket modules that will be connected to it. As the two plants grow or I add two more buckets the upper 13 gallon rez will be used. The rez can also be diyed with a quality food grade plastic container.
Drill a 1/4" hole well above the water line of the rez for the air line to slide through. It should be somewhere near the upper middle of a side wall.
On the opposite side of the air line I installed an inlet elbow into the bottom of the rez by using the 13/16th spade bit to drill a hole. Insert a grommet and then a 1/2" elbow.
The pumping column is made by cutting down the plumbing kit shaft so it is above the waterline but short enough so the lid fits back on the rez.
The T is put on one end of the column sideways.
A small 2 1/2" long piece of 1/2" tubing is put onto the angled air valve at the other end of the white tube. It will fit very loose so a zip tie must be used the fasten and clamp down on the air valve.
A 1/2" Elbow is inserted into the open end of the clamped tubing
A tube is then put on the other end of the elbow to go the length of the rez to the other side and connect to the inlet elbow.
With the left over piece of white tubing I cut two more pieces to put in the top and one in the side of the T. The top piece has a piece of sponge in it to direct all waterflow to the side outlet. The side outlet then has a piece of tubing to give the flow direction to the back of the rez.
It will look and function like this when it's installed. It will pump 1 gallon about every 5 minutes. Power consumption is only 3 watts.

The individual bucket reservoirs will need to have 13/16th holes drilled opposite the existing holes and have the connection tubing ran in an inline daisy chain fashion.
