One Seed In The Ground

So this is one of my baby plants that didn't grow much but its in flower. So i decided to put it in a pot and feed it lots of nutes and see how it goes. I'm hoping that it stays pretty small but has lots of dense bud. I'm gonna try and make it look like the top of a plant if i can.

I have used seed that was pollinated from a hermaphroditic plant and can confirm that so far only a small percentage of the offspring has been hermaphroditic (I have only seen 1 from 4 plants). My current grow has 4 more.

But I have not actually used any of the self-seeded hermaphrodite because I do fear the genetic predisposition...

Thats great pantagruel im happy its working out. So whats durban lights? Is that Durban poison X Northern lights is my guess.

Correct. The one hermie from the second gen contaminated my second grow of northern lights and I ended up with about 120 seeds from three plants.

120 thats all hehe. I do know if you cross breed a plant with itself in a few generations you are breeding hermaphroditic trait into the plant. I know that doesnt really pertain totally to what we been discussing but I like to drop information when I can. So in other words eventually all the crossed varieties out there will have more chance of producing hermies unless you start over with heirloom seeds of the original every once in awhile.

Hi all its been a while since an update. So here are a few pics... i haven't been paying to much attention to my plants. All i do is water them every other day takes a while cause i have to do it slow as to not getting stuff wet and cause mold. since they are in flower. I've been looking for bugs everyone in a while and haven't found a single aphid. i guess my keeping up with spraying is really helping these plants out. but they are looking great to me. maybe tomorrow or whenever the wind stops blowing ill get some close ups of the buds they are looking nice.
if the garden looks a lil different its cause i moved all my chili plants up on a table cause my dog keeps running thru my garden and breaking branches. she broke a branch off my big plant and when i picked it up the branch was almost 6 ft tall. i looked at it and thought thats a lot of bud thats no gonna be smoked but then i looked at the rest of my plant and thought to myself i still think theres enough left to last me a few years.
so here are a few pics
