fishy I can actually say that the Medi-Bomb1 turned out exactly like I wanted her too. I FIMed and FIMed her and FIMed her again. Bout damn time one came out like I thought it should.

Yeah, that little Lemon Skunk has put on a bit of weight. Hope she smokes good. I'm trying to get better pictures up. The space by the side is getting smaller....he! He!.....the girls are filling out. Believe it or not Jo was out looking at them today. Wonders never cease!

FIMing is a way to get more from your plants, by bending or cutting them to make them grow more tops and so on.

Look closely at where the pictures tells you to make the FIM cut, that will give you 2 tops instead of one. Then once the have grown out, you can FIM them again.

By the way FIMing means....Fu*k I Missed !

Even if you miss sometimes it still works.

Make the plant do what you want it to do!

I'll be using a hydrofarm 24' T-5HO Fixture with 4 24' bulbs as my light source. I will only be growing two plants at a time, but in discussing with other people it is still way too little light for tight buds. Could this technique help that situation?

Well, this will not help with your light situation at all. That's #1. Is there any way to place a few CFLs around or would the heat be too much. You have some very good growers following your grow. What do they say?

Most go with some CFL's a few with HID. I would be more apt to go with CFL's if they truly did make that much of a difference. I have to be honest when I say I don't know enough yet to form an opinion on whether one way is truly better than another.

more light s always better
using flouro tubes youll need more than 2 fixtures with 4 lights but with a scrog you can do pretty good with flouros
I used flouros on my first grow t-8's in fact litro grow lights I think I used 4 fixtures 2 plants so 8 bulbs may have used 6 fixtures im not sure id have to go look back in my first journal oh yea and I didn't scrog it
flouros or even cfl's don't have the light intensity of hid's so they have to kept a lot closer
tubes run a lot cooler tho so a lot of times they can be touching the bulbs with no issue im not saying make them that close they grow into it and you move em away when needed
cfl's tend to run hotter especially at a higher wattage so you have to give those some space but not as much as hid's
another option is led's less heat longer life and theyre getting better only thing sucks with led's is they are expensive
nothing will beat hid's when it comes to indoor artificial lighting
but the cost in electricity and the heat generated will cost money to have to keep it cooler etc...

Well, since ths a learning first grow, I would go with CFLs. Then with what you grow this time would hopefully hold you over until your next grow where you are at least familiar with what you can and can't do.

That is nice idea, but Jo will never help me.....I don't think, but you never know. She is concerned that I will run out of buds, so you never know.

Hate to put it this way, but if something happens to me she would be homeless in a month. That is major worry for her and me too. Some of the decisions she made in the past has come back to haunt her. I had her set up for life, but she decided to divorce me. oops. Don't get me wrong, she's my girl for life.
