I know for a fact that the big red button will shut all the shit down! Then you have to go in and start everything back-up in order to keep everything good! Sorry used to work in the Chemical World. I have also seen the mop handle hit the Big Red button while cleaning before shift change. then you have to go out and start all the pumps back up.

The Story Continues……………......…..........…..…….I Contact the Equal Opportunity School

I did the Interviews and the results were just too bad to ignore. It needed someone with a lot more rank than I had.. I would be shot down quickly. The XO would fight to save his buddies at the Chaplains School.. I called my old instructor at the Equal Opportunity School. After talking to him a few minutes he connected me to the Commandant.

We talked and I told him about my findings and my OX . He told me to contact a Colonel at the Pentagon and send him a copy of my findings. He gave me the number for the Colonel's Aide. He also said to wait about hour before I called. He was going to talk to him first.

By then I was thinking “What have I gotten myself into this time?” Lasting trouble, for sure.

Sam's blood pressure was climbing fast.

The Colonel's aid called from the Pentagon, before the hour was over, The Colonel asked me about all that had happened. I told him in detail all that I remembered. He wanted me to immediately send a copy of all the group interviews and who had attended and the name of any Officers present. This was before computers, so I mailed it the fastest way possible.

2 weeks went by and then we were invaded by a team from the Pentagon. There were wholesale firings and many Chaplains were asked to retire on the spot. In other words they cleaned house. Chaplains were recalled from field duty and were given the job of getting the school back on its feet.

Our XO came in breathing fire.. “Why didn't you tell me?”. So I told him exactly what had happened. I had called the EO School to get advice and told him the exactly the way things went down. “Sir, I was ordered not to tell you”. .by the Pentagon.

He looked at Sam and I and then said “If you two start any more trouble, I will have your stripes. “Yes Sir”..

A month or so later the two young ladies came by to thank us.....they were wearing stripes.

If you were wondering, I received my rank before Sam did and out ranked him. So I was the boss. To be truthful, I don't think Sam would have done anything.

To be Continued........................................................................We get an OIC

Good Morning and a fine smoke to you OMM!
love the story. don't know much about the Military but I have recently heard of how hard it was for a woman to excel in there.
good for you to be there and get some justice for those young ladies:circle-of-love:

Top Of the Bud to ya Big Kahuna ! Great story ! Thinking about the year and conditions of the times , it took some huge coconuts to stand up for what you thought was right ! That may be why we are all here, we all have a profound sense of what is Right and Wrong!:bravo::Namaste:

G'Day Mate! I met some strong women in the service. Some do really well. If you are in the medical field you're almost positive to be accepted as Officers and promoted. I think it's probably still that way.

By the way the Alter Boys........all were at lest E-4. They were a prissy bunch.

Yep, fishy, I knew I was going get my butt in much trouble for just doing my job. I was still a hippie inside, peace and every one is equal. :peace:

Hey there clayhead ! I actually did want to make things better for people. In a different time I would have been called a square.

Well, truthfully somebody had to do it. Old Sam and I both developed some serious health problems before things were over.. The SOB almost killed us.
