Hawaii is a nice place... beautiful... but ridiculously overpriced in every way. For all you have been paying and are worth you could live like a king elsewhere!!! Of course you know that and choose Hawaii so you must love it and I am sorry you will leave but it is good to be King!!

I live on the windward side of Oahu. In a growing little town called Kailua. Needless to say, I love it here......but it does make one very lazy.

Ah Oahu, Nice. A friend and I where searching for a grow sight on the east side of the Big island I think in the spring of 82 when the most God awful rain storm hit of the likes I never want to see again.

Hi pucker huddle. I have been through a few of those too. I had a friend that tied himself to a tree on one of the mountains here. If he hadn't he would have been history. Really haven't seen rain until you are in a 8 or 9 inch an hour rain storm.

Yes, Why yes I am. First time was a spur of the moment thing with my crazy and somewhat well off cousin. Did you know that if your a couple longhair teenage boys riding around in a limo that everyone, and I mean everyone wants to sell you weed. We bought everything Honolulu had to offer then went and painted Maui red. We finally hit the real McCoy around Lahaina I think the name was. Bought everything they had. Then went on a small plane over the leper colony and rode some hydrofoil boat they had there. Best weekend of my life. Bar none. My next trips where more of a roughing it type. A little rougher than we bargained for. Yea that trip in 82 was the worst time of my life.

For sure times you will never forget. Some you want to forget too! I'd have tried to get my "Some what well off cousin" to come with you each time! Hindsight is great. When I first got here the outer islands were great. Just walk down the street and folks would walk by and say "buds?".
Sounds like you had some good times mixed in there. Life's fun.
yea been back to normal grind for awhile now but it does get hot and humid when it rains on and off

Great to see you posting on here, must mean you`re feeling a bit better. Too bad Jo won`t try MJ for herself, it might be just the thing to help her. My wife basically doesn`t use MJ ( unless a toke or 2, once or twice a month counts), but doesn`t mind my antics. She used to keep up with the best of us, about 20 years ago. Once in a while she will eat some in a brownie, cookie or the like. Slow and easy will win your race, my ol` friend. Later.
