OldMedMan's 2nd Grow 5 Strains and AirPots

Sure do, groover. Even though I have health care, I went from seeing my regular doctor every four months to over 8 months now unless I have an emergency. Then I get to go sit in the emergency room four to six hours and catch to the virus of the day thats going around in there. :smokin2::smokin2:

Will things change for you with the new health bill. It's big news here because Obama cancelled his trip here to take care of health issues.:peace:

Ok! Now I know which pots. Thanks:grinjoint:

Well, sorry to say this, but that bill is more political crosstalk. Big news! For nothing. When it is fully implemented in 2019 it only effects 32 million people most of which will be dead by then. The old folks were out in force at the White House early the next morning protesting. F**kers :peace:

That is a shame. The health system here is pretty good IMO. Everyone gets subsidised healthcare and those that can afford private cover and choose to do so get a tax break. Healthcare cards are issued to everyone on welfare for cheap meds too. Because I'm on a pension I can get any prescriptions for $5.30 each and Doctors visits cost nada and I can see any doctor that bulk-bills not just public hospital service. Public hospitals aren't too flash because of cost cutting. I think that's what helped Dad along. The hospital he died in is known for Golden Staph problems and I'm pretty sure infection is what got him. The way he bloated up and all. Still waiting for the Coroners Report.
So our healthcare is good in the sense that everyone gets care but bad in the sense that the quality of care is compromised due to financial restraints:peace:

Had to do go for sure.
My next door neighbor is a young mom with two kids and her husband is at sea in the Navy....think you know what that's like. Any way she is part of a Christian Support group for Navy wives and they help each other out and are good folks.
This afternoon and into early evening she had the weekly meeting at her house. When most of them were gone she realized her 4 year old daughter was missing. With in minutes the whole neighborhood was looking for her, me included. The street we live on is like a mini freeway so we were all kind of frantic. Took about 2 hours to find her. She was under a house about a block away, sleeping with a neighborhood dog. Go figure :ganjamon: Poor mom was in tears, but happy. She's a really good Mom and I think the poor kid will be watched under house arrest for a while.:ganjamon:

WoooWee. At least I had few flashlights to give out. Damn...never know whats coming next. :peace:

Wow!!! I am glad the crisis turned out well. I never had children, but could only imagine the horror of losing one. Glad you were there to help out brother. Married life in the military is not an easy life. Lucky for me I was single when I was shipboard. Hawaii was twice as much fun that way...lol.:welldone:

Sounds familiar groover. Got health care, the quality is bad. I can't complain about the care I get. The military does have good doctors, once I finally see one. They are so overworked it's a shame. I don't know how they keep up, because 75% of them treating war wounds in two countries and are not here for us old guys. Our hospital went from 900 + beds to 124 beds.

Sure glad you have low price prescriptions. Even tho Joanne has Medicare she has to spend a fortune on her prescriptions.

Sorry your Dad had such a rough time of it. Most of us hate to go a hospital because of what you can catch there, sorry to say. Hey, it's full of sick people. Setting Sun is in the medical field, wonder what he thinks of things?:peace:

Me too GMT I didn't help much, gave out some flashlights and then when the wrong way.:smokin2:

Yep,,,,,,not a bad port to be in. :ganjamon:

Hi OMM!
I'm seeing something special happen here with the two 3 liter Air Pots with freshly rooted clones.
The two clones are going into a very aggressive growth pattern and leaving the other seven in regular pots in the dust. They're in the same soil under the same T5 lamp. Only difference is the container.
I'll post the pics Friday on the Air Pot thread for all to check out.:yummy:

The big plant has taken over the vegging area. I think she's putting on about two inches of growth in all directions per day. I gave her a few hours of Sun yesterday because it was so beautiful outside and I also gave her the 1st feeding of the new General Organics nutes. She kinda looked like she didnt know what to do but when I got home from work she looked like she wanted to take over world!:rollit:

Man, that's great news. I'm getting pretty excited now. Gotta see that. Cannabis Plant gets entire Planet Stoned.

OMM thanks for calling our attention to Headmasters Vertical Grow! I've never seen the likes of that! Amazing. +Reps for the heads up and for just being you my friend!:bravo:

Hey Buddy Thanks for the +reps...been trying to give you some for weeks. :smokin2:

When I see something like that, I just have to share it. Glad you liked it. :ganjamon:

I've never seen such a thing before, more unique than hanging gardens! It seemed to some of the growers that posted over there, that they've seen or have known about this kind of a set up before. Am I that 'behind' the times? I learn new stuff every day here. This site is so huge that had you not alerted me to it, I probably would never have run across it and would be that much more ignorant for it! You deserved the reps buddy. Thanks

Sorry, just wanted to ask you, was that a soil grow with a drip system to water, or was that a hydro. Hydro right?

For some reason, when I first saw it, an image popped into mind of a train set that I saw as a little kid, my neighbor friend's Dad, had a train set that used to amaze us (I don't think my friend was allowed to touch it). It was like a multi level track or a few separate tracks at different levels stacked on top of each other. Anyway the vertical grow reminded me of that. .....................rambling....:rasta:

I think it was Hydro. I was so caught up in the shear size of it, I didn't pay attention. :smokin2:

Loved the train track thing. My Dad before he passed away, used to spoil hell out of me. He gave a train set and had the whole thing mounted and set up for me. He didn't realize he had taken the fun out of it for me. I wanted to put it together. Same thing with a giant Erector Set the following year. He had a guy make a gigantic Ferris Wheel for me. Couldn't understand why I wanted to take it all apart as soon as I saw it.:ganjamon: By the way, you and I are way behind it all.

Dad's try so hard sometimes to please their kids that they don't realize it was enough just to buy the things! He may have bought the train set for himself also!

That's the kind of great looking grow that I'll never be able to do! At least I get to see one though!:grinjoint:

That is a very cool grow...seen some really cool stadiums that are similar but that is much more efficient.

Wonder how long it will take to fill your Air Pots with roots to where it starts the root pruning? Inquiring minds want to know....and wonder if I was ambitious with a drill and a 5 gallon bucket :reading420magazine:.

My wife brought home 2 more 5 gallon ones and 2 - 3 gallon ones for me from safeway. Thick sturdy buckets and free...win/win.

Might do a 3 gallon in the 5 gallon for ease of watering (dunk watering). So much fun stuff to try and so little time...wait, I am not going anywhere. :grinjoint: (That I know of)

Hummm Mountain High needs more meds...and to the couch I go.:bongrip:

:peace: from the mountains on a fine spring day.
