OldMedMan's 2nd Grow 5 Strains and AirPots

Wow this journal cruises! Plants are looking healthy, and those air pots look great. Can't wait to see how they work out. I like the idea of air-pruning.

Well, Thanks NEPharmer:grinjoint:

So far I like everything about them. Gonna put some more out this week,
some of the veging girls are getting are about ready. Gonna make a couple of changes to the back yard, to get even more sun on them,:ganjamon:

G'day mate, I think those airpots are gonna surprise a few people with the results. I know what root pruning house plants can do so this should be the same. Should be interesting when you get the others in. Mahalo brah:peace:

OMM you win, hands down the grow container of the year award! LOL they do look cool. If I am not mistaken, don't plants with good drainage grow better than those that don't or In our case 'normal' pots. I know in the ground they do. Interesting to compare growth rate of equal size and strain plant. One in reg pot and one in a airpot.

Anyway I can see how your growing yourself out of room. Those ladies sure look sexy OMM!

Hi Woodsman Thanks for the compliment. OrangeBlood has a few in his grow too and a another link just for the pots, Looks like more and more people are getting used to them too. Yes, that's the word on them, fast good drainage which is really good for plants. I think that would be a great comparison, same strain and compare the different pots. Maybe next grow.

Finally got Joanne's entertainment center setup. Took two days. I am pooped. :smokin2: Still have the mess to clean up tomorrow. At least she's happy..:yahoo:

Mountain my Man, how does Abbie compare smokewise (different highs) with Lilbit and how were the trichomes colored at harvest

OMM, those pots are actually quite attractive looking. Seriously. Do you agree or are they not that good looking in person?

Perfect for out on the porch or deck when ya have guests over and you want your stuff to look it's best for the folks! I should show them to my wife. I'd say, "Hon, how would ya like to have several of those beautiful 'planters' OMM's got, for your plants on the deck this spring?" Then I'd say, "Why I could even use them for my 'little bitty plants' so they blend in better. I always tell her that they will be small plants, later I explain that it must be the wrong strain or the seeds got mixed up).

:passitleft: :passitleft:

Forgive my brief interlude OMM....

Lilbit is a power sativa high...up but maybe a bit not so medical, she is a bit too trippy, and after a couple hrs you can sleep great if you want. Her flavor is very mild overall, slight berry flavor and slight diesel.

Tess (just smoked some of her top bud to try her for real today), is wonderful high overall....nice blended high with no up pressure to do stuff and no real desire to sleep...and the powerful cherry taste makes her a wonderful smoke with far too little of her.

And Abbie had fatter leaves so I am thinking she leans towards the Indica side of life and she is about 50% amber everywhere I checked with patches of more and less around the new bud she threw. She is almost all Sour Diesel taste but not as strong as normal. She is only one that is harsh in the vaporizer, but she is the last harvested too....and well you know...you smoke her..alot...you forget...what you are doing...and want to find a comfortable spot...I am smoking her now and she is pouring her relaxing calm over me as we "speak".

I believe I will be making blends to smoke out of all three..will be fun trying different dominant's in the blends.

I kinda like the smooth curves on the airpots better...structurally speaking. Those straight line ones will tend to tear at each bend...in my head anyway (MountainHigh UL thought Lab). Seems like the Airpots would be less likely to ever have that problem and might tend to last longer...:ganjamon: I am sure a real engineer could tell ya. But curves over corners anyday...drastic increase in shear strength...:grinjoint:

OMM I smoked and rambled...RoorRip

Aloha my friend, Mahalo for just being you! :peace: from the mountains in a MAJOR winter storm...rain/snow here, but not up north.

Very nice :welldone:, she responded to the air pot (we knew she would), but is always nice to be right instead of Murphy kicking you in the gonads...:grinjoint:

As always, much Aloha my friend. Keep up the great work...wish I could bring you some Abbie...tried her out this morning, just in case it was a fluke and within 1/2 hr being on the heating pad after smoking her I was out and couldn't help it...and didn't care. :yahoo: Great pain control too...best of the 3 girls by far...and being unconscious when I want to...now that is WIN!

Now if half her bottom buds weight wasn't seed she would be like my perfect nighttime smoke. Still pretty good. :peace:

Good Going Abbie Guess she liked you and did her best to be what you wanted:ganjamon: Good for you!:bongrip: Someday Buddy, someday.:grinjoint:
The AirPot seems to suit her just fine.:ganjamon: No Murphy yet....I don't wont to give him any Ideas.:smokin2:

Aloha from the Islands. :ganjamon:

Hope all is well brother. Best wishes.

Had to do go for sure.
My next door neighbor is a young mom with two kids and her husband is at sea in the Navy....think you know what that's like. Any way she is part of a Christian Support group for Navy wives and they help each other out and are good folks.
This afternoon and into early evening she had the weekly meeting at her house. When most of them were gone she realized her 4 year old daughter was missing. With in minutes the whole neighborhood was looking for her, me included. The street we live on is like a mini freeway so we were all kind of frantic. Took about 2 hours to find her. She was under a house about a block away, sleeping with a neighborhood dog. Go figure :ganjamon: Poor mom was in tears, but happy. She's a really good Mom and I think the poor kid will be watched under house arrest for a while.:ganjamon:

WoooWee. At least I had few flashlights to give out. Damn...never know whats coming next. :peace:

Glad it wasn't a major drama mate. Sleeping next to the dog. That's so cute.:grinjoint:
A mate of mine's 4yr old daughter had a real bad habit of trying to escape. They had to put alarms on all the windows and doors. Your right about the airpots. Every straight seam creates a weakness along it's entire length. Once they're out in the sun for a while they'd all start to split IMO. Especially second time around when you try and pack the soil in. :grinjoint::peace:

A one hit pot! orangeblood said his had holes develop on the non reinforced part. :smokin2:

What was strange this girl usually stays right by mom. Ya never know. I think she just got bored. Mom also has a son and he is glued to mom ever since her husband left for sea duty. Military families sacrifice allot, more than folks realize. :bravo:

I'm glad it turned well OMM.

We lost our daughter at a campground when she was 8-9 years old. It took about 10 minutes to find her; she had gotten lost going to the restrooms, which were about 50' away (chip off the old block), and I think I aged about 10 years in those 10 minutes.

And look how OUR governments have treated them over the years. It's pretty shameful. I guess you'd know that better than anyone.:peace:

Thanks Sun...me too.:grinjoint:

I guess we all go though those things. My youngest son went "Poof" at the end of an A's game once. Sold out game. After about 20 minutes up he comes riding on the back of a security guards motorcycle having a ball. Grrrrr but glad. :ganjamon:

Groover, Your talking about the fabric air pots are you not? Just to make sure.:ganjamon:

No mate. I mean the ones PapaG posted a pic of. The nobby bits all have square edges yet your airpots nobby bits are conical and nicely rounded.:peace:

Sure do, groover. Even though I have health care, I went from seeing my regular doctor every four months to over 8 months now unless I have an emergency. Then I get to go sit in the emergency room four to six hours and catch to the virus of the day thats going around in there. :smokin2::smokin2:
