OldMedMan's 2nd Grow 5 Strains and AirPots

Just a mild supercrop, pressure to crush the stem but not enough to cause it to fold on itself. On a plant that I intend to keep straight I would crush once on opposing sides just to give the hormones a little stir and generate some extra growth to help fill in the internode space. In my limited experience it seemed to help. Topping may do the job on it's own, so I wouldn't rush to do it.
I've used it on plants that seem stalled as well. They started back up but may have been ready to restart on their own.

Great looking plants.

I agree wih everyone else - don't be afraid to prune them. Being an active gardener and pruning is the #1 thing that has improved my yield - more than all the gear combined or any nute or addative. Just cutting and pruning right will easily double or triple the yield from a given plant.

:peace:

I'm not sure if this was mentioned before, but here goes! At what point are you supposed to give the roots a haircut? One at a time or when it becomes over grown..... I hope this isn't a stupid question!:grinjoint:

Air/Light + root = pruned. :peace: No question is stupid if you don't know the answer.

Lookin good OMM, good choice on deciding to top them again, it will pay off in the end. Their looking very healthy and vibrant. Keep it up. Peace

Thanks my friend I topped em all even the short ones I planted today. Bushy here we com.:ganjamon:

OK, now I remember and thanks for the reminder.:ganjamon:

If needed will do. I didn't want to LST them, just wanted to see how high they would get. :ganjamon: However if there are not allot of bud sites, I may try something else like super cropping. I do want to get a good harvest to hold me over. Between this grow and next maybe a couple of months. We need to fix this place up and sell it. If we succeed, then I'll be moving. Since it would be just me then, I'll be sure that I can grow in peace.:ganjamon:
That grow would be some ass big Sativa s:yummy:

Right on and Thanks PaPa. I may even be asking you what you think in certain situations. First I want to get them settled down and healthy. The AirPots maybe just the thing to grow healthy with. :ganjamon:

Oh! Man! You mean I can't ask stupid questions? I'm really good at that, that would be traumatic to me. :ganjamon:

Actually, they prune themselves. Supposedly when the roots hit the air they die naturally. Self pruning. Actually, when I planted the last two today and was packing in the soil, like instructions tells you too, I thought to myself "Roots are going to plow through there?" Guess we will see. To me, they are big ass pots.

It was a relief to get them out of the house. I've cleaned the Cabs and kind of packed them up until next time. One thing less to worry about.:ganjamon:

howdy,
out wondering around tonite, so here i am...wow, those are some nice looking plants...so are they outside now, i've never grown outside....i bet they do gorgeous....

dont know whos post it was, but i love the blue man group....

also, there is somekind of a paint that can be put in the pots that kill off the roots when they touch it, but is not toxic...read about it somewhere...but these pots look really nice...never seen one before...enjoy, and great job...lavendar:rollit::reading420magazine:

Hey High How are you this evening?:grinjoint:

Your answer was exactly right as usual.:ganjamon:

Most of the time, when we ask a question, we know the answer and just want to make sure. Normal human behavior. When a I taught college, I would see it all the time. Sometimes if I played it right, the student would answer his own question and would be very happy about it. I did love teaching, it gave me a chance to be the center of attention, what more could you ask for? I was getting paid well to do something I loved. A rare thing in the work force.
Most folks hate they're jobs.:smokin2:

Aloha from the rocks in the middle of the sea.

Well, Welcome lavendar Nice to have you looking in.:grinjoint: I first saw these pots last year and was impressed with them. Up until now no one on 420 had tried them so I thought I would give them a try. There are two of us tying them now. OrangeBlood Has a grow that really explains them even more than I do.

Anyway very happy you're here. :ganjamon:

It was me about the Blue Men. Love em! :theband:

I know that stuff, Griffins SPin Out is one product. Contains copper hydroxide, the roots come to an eight of an inch or so then spin back into the center of the pot.
It's in the Grow Bible by Cervantes.

Aloha from the rocks in the middle of the sea.

Got back up...sleep wasn't happening. Back is acting up...trying to medicate enough to relax it. RoorRip

Teaching is an honorable profession. Good teachers are invaluable to a society. Wish our society placed a higher value on teaching. :smokin2:

Just smoked a little hit of Lilbit hash, ahhh that is better....:grinjoint:

Much Aloha OMM, is a windy cold night, storm laying heavy on the mountains. Maybe this little bit o meds will help soothe the storm from my joints...:ganjamon:

Cold weather Bro Makes me hurt all over. Not my back, but every where else. Hands mainly. Here's to you as I raise my new found pipe. :passitleft:

Man, just think if you didn't have Lilbit. Don't want to think about it.:smokin2:

High, over here they are laying off teachers from grades 1 to 12. The teachers have to take unpaid days off every week. The schools were bad before, but much worse now. What are they thinking....kids are our life blood.
Better stop before I blast away.......not going to do it and ruin a great high:ganjamon:

Sorry about the storm of cold on the mountains.:smokin2:

Aloha from one cold place to another. :peace:

I've graduated with honors from several courses. One of them was 'how to ask stupid questions' and the other was 'how to avoid looking stupid when asking stupid questions'. I take pride in both!.:rasta:

Those two courses sound like time well wasted! Where do I sign up?! lol

Are they on-line or in a classroom? I learn much better in a classroom environment. It's hard to be a smug little no-it-all when all your classmates are pointing and laughing!

I had know idea there was a class in this. Glad I was late for my how to stop procrastinating course:geek:.

I've already passed my 'how to procrastinate' course..Now that I've mastered that technique, I need to know how to stop. Maybe I'll attend the class next week. Or the next.

At this moment, I'm in the middle of some extensive Chem Dog research and may, or may not be unavailable for interviews at this time. Later, as I search for my way back from where ever it was that I may, or may not have gone to, I may or may not be available.

I have a course in 'indecisiveness' planned but I don't know if I will attend.:rasta:
