Sorry guys, I've been busy with a lot of 'post winter' (I hope) chores so I've just caught bits and pieces of your thread OMM. It's like 64 degrees here and that's the warmest yet this year. I'll be in and out today and will try to chime in when I can.

Hi All

I am down to the final 6 plants now and feel good about them all.

Papaya turned out to be a male and was chopped today. I also chopped the Bubblelicious male and cleaned up the mess. I deiced to do the seed thing in some future grow. Kept feeling that this wasn't the time, so he and whatever pollen I gathered went to never never land and I feel relived. I follow my feelings and things just didn't feel right.

So the strains will be.
1 Great White Shark
1 Bubblelicious
1 Strawberry Haze
1 Rocklock
1 Kandy Kush
1 Lemon Skunk

They all had another day in the sun and are sleeping right now.
I will try my best to get some new pictures up tomorrow.

Hi Sun Be glad to give you a multi strain fix. I think this is going to be a much better grow this time around. (famous last words) I do feel more confident this time around. I've sure picked a lot more knowledge and trying my best to apply it. The veg part is so much smoother than last time.

By the way, your doing a superb job with that competitive LED grow. Wonder how many more times your going say "this is about LEDs only" ? I also like how you keep tempers from over flowing. Folks get down right belligerent.
I thought you were the best man for the job and I still do. I know you grind you teeth a bit.

I think Setting Sun is doing a fine job, I go by and read there, the fervor people have about those lights. Not always a chill thread. He does well managing it (sometimes with the help of HappyKitty, she even paw smacked one of my posts in there ).

I kinda do. I kinda wish I had gone with a 400w. If I had known more about mover's I definitely would of. A 400w on a mover in my 6 foot long closet would of been ideal, I could of really stretched the girls lengthwise.

Well I know what to get when I can afford it and my lights work (pretty well) I guess.

You know last night I was too high to smoke my scissor hash , I put a little of it in my wake and bake this morning...I notice an entirely different high mixed with Lilbit (energy to it) . And I could taste the cherry in the hash...man I wish she wasn't a hermi bitch. Oh well, she can be my little special treat, like candy. Might end up trying to find a cherry strain...she really smelled so nice. Not like pot at all.

I am interested in seeing what that Rocklock will do outside. In almost every grow I see it in, it has bigger cola's than most if not all the other strains it is being grown with. I am actually considering buying some. Kinda wish I had bought seeds a month earlier and got that deal at Attitude.

(I also have been having seed making reconsideration, I am gonna clone them though and put my clones in hempy since I have hydro nutes anyway, and keep the clones for mothers and grow these strains for a bit, til I feel I got my money's worth, then move on to my next ones. By then I will have gotten a wild hair and made seeds I am sure.)

High I agree some of them are really into those lights, they remind me of Don Quote swinging their swords at windmills.

The set up you have in your mind sounds perfect for your space. Adds to want list.

No worries about the Papaya. I was going to kill one anyway to get down to my limit and I have more papaya seeds for another day. Sure was a pretty plant.

Got me down to my legal limit. I was going kill one or give it away, so its all good. I really didn't want to make that choice. Probably would have been that one anyway.

Got me down to my legal limit. I was going kill one or give it away, so its all good. I really didn't want to make that choice. Probably would have been that one anyway.

I bet it still hurts to destroy one of your children. I made my wife pull the one male i got so far. I couldn't bring myself to do it. Sometimes I'm such a softy.

Nicademus it gets easier and easier to kill males as you do more grows. I still rememeber one I did on a isle in the Sacramento River delta. I had like 30 plants going. I had even fixed a good watering system where all I had to do was turn the pump on for a half hour every 3rd day. Back then there was alot of heat on the delta a outfit called C.A.M.P.. The use to fly them one man planes all over taking pic's of the islands, so I didn't want to do alot of foot traffic. I had 'thought' I got the males out a month earlier. Well cops raided a island a 1/4 mile down river so ALL I did was sneak in and water. Well crop got seeded never the less to say. I sure wish I'd have seen the 3 or 4 males back then. Seeded my whole little island. Even ruined it for future grows. There were coming up every year on their own. I spent alot of time on that island, cutting back the brush setting up irgation system and all the good soil I brang in boat load by boat load. I bet today there is weed on that island.

Hey Wood, I never grew in the Delta, but I sure did smoke a lot out there! Used to go shore fishing there quite a bit, north of Rio Vista (Hap's Bait Shop). Lindsey Slough for Striped Bass and Catfish. A buddy and I would park up there, set up the rods (bells) and kick back, eat, drink and smoke! Never though of growing up there,but if I had a boat, that would have been different.

You've done a lot of reading and homework, so that's gonna pay off on this and all your future grows.

You seem to be someone who goes through life with eyes and ears open, taking what you want and leaving the rest. I try to do the same and it's worked well for me.

Your confidence isn't false, or arrogance, but the results of the footwork you've put in.

That's a great story. I used to live in sactown. Wish i was a grower back then. There are a lot of places you can grow on the rivers. Did you harvest any?
