ConqueringLOJ
MrDocGanja

Thanks you all for you kind words, well wishes, good vibes, and prayers. :Namaste:

We talked to the Doctors today and they all said she has to go through this painful experience to clear her body of all the meds she has been taking. When the test come back and they know for sure whats happening, they will start the appropriate meds. To bad they just can't flush her. That sounds terrible, but there should be better way. I do believe allot of this is happing this way because she is on Medicare only. Don't get old folks, your at their mercy. I have VA medical for life..it too is going down hill.
I am going to try to be on when she is sleeping. See you then and Thanks a Million for all your support! Omm :Namaste:

Note: They have forbidden her to take any kind of vitamins.
best of wishes to you and your wife omm.

You sure do pass on high spirits in a time of your own distress, we all may not know you if we saw you, but really care for you and your well being through the forum because of the constant great feedback and info given on top of always being just an all around great vibe on this site...I may not prey to most peoples god, but I do prey..For the well being of humanity in general with the exception of people like you who are individually preyed for and asked for mercy and wellness...Get yourself and Jo better and then us...We will be here whenever you have time for us my friend...I wish you great health and success along with Jo....Talk to you soon...:high-five:

OMM,

I'm so sorry to hear about all you two are going thru. Medicare sucks, I know. I've had it for the last 25yrs, it's getting harder and harder to get the things you need. And good care??, good luck with that. I try very hard NOT to get sick.

What kind of vit's does she want to supplement? You can get all kinds of vit's from fresh fruits and vegies. What can she eat?

Be sure to let us know if there is anything WE can do to help. We're here for you both.

Hi sqwheels :)
Thanks for your kindness. Jo can't eat citrus at all. Also any thing with tomatoes in it. She has acid reflux bad, what's what caused them to look in her... Still no word from the Doctors yet.

Today, she is moving around with not too much pain, so I'm happy about that. :)

25 years! You poor thing. It's a fight for her to get the attention she needs. I am sure you know that story well. I understand that the President is changing Medicare again. Who knows what will be taken away next. :smokin2::smokin2:

OMM, lots of peeps don't understand how hard it is for not only Jo but yourself.. It's not easy watching someone you care about suffering, and is quite taxing on the both of you.. I hope Jo gets to feeling better and they get it all figured out.. You stay strong and hang in there, think positive, and make her smile when you can....
They have water heater containment pans that may work out for you to, they are fairly cheap at HD/Lowe's and hold a good amount of water, they are circular though and don't cover the full foot print of the tent, but if you can arrange all your pots in there then it may work. Then it is just a quick vacuum to get up the runoff...

Hi My Friend! :) Well, that is true, it hurts us both in a way, however this is not new too us, we're both older than dirt and have had many times like this. We just don't want that really bad thing to come along and it has to happen to us someday. We have dodged allot bullets already. :) Thank you for you good wishes, That is one thing I try to do, is make her smile. Of course that's hard to do when she isn't sick! ;)

I found the water table trays at the local Hydro store. I hope they are bit flexible, all I have is hatchback to pick them up in. If Jo feels like she did today, Ill try to get them tomorrow. Thanks for telling me about them.:)
Also the other trays too. :)

Sorry to hear about the health problems in your Home and to the people you love Be IRIE said it so well " OMM, lots of peeps don't understand how hard it is for not only Jo but yourself.. It's not easy watching someone you care about suffering, and is quite taxing on the both of you.. I hope Jo gets to feeling better and they get it all figured out.. You stay strong and hang in there, think positive, and make her smile when you can.... " a smiile can brighten the darkest day my wife has taken care of me for the last 6 years i love her more now then when we got married it just gets beterer and beterer i know that aint a word but it sounds good stay strong OldMedMan and keep her smileing God Bless you and yours :Namaste:

Thank You papatater. :bravo:
Well, she feels better! She just came down here to see me wearing a new sun shade she found a while back, We both laughed out loud about it. She is a tough old bird. I just hope it continues. Next week will tell how she really is. I try to stay positive in all things I do, any thing else is waste of time.
Hopefully it shows.
You sound like a happy couple. You wife is a champ. She meant it when she married you...through thick and thin....she does it! It's easy to see why you love her more and more. You just gave me some warm fuzzies!
Thanks for the kind words, Mate! :bravo:

OMM,
the girls are looking good. How do you feel about the tent and the strives you have made indoors.

Well, my Friend....I like it! :) It's starting to give me confidence that I can grow indoors.

There are few things I didn't think about. When I grew outdoors I ran around wearing a T-Shirt and shorts in the warm Hawaiian weather. Always left the doors and windows open. Now I bundle up like crazy. I am cold in here with the ac going all the time. Anything below 80 is awful . :yahoo:

I'm using some concrete mixing tubs from HD. They're rectangular and come in two sizes. The smaller ones (22X26 approx) were $5 each and are about 8 inches tall (you can see a pic in my new journal). I don't recall how big the larger ones are, but I think they were about 24x36ish.

I wish for the best for you and Jo. I have followed your other journals and need to catch up on this one.

Hi stevehman ! :)

Thanks for the info...I just saw them in your grow. We just started really, so it wont take long to catch up. Thanks for looking in and the info. :high-five:

I still like the idea someone said earlier about us camping in that big ole tent, definately cover tha smells of your fellow campers with those beauties!!:)

:high-five::):cheertwo: You got it..no smells! Your To Much man! :)

Telling someone they cant take vitamins just sounds fishy to me. I'm honestly not a very paranoid person. I'm just saying. I do know how people get treated sometimes while on medicare, and it's not right. Another day, another prayer for a comfortable recovery for Jo, and for you to know that you are doing all you can. Dont let the pressure get you feeling worse, no guilt etc....You're a good man....MLAR-Quix

Hay there Quix. ;)

Well, I just answered you and poof another message gone to nowhere land.
Well actually taking vitamins on an empty stomach will get you. It did me.
More than once too. Well, what we do for older folks and others who have problems is a shame. I've lived in countries that honor their old. Wisdom and all that. Look at TV and magazines we worship youth. Jo when she went on Medicare, had to apply over and over for months. Lost paperwork, you name it.

I do what I can for her and always will. We've been together a long time. I would like to think that I would do the same for anyone with problems. I don't feel guilty about this, I really do try to do all I can. Goes with the territory. :)
She has done it for me in the past! We might not like each other at times, but when it's crunch time we are there for each other. :high-five:

The Ladies look healthy and happy OMM. I guess you did not recieve the positive vibes I sent, it may take a while I'm very far from HI. Plus the jet stream is going against me. I hope they get there soon.

For a Dr. to tell some-1 not to take vitamins sounds crazy to me. I question everything and google even more. I hope Jo starts to feel better, Yes Life will get you down If You Let It...

Keep your head up Buddy!!

:peace:

We got them my friend! :) Send some more! :yahoo:
See the above about vitamins. They can get you. Well, today was a good day for her and next week we should know more. The waiting is a bit of a bitch. Thanks for the encouragement old friend! :)

Will be praying for you guys everytime I bow my head, my friend. Keep you chin up and her hand in yours, amazing how powerful the healing of another's touch can be..

You are one positive soul Brother.....Thank you! :hugs:

You are officially nominated now for MOTM!!! Should be MOTY!!! Congrats my friend, you deserve it!!!!:bravo:

Thank You! :)

Maybe we should wait until we see how this grow goes first. :)

The thought is what counts. I appreciate it, believe me! :high-five:

OK willoby! That's enough. I have tears in my eyes now. :) That was very very nice thing to say about anyone. I don't pray either..I'm more like life is what you make it kind of guy. More of a "All is One" person. We are all in this together. It's just as easy to be happy as It is to be a downer. You spread the cheer, just as I try to do. :high-five:

Hello OMM! Just getting caught up and sorry to hear Jo still isn't feeling well. Thoughts are with you both! Great job of adapting to that indoor climate!
