OldMedman Goes Indoors

Hello OldMedMan! I'm RVG, I think I maybe stopped in once a while back when I gave you a compliment on a pic of a grow that had main colas that were as big as our forearms :adore:.....Anyways, I hope Jo is going to get better or at least some relief from her symptoms, and that you both find strength to weather this storm together. I'm hope I'm not too late for this indoor event of yours...Sorry, I myself, was off here for a few weeks recently due to a move & illness of my own I deal with & missed the beginning of this one by a week or 2 but I hope I can stand here in the back row, I don't mind!::shhh: I promise to be quiet and not touch anything!!! BEST WISHES TO JO & YOU, OMM! & I pray for you to have a healthy and happy grow as well. Much L&R! RVG

Such a thoughtful guy. I appreciate that even with everything going on as far as with Jo, and how hard that must be for you both, you wanted to let us know "why" you'd be gone a day or two (and we do truly appreciate that!). Sending lots of positive vibes to you and Jo. So sorry to hear she has to go through this, and please remember to take care of yourself, too.

Best to you both ~

X

OMM! I wish you and Jo all the best. I hope she feels better and gets well soon. Positive vibes are coming your way!! Jah Bless!!

HighDive, I hope for your sake they move out soon. ;)
That's a good question. Been giving it allot of thought. The door to the back yard is only a few feet away. Could take them out and water them, but my back wouldn't like it too much. I think some kind of trays would be best. I have a shop vac and could suck the water out of the trays. Even though the tent has two mylar trays, they are going to get really messy. I also veg plants in a closet and have done it for a year or two. I have yet to find something that works, but doesn't kill me in the process. Maybe some one else can give me some help in that area. Good point! :bravo:
i bought a bunch of them cheap dollar trays from walmart . i water with one under it let it sit for a min put a clean one under it and dumb the runn off from the old in a bucket. it is a cheap way to deal with the problem i would like trays my self thou then drain them to a bucket but this is cheap and effective them tray are expensive.

We talked to the Doctors today and they all said she has to go through this painful experience to clear her body of all the meds she has been taking. When the test come back and they know for sure whats happening, they will start the appropriate meds. To bad they just can't flush her. That sounds terrible, but there should be better way. I do believe allot of this is happing this way because she is on Medicare only. Don't get old folks, your at their mercy. I have VA medical for life..it too is going down hill.
I am going to try to be on when she is sleeping. See you then and Thanks a Million for all your support! Omm :Namaste:

Note: They have forbidden her to take any kind of vitamins.

OMM,

I'm so sorry to hear about all you two are going thru. Medicare sucks, I know. I've had it for the last 25yrs, it's getting harder and harder to get the things you need. And good care??, good luck with that. I try very hard NOT to get sick.

What kind of vit's does she want to supplement? You can get all kinds of vit's from fresh fruits and vegies. What can she eat?

Be sure to let us know if there is anything WE can do to help. We're here for you both.

By the way...Great Pics, thanks. Take Care.

OMM, lots of peeps don't understand how hard it is for not only Jo but yourself.. It's not easy watching someone you care about suffering, and is quite taxing on the both of you.. I hope Jo gets to feeling better and they get it all figured out.. You stay strong and hang in there, think positive, and make her smile when you can....
They have water heater containment pans that may work out for you to, they are fairly cheap at HD/Lowe's and hold a good amount of water, they are circular though and don't cover the full foot print of the tent, but if you can arrange all your pots in there then it may work. Then it is just a quick vacuum to get up the runoff...

Sorry to hear about the health problems in your Home and to the people you love Be IRIE said it so well " OMM, lots of peeps don't understand how hard it is for not only Jo but yourself.. It's not easy watching someone you care about suffering, and is quite taxing on the both of you.. I hope Jo gets to feeling better and they get it all figured out.. You stay strong and hang in there, think positive, and make her smile when you can.... " a smiile can brighten the darkest day my wife has taken care of me for the last 6 years i love her more now then when we got married it just gets beterer and beterer i know that aint a word but it sounds good stay strong OldMedMan and keep her smileing God Bless you and yours :Namaste:

I'm using some concrete mixing tubs from HD. They're rectangular and come in two sizes. The smaller ones (22X26 approx) were $5 each and are about 8 inches tall (you can see a pic in my new journal). I don't recall how big the larger ones are, but I think they were about 24x36ish.

I wish for the best for you and Jo. I have followed your other journals and need to catch up on this one.

OMM,
the girls are looking good. How do you feel about the tent and the strives you have made indoors.

I still like the idea someone said earlier about us camping in that big ole tent, definately cover tha smells of your fellow campers with those beauties!!:)

Telling someone they cant take vitamins just sounds fishy to me. I'm honestly not a very paranoid person. I'm just saying. I do know how people get treated sometimes while on medicare, and it's not right. Another day, another prayer for a comfortable recovery for Jo, and for you to know that you are doing all you can. Dont let the pressure get you feeling worse, no guilt etc....You're a good man....MLAR-Quix

The Ladies look healthy and happy OMM. I guess you did not recieve the positive vibes I sent, it may take a while I'm very far from HI. Plus the jet stream is going against me. I hope they get there soon.

For a Dr. to tell some-1 not to take vitamins sounds crazy to me. I question everything and google even more. I hope Jo starts to feel better, Yes Life will get you down If You Let It...

Keep your head up Buddy!!

:peace:
