Old Strains - New LED Light!

You have got to love it when Plan B works, kiinda :yahoo:

The Final trained shape of the Maui Wowie, for now

Day 33 of 74

I'm officially calling stretch Over :yahoo:

Average per day growth over the last four days is from 1/4" - 1/2"

Feed is now 5g/gallon of MC...

Looks like the Acapulco Gold is the only thinking this is a tiny bit too much ;)

Buds are starting to show their potential for stacking

Two and a half weeks of active stretch is a bit long but not that excessive. Measuring vertical to the bent then horizontal around to the tip, how much did she end up stretching in total? Curious how tall she would have been with out intervention.:morenutes:
I would guesstimate another two feet, so + six feet in total 😵

Day 35 of 75

The Girls received a little more lollipopping last night and I removed some interior fan leaves that were shaded..

Hawaiian Snow > this is the baby of the group by five days and in coco. Just for the heck of it she has been getting the same feed as the rest. She was a bit light in color so I increased her feed from 4g to 5g/gallon and within two days she has greened up nicely. I have also started feeding from the top until I hear/see run off into the reservoir. Currently shy of 1/3 gallon per day and maintaining that level in the reservoir.

No ph down and no Cal/Mag, the Train Wreck and NYC Diesel I had in 2 1/2 gallon fabric bags with coco were actually the greenest of the bunch ? Only difference was the containers and of course the top watering for the fabric bags..

Eight tops and 16 1/2" tall. Removed a few bottom bud sites that should be enough for a taste :bongrip:

Day 35 of 76 HS 01 Dec.jpg

Acapulco Gold > pretty well exactly what I was hoping for, 26" tall and stacking nicely !

Day 35 of 76 AG 01 Dec.jpg

Columbian Gold > another perfect fit for my space at 25" tall and stacking golf ball sized buds

Day 35 of 76 CG 01 Dec.jpg

And now we have the Maui Wowie, my Over Achiever or Problem child, depending on how you look at it 😆

In hindsight I should have started her secondary training earlier when it was obvious she was stretching 3X as much as the others 😵

Not really an issue, just had to get creative with cat litter boxes to raise the others :yahoo:

At roughly 45" I super cropped and pulled her down to 38" and a few days later pulled her three tallest colas into the center, currently she is back to ~46" tall with no further stretch :yummy:

Day 35 or 76 MW full 01 Dec.jpg

Her business end 😆

Day 35 of 76 WM top 01 Dec.jpg

Overall I'm glad I tried coco but see no advantage (for my relatively low budget grow) over my old faithful ProMix HP

I am also totally sold on guadlining ! This is the first time I've taken things to this extreme but it won't be the last !

When I now see lush full "natural" flowering plants all I see is trim jail and lesser sized buds :yahoo:

I also have zero regrets moving to LED and also no regrets I didn't go for a more powerful light !

It looks like yields will be at least what I was getting with my 600w HID and that is More than Enough....

The final proof will be in the :bongrip:

Ladies are looking awesome Chuck!🥰👊. You're a good Sugar Daddy😎

Measured my ppm's today, I'm at 750 !

Everyone is Happy but I may bump the Hawaiian Snow a little, she could be greener :yummy:

It just so happened all four girls fit directly under the 42" x 42" footprint of the light, tops range from 3" to 11" away from the bars @100%.

Praying, no canoeing, no other visible issues so I'm going to go with this is maxing out the lights potential

With the exhaust fan set for 76 at the average top bud height the rh is about 46%. With my heater my night temps are about 74 but rh climbs to 62 -64%.

Only one setting on the fan controller so I'm debating turning my heater up !

It is mostly convenient that I plug in the heater at the end of their day but so much for aiming for lower night time temps ?

Day 40 The Girls 5 Dec.jpg

Decided to turn my heater down to 72 at night, rh was 60% at lights on...

Once things warmed up and my exhaust fan started to kick in the rh quickly dropped to 50%.

It will shortly get much colder here so rh should be back to where I like to see it for the rest of flowering !

Hawaiian Snow got a half gallon of 5.5g/gallon of MC, ppm 792 And a plug of styrofoam to bring her up to canopy level.......

This should be the last height adjustment needed :yahoo:

Those cooler night temps will make some nice terpenes. As long as you are bellow 70RH with good air movement in the tent she should be good. It is a three way balance of temp, moisture and air flow. Any one can offset the other two. Low temp and high RH can be balanced with high air flow rate across the plant.

You're preaching to the choir @Sativa1970 ;)

I have a 7" fan on the floor at the back pointing slightly up and counter clockwise and a large oscillating fan at the front in the middle !

Between them and smaller daily waterings I've kept the white fuzzies on top of the mediums at bay :yahoo:
