TODAY WAS A GREAT DAY!!!

I gave a friend some tix to a basketball game and he gave me 2 6 week old big healthy plants... Only problem is they are in dirt... I can deal with that.

My plan is to build a clone machine tomorrow. Take some clones from these 2 nice ladies. Build a clone stock for the next 2 weeks and turn these two to flower... Things are looking up.

Oooops... These are 6 week old G-13 Haze plants.

Corey, Question for you brotha, Should i use these same nutes for these dirty ladies? Everything else is hydro... Remember I got the 2 part with Liquid Blue Bloom Booster. Any help would be great. Do you also have any Cal Mag or reccomend any perticular kind?

Any way they look great, Can't wait to start pulling clones off of them tommorrow and moving these into flower in the next 2 weeks.

Again should I add some of the BPN 2 part to my new soil bound girls or is it just for hydro?

Ladies look great. Unfortunately dealing with new crop of crawlers. I have been working on that all weekend since I got them. SNS217 to the rescue. I sprayed all my current little ones friday night and sprayed the new additions before adding them and 3 more times. I also went in and squished any crawlers I saw. Tonight I will go back in and rub each leaf with bug soap then respray them with SNS217 again. I want this under control quickly. Today I will go and pick up and add another no pest strip too.

I also have my clone machines 90% done. I made 2 so I could do just what I need and not use too much space. I made an 12 position and a six position machine yesterday. I will see which I like better or which works better. I will be taking clones from the new
G-13 haze soon and should be filling my room very quickly. I still have 1- #2 and 4- sputnick along with 1- Lavender Kush seedling left. So total of 8 plants in different stages. The strange thing is I did my research on hydro and now I have 2 soil plants... I know nothing about them...

Any help/advice would be appreciated....

Just a quick update. Checked the ph on all pots last night and no change on them. Looks like the airstones in the buckets are helping to hold the ph to the correct level. They were 6.3-6.7. I lowered all back to 6.0.
With the cold spell we have had, I added a heater and the room is holding well at 68-75 RH is 25-30%.

The roots all look great, especially after adding the airstones.
The 2 new plants also look great.. I did find a couple bugs on the new plants I was given. I have sprayed them with SNS217 several times. All the other plants were sprayed as a precaution before getting these plants. Glad I did. Just don't know how one plant can have bugs and the one next to it doesn't. But All is going well. Clone machine just needs glueing together, I will do that tonight. I will let it sit for a couple days and take clones by Saturday. I also spoke with someone and am getting 2 Da Purps and 2 GranDaddy Purps clones in 3-4 weeks.
I will determine the healthiest plants and keep them and torture the least healthiest just to see what they do.(and because they didn't perform)

Suggestion: go to home despot and grab a gallon of Home Defense in the gardening area (or wally world). Spray the shit out of the area floor around your grow room and entry walkway to the room. I did this 3-4 times over a 3 week period (shits supposed to last for months but I want to be sure) before my grow and have since sprayed 2-4 times since, though more carefully since plants are growing.

This stuff will help prevent bugs from getting into your grow. I try not not where clothes I was just outside in when I enter my area. I have forgotten a cpl times. And sprayed the entry way when I realized. Imho, it's a cheap preventative save to your grow from plant infestation. I have been fortunate so far *knock on wood* in that I hear in this area everyone has mite/thrip problems and I have not.

Thanks Bman. I am very careful like that. I was told that a friend was giving me these 2 plants in exchange for some spots tix I offered him and I started to prepare. Someone said you have issues if you bring anything in from outside your room. Well Friday I knew I was getting these. He said they were clean and healthy. I sprayed my current plants with SNS217 friday and right before entering the room with the new plants. I then sprayed the new plants. I found several bugs, but only on one plant. I have been treating since.

Well all I can say is the plants LOVED the BPN 2 part. I gave them 2ml of each and there is obvious new growth. I wanna give them more. I plan on adding 3.0ml on sunday. Slowly raise the nute level.
The new additions I gave a shot of water to but not much. Soil still somewhat damp. They look great. The SNS217 worked very well I haven't seen anything in a couple days. Sprayed again tonight just in case.
The clone machine is complete and functions very well as directions said. I will take the time to really fire it up this weekend and load it to capacity. I figure I will max out my veg room and let the leaders move on to flower while keeping the clones coming to fill the empty places.
Like I said the plants seem to be in a sweet spot or cruise control phase. 1 plant #3 has small new growth but looks pretty bad and is the smallest. She might have to go. All the plants showed improvement after adding 3 new air pumps and airstones. Nice roots in the buckets.
Can't wait to add more nutes...

I have a question. I hope that someone can answer it for me. Not much activity around this thread lately.

Question is: Why do some plants have 5 leaves and some have 7 leaves? I know some have more... but I have 5 and 7 leaf plants and wonder what the difference is besides the number of leaves?

I have seen weird things that are wrong, like 5 leaf plants are male and 7 are female... WRONG- FALSE - NOPE NOT TRUE!

Of the seven plants I have all but one are 5 leaf and the 1 is 7. All are female.

Just made me ask why? And with the internet still didn't get an answer...
So I figured with all the knowledge here I would ask.

OK so I found a page... this is what it says...

Pot leaf, pot leaves and pot plants pictures
Pot leaf comes with 3, 5 or 7 fingers. The better the pot plant is grown, the more fingers the leaves have. Averaged $20US per bucket with pump. Oh then I added about $10 more when I added more pumps and airstones. Approxamately
