Oh No - It's A Green Hole! - Reverse Thrusters! - Dammit - Too Late!

Have you tested that theory without sending it Chimp?

Hi. PotChimp. Nice to see you. :) No such thing as overnight express where i am - not that I'm expecting any clone shipments- just dreaming of the glorious future. I figured with the little LED everything's that are available now they'd have a light source. What else do they need? A trickle of oxygen and some warmth I think.

Maybe not even that, Weaselcracker. This is from what I bred out from a Chem D variation. I've been thinking of topping it, so I decided to go ahead with an experiment:

I tried to get some gel into the tube, but the opening is too small. What was on the stem mostly stayed on, but I would suggest a piece of rockwool taped around where the gel is and slightly moistened:

I rolled it into a piece of parchment paper (didn't have any newspaper) and carefully pushed and twisted it in leaves first, then put tap water into the tube and turned it upside down (letting the excess water drain out onto a paper towel):

I'll get back with you in 3 days with the results. :)

Note; The parents of this typically weren't easy to clone in the past, but all the other plants I have going on right now that I could have taken a cutting from are all hard to clone too.

You think so? I suppose it is a large amount. Somehow it doesn't seem all that much when I look at it here. But- it is more than I ever had before. Before the journal started I was just running one light most of the time. Also, the general rule for me has been that- whatever can possibly go wrong, will go wrong, so I wasn't necessarily expecting many of these plants to work out.
This will have been my most succesful run to date assuming disaster doesn't strike the PC section of the grow. This summer I took on the responsibility of providing for two patients- with a third who is in the process of getting her medical approval. The two main guys each have a maximum allotment of 150 grams (5 ounces+) a month- though I haven't been able to provide nearly that much. My average plant seems to produce about 3+ ounces- and they all take over three months to flower, if they finish succesfully which they often don't. The last few plants I've managed to limp home though. The GSC as I mentioned turned out to be 'complete shit' Lol. The WW is very questionable still. Mama Thai was past her prime and had seeds, but the blueberry was good, and the PC looks good. :thumb:
I was going to run this journal till...? Maybe till all the plants I started with have been harvested. Than maybe I'll switch something up a bit.
Now that I'm down to five flowering plants for the near future- I may shut down one light.
I like the idea of providing for the patients and it has been a surprisingly nice feeling to be able to help people on top of indulging in the hobby. Im going to reassess the situation after the next harvest and decide what to do. Maybe there's no need for me to be managing 8 plants an I could just go down to 4 under one light. To date it's been mostly a trade system and more often than not I'm trading herb for salmon and vegetables and jars of homemade jelly! :)

Geez, where the hell are you living! :) That barter system sounds like something Id like to try out.

The system of trade is part of the traditional native culture here and goes back many millennia. We are still blessed with many natural local foods and treasures and trading and gifting them is as natural as breathing.
You can try it ClosedCircuit. It takes people some getting used to maybe- but once they try it, it might seem second nature. It's a way that both parties can actually profit and be happy. It's nice doing things without money. We need money, but it's nice to be free of it too.

Cool experiment PChimp, and interesting timing that I mentioned it just as you showed up! Let me know how that turns out please. I think the technology is all in place. Cuttings could be made, tossed in the ClonePod, and be rooting as they travel. I know some people already send clones by overnight courier but it would be cool if longer distances were possible. In-country anyway, seems possible.

I would love to live where your at. you are truly lucky im jealous lol take it easy weasel

Weaselcracker!!!! Congratulations MOTM!!!! So well deserved. I couldn't be prouder.
