Day 76 - Not Much Changes
Except for a Self Inflicted Disaster

Other than the disaster of an unclosed valve leaking about a gallon into the tent, all is well.

I was trying to do good tidings. I drained the 12-gallon reservoir, cleaned it until shiny.
Made a fresh batch of nutrients, trying to keep it simple this time.
The only extras were a touch of extra Calcium and 2/3 dose of Flower Fuel.

At that moment, I thought it would be a good time to swap out my wire-mesh filter.
Thankfully, I did because when I looked in the floor was wet and the AquaValve Reservours were filling up as well.
The negative here is that I left the pendulum things up. Meaning, they would fill and fill.

I grabbed my electric hand pump and sucked everything up.

I was given a warning, I made a 3-gallon batch of nutrients by removing one gallon to do my mixing and dumped the 2 gallons of RO water in.

When I looked up at my wall-mount meters it was showing 3.56 EC. It is supposed to be around 2.50.
I didn't know that a gallon of clean RO water was leaking into the tent. I added a gallon back in and pH'd to 5.8.

Photos of the Day:
Let's start with my Troubled Child, the Critical Purple.
You know that girl who refuses her Quincinera and her passage into womanhood.
P.S. These are just iPhone pics. I'll get the good camera cranking this weekend.

Day 82 - Nothing Special

Critical Purple is starting to make hairy-little cotton swabs. They are not quite cotton balls.

Gorilla Glue is really in stacking mode.

Even without having many leaves, the Purple Pinapples are still bulking.

Mainly, #2 is still growing. They are on Trichome Watch.

Day 83 - Update on Critcal Purple

Quick reminder: Critical Purple was the plant that was supposed to be an Auto but turned out to have too many Photo genes. I switch the tent to 12/12.

After looking at these pics, scroll back to Day 77 and compare.

Full disclosure: A few days ago, I thought what do I have to lose with this one. So, I went in and did a leaf clean up, but I also chopped off satelite limbs with weak bud sites. They are limbs that made it past the early lolipopping, or grew in since.

This may have traumatised the plant (even more), but I wanted whatever energy this lady builds up to go to main colas and 3 or 4 nodes down. Every stem is a single stem with no side braches ... even if those branches showed potential for buds.

Meaning, this was not textbook technique.

Having said all of that, I think I see progress. Let me know if you feel the same?

The top down shots are definilty showing progress, but also look that the vertical pictures.

I'll save you from having to scroll back that far. All of the pics below here are from Day 77.

Day 85 - Critical Purple is Fully in Flower.

Cue the band, ready your speeches. Critical Purple will make her Quinceanera after all.

Everyone got a complete container flush yesterday (Day 85).
I took them back to the 2.4 EC and 5.8 pH that they normally live within.

Purple Lemonade #1 has stopped progressing. Just watching for Cloudy and Amber now.

Gorilla Glue keeps packing it on. She looks like a Stoner's Wedding Bouquet.

Note: Day 85 was yesterday (01/16/22)

Thank you.

I've been lazy and have been using the iPhone mostly.

The latest trikes are from one of those cheap wireless microscopes.

I have a great camera rig, and I've recently added a 9mm Macro lens, but the depth of field is not all the great with something as 3-D as our cannabis flowers. I'll keep trying though.

Wow. Just. Wow.

Amazing trich pictures. Amazing plants!

Just admiring another local grower!

Keep it up!
