Oct 2022 - Auto Grow - 4 Different Strains - AutoPots - Coco

Day 89 - Critical Purple
Finally in Her Groove

Flowers are forming nicely.

It's about time. : )

Day 89 - Purple Lemonades

PL#1 - Will probably harvest in the next few days.

One time I look, I see Cloudy and Amber.

Next time, clear ones are everywhere.

PL#2 - Still Feeding Like Crazy

I don't see a lot of new growth.

Remains under Trike Watch

Last week, I did have to add support wires because of new weight.

Day 91 - Purple Lemonade #1 Is Harvested

#1 isn't going to produce much yield, but she taught me a bunch of lessons about lighting.

#2 is still all clear and no cloudy.

I moved Gorilla Glue across the tent next to PL#2.

Critical Purple has all of one light to herself now.

Day 98 - Catching Up

It's been a while, but things are level and going well.

Purple Lemonade #1 has been in the drying room and is coming out for trim and curing today.

Purple Lemonade #2 is ready. There is no amber, but there are mostly cloudy trikes. I'm going to go ahead and chop her today.

Look at the Critical Purple pics. This thing has the potential to make monster buds.

Gorilla Glue is still mostly clear.

Mystery Plant is now 75 days old. Flowering seems to have leveled off.

Purple Lemonade #1 - Harvest Data

If you remember, this plant was shocked by watering over as a seedling.

To make it worse, she was also blasted with a Proton Bomb (too much light).

The lighting issue caused massive nutrient uptake.

The leaf burning was so bad that I should have called the fire department.

At one point, I had a thread out there asking if I should keep it or pull it.

I kept it knowing this would be the outcome. So here we are.

15 grams has been heat-sealed into a Grove Bag for curing.

She seemed a little dry, so I put a two-way humidity pack in there.

Normally, with Grove Bags there is no need for humidity packs.

90 days for 15 grams of purple boof. Yikes.

Next grow will be better. Avoid autos for a while.

Thoughts on my PL's Meager ROI:

Remember, there are 3 other plants in that tent, which are making flowers. Plus, there's the Mystery Seeds I moved away from the 12/12.

I could have pulled the two damaged Purple Lemonades but kept them because I had the tent committed anyway. My gut was to cull them, but figured what the heck.

Besides, <sarcasm alert> Purple Lemonade #2 might even double the yield of #1. :snowboating:

Gorrilla Glue is going to be decent.

And Critical Purple will end up the most I've ever gotten from one plant <in theory>. Of course it ended up being a Photo instead of Auto.

As for Photos next run -- FOR SURE.

I have some testers from Irie Genetics, Brothers Grimm and Jack Greenstalk (Podcaster) that I want to run.

The only Autos I grow from here on out are going to be Pedigree Breeders like Mephisto, Gnome & Night Owl, etc.

The testers I mentioned are a mix if Fems and Regs. I have sex kits packs already purchased and waiting.

Next Style of Grow:

I've been watching Northern Scrogger's videos and I really like his system. He builds his own frames and strings them himself, so he doesn't mind cutting the scrog away at harvest to pull whole plants instead of weaving limbs from the net one by one.

The problem there is that you can't run as many plants. He says 2 to 3 only in a 4 x 4. However, the colas from that style make up for the fewer plants.

This hobby seems to have limitless roads to travel down.

Day 87 - Mystery Seed - It's Time

  • I was holding back on this one to let a little more Amber fill in.
  • My goal was to create bed-time medicine.
  • She was grown from a "gift" seed that came from a Podcaster.
  • He would never say the strain, so it remains a Mystery.
  • I think she comes down tomorrow, Day 88.

I love mystery seeds! Yours is gonna be some dank! I have a batch going myself

I have enjoyed watching them mature! It's exciting not knowing!

Gorilla Glue - Harvest

Nothing impressive. Last grow was pretty much a write-off to multiple mistakes.

Nonetheless, my pretty little bouquet of Gorilla Glue yielded only 32g.

I normally don't include "shake" in the weight, but this shake was solid trichomes and will be smoked along with the bug when it hits the grinder.

As you can see, I cure in the Grove Bags. GBs don't normally don't require humidity packs, but I waited a little too long for trimming.

Critical Purple Update - From a Few Days Ago

This leaves only Critical Purple still left to harvest. She got a late start for flower because the Auto turned out to be a Photo.

I've heard of the two-way packs destroying aroma and flavor. Try adding a fresh leaf or piece of stem to bring humidity up.
