NuttyProfessor And His Herd Of Indigenous Microorganisms

It smells funny!

Hey...what are those fiber discs 'round the stem? Do we call it a trunk or a stem, btw?
I call it the main stem , I got them from a garden shop , asked the fella for a couple , toppers , I use them to keep down my blitzed perlite , and I spray them with oil , olbas and some neem , even vicks vapor a smudge around the base of the plants , puts mite off climbing and other things digging lol :thumb: Just until the plants are big enough

That's the one, but i think most breweries have their version.
I remember the strong Irish communities in London way back, shepherds Bush was another area, I remember as kid going into the pubs and the smell of the cabbage and bacon cooking.
Think I cooked in an irish pub in the bush , the swan or something it was called, and we used to do sunday roasts there also

All good no bad reports , little tip burn on the big cheese , maybe the roots hit some of those leaves I added to the soil when I built it lol ,
I had my post put to the right location the post where i was trying to ID a plant , it was moved to none MJ , i didnt even know there was a place on the forum for none MJ im so happy i can add my other plants now to the forum , I have been using jadam for every thing this year , my beets are massive , my tomato plants are looking the bees knees , every thing is just looking so dam healthy :Namaste: thank you mr Cho !

Sitting thinking and stoned I thought :hmmmm: what if I try coco/perlite BUT rather than synthetic try the JLF , I am going to try a 5 gallon pot with a 70/30 mix coco perlite but feed the JLF , treat like I would synthetic but using no salt based man made nutrients , if it works for dry amendments in coco I cant see why my goo wouldn't work too ,

Your thoughts ??

I am amazed at what you can do Nutty. Your plants sure do thrive.

He said to me you have chronic TMB

Love to see you try it. I've had the same thoughts using a seedling mix with no amendments, like 50:50 peat perlite.

Would be more like a bottle grow using home made organic nutes. Apparently feeding plant available nutrients makes the microbes lazy and the plants then become dependent on the grower to provide what's needed, so once you start you have to follow through.

I grow in small pots and those in the know tell me that the small pots won't hold enough pre-loaded nutes to make it through flowering, and are also too small to maintain an active microbe population so that's an experiment I have in mind as well.

Happy to have you go first, though. You seem to have the process pretty well dialed in.

As a disabled Veteran with a laundry list of ailments to include back trouble and my left leg from my knee down is paralyzed, I can say I feel for you immensely. These ailments and the Veterans Affairs medical staff shoving pills down my throat for ten years is the main reason for my cannabis use. I still have yet to find a strain that I can use while at work. I do ceramic tile and all types of flooring so I must remain focused and energized, unless you want a rollercoaster for a floor or have an epileptic seizure because the pattern makes you go cross eyed. :nervous-guy:Anyone ever had a strain that actually uplifts you and helps with focus? Even my white widow puts me in the clouds to the point that I lose focus and motivation

Why not try THC-A for daytime? Dr. William Courtney is a big proponent of using the non-heated bud. Since there is no psychoactive effect, one can use higher doses without the usual issues. THC-A supposedly attaches to different receptors in the brain so might give relief in a different way. CBD strains can also help if the pain is not nervous system related (like inflammation issues, etc.).

Might be worth a try, especially with home grown bud.

Are you looking for pain relief and focus? Or just focus? I like gelat.OG because I get really motivated and fairly focused. For pain relief it's ok. Not going to quell any major pain but it helps with my back and knee and....everything else. I feel comfortable using shop tools while using it as a medicine. Past a point it gives me manic A.D.D. lack of focus. I'm super happy and active...just nothing useful gets done.
