NuttyProfessor And His Herd Of Indigenous Microorganisms

Same , must give the ice a go , sick of heat patches , heat cream , back strap etc , i have spondylolisthesis, l1 l2 and l3 some arthritis and a little bulge on one on my neck . one wrong move i can be off my feed for 3 months and i take a lot of chance , once i stepped out just to put something in our bin and i was off my feet for three months , a nerve slips in and gets stuck or nipped ,
I had to crawl up door frames to get on my feet and piss in a jar if i couldn't get past the pain barrier to get up lol its terrible , only took 20 years to find out
Been there, hopefully no more.

Hey Bill. I have back issues too and find heat, although feels good, actually makes my problem worse. Ice is the trick for me. Hoping for fast recovery!
Thank you so much my friend. @StoneOtter I appreciate that very much.
Bill

Today is week (7) :ganjamon:
camera battery died lol

I have taught my self a valuable lesson , have more cal/mag on standby , once you see a mag def the plant is already starting to finish premature, your better to use more organic cal/mag in soil or a bottle that is available on demand , with the orange punch i noticed once the mag def set in she started to show orange pistols , this caught my eye and makes a lot of sense,

@Bill284 the one bottom right is the air pot mate, :goodjob: its few weeks behind like the fates petes

ok ,

we have orange punch this has a mag def that has sent it to go premature

orange bud was couple of weeks behind everything else and dug out of the fish box as i did not think these would outgrow my space so quick

Morning Professor, Squirrel sorry, just watching the most perfect orange and pink sunrise, gonna be a great day Love waking up and visiting your garden almost as much as mine. :drool:lol I have a reveged Blue Berry going and also had ,what I determined to be a mag deficiency. Pistols also started to show red, but being about six and a half weeks , I didn't connect the two. Squirrel my whole world has turned orange Thought this was a bit early as she is still filling in hard. The mag. deficiency has been corrected (showing no more spread) and I will keep a close watch on the pistols to see if that also slows or stops.:ganjamon:

i think us deeper organic growers tune in more and then we go from plant growers to plant whisperers lol

and found this after looking into it
Magnesium enables a plant's chlorophyll to capture energy from sunlight. Without magnesium, a plant cannot perform photosynthesis. Poor soil quality is a common cause of magnesium deficiency, resulting in yellowing between leaf veins and premature aging.

i am also thinking this would not be good for our microbe herd if the photosynthesis is reduced for too long , so my plan is to make up another microbe solution and water more in the next watering , I will use the microbe herd i have captured and cultivated before as so far they are working together

That's a golden nugget of information. Good observing Nutty! Mag is my weak link in my soil mix that I'm adjusting. I gotta get that right so I can relax during the grow a little more.
Thinking of adding some extra dolomite next time to a top dress of compost, dolomite and peat , around 2-3 weeks into flower once stretching slows

And you zeroed in on where I question my input. I have garden lime I'm using. It has a very high mag % in it as I remember. I wonder though. It doesn't state dolomite on the bag and if that's my issue.

If its fine like powder its most likely dolomite it will be pure white also :thumb:

That's the stuff, so I don't know. Maybe just more? I've been adjusting with epsom as I build my pots. When I get a good grow I should know the amount to add when I amend to cook. Very time consuming.
they can all come different sizes and shapes ,
i have already done the orange punch as she is the smallest i top dressed with some dolomite added , its in front of all the rest so ill maybe add some to them now as i know the soil is loosen it around this week , it never harmed the orange punch so ill do it now today , ive a top flower dress put together :) , ,

So i topped dressed the white widow , i think i should have done this at week (5) so this is why its a detailed journal a daily thing

i sieved some amendments and blitzed some so they break down faster, bone meal , seaweed, potash, dolomite , rock dust ( the dusty grains ) , coffee grounds ,Epsom salts , added about half gallon of the peat, dressing about a half cup .

i removed some soil from the top of my pot to make room.
used peat because of the extra lime want something acidic also and because how it holds and releases nutrients

, i watered the other day and plants are still heavy , so i made up a bucket and wet the top dress so it can start working , added it to the top , ill water just the top dress over the next day or two before watering in full with more microbes , i am hoping this will send nutes down through the medium , then when drys a bit holds on to the nutes again , water it lets go again ,
in my head i know so here is some pics so it makes sense to you lol :ganjamon:,

Warning shots i seen first random purple leaf stems
random branching purple , like rhubarb
P1160411.JPG

later buds mature too quick growth slows notice the rhubarb stem :)

P1160414.JPG

Later
plant a lighter shade of green
leaves have Yellowing between the leaf veins
it seems to affect Nitrogen and Phosphorous a little too but not too much as far as i see
Leaves fall off completely
Growth slows right down
If this is not caught early then mag can really make a big dent in your yield , i see it with the orange punch , but what a great lesson to learn its priceless :ganjamon:

Wow nutty. I'm away from my website device for a couple hours and I miss a ton of good stuff.
You have been busy today.
Everyone is looking healthy and happy. :bravo:
Even the microbes are happy. Hehe.

I may have that going on in my Red Sky. She's going light green at the halfway flowering mark. Also going purple on tops. I never know whether it's a "Fade" or what you just mentioned. Can't hurt, I know I was low in mag earlier in the grow and added. I was thinking about some epsom earlier when I was watering.
