Nutty & His Antics

if its doing well , i would just leave it to see how it grows :thumb:

I think this explains what's in my head better than my weak wording skills

Also Nutty...what are your thoughts on using furnace water for pH down? I think it's just dilute nitric so it should be ok. I've been thinking about your tests and want to get away from phosphoric.

300 seeds wow They are autos right. There must be somewhere you can sprinkle them and have an outdoor garden. I have a bag of blue dream regs, I'm thinking of sprinkling in the garden infont of the police station. That would make a great picture on front page of the telegraph. A nice big auto right infront of Police Station. In a flower garden. Your garden is looking great and your mixes blow me away. I'm going to use some of your mixes this summer for my girls outside.
Great stuff.

Thanks be nice to see other people getting some results , it can just keep getting better mate , i really enjoy looking into the organic side of thing along with a coco run , there is not as big of a world tied to synthetic nutrients , its good to get better results every time yes , but the smoke is completely different ,its far nicer , more potent and more smells and flavors , i found that every time its better end product in soil by a mile , reason i try to end the coco with the seaweed extract in the last few weeks
@Bill284

ps that would be a laugh , i found a spot near a rive i might drop a few pots down to ;)

I grew outside last summer in coco. Never again. Got a 12' jher and a dozen others the work was endless. I'm using your recipes and I'm only growing 2. In a greenhouse. I'm really looking forward to tasting the difference I've never grown in soil before, let alone a great Nutty brew. How is the jumbo auto grow. I hope you get the zip count you want id love to see what a 7 ounce auto looks like.

@Bill284 i got almost 14 off an auto in coco indoor , i only want half that in organic lol big ask but "never say die" ill try outside for a laugh
first pic is the doubled up coco pot , 2 x 3 gallon attached to each other with the ass cut out of the top one , i give this a total soak yesterday with weak feeding , the bottom pot is soaking wet so ill let this go for a week without another watering , maybe the top part a little mid week

some info for blitzed crab shell , the crab shell dust

Crab shell is not a fungicide or nematocide. It's a great fertilizer with calcium and some extra benefits not found in other fertilizer products.

Crab shell is high in chitin, which promotes the growth of chitin eating bacteria. The exoskeletons of fungus and harmful varieties of nematodes eggs are high in chitin. When added to the soil, crab shell helps to create a hostile environment for the fungus and root destroying nematodes by feeding the biological life that eats chitin and chitin based organisms.

The chitin in the crabshell stimulates soil organisms to secrete enzymes called chitinases. These enzymes degrade chitin, which is a component of flea egg shells. The presence of chitin in the fertilizer makes it a natural biopesticide that is non-toxic to birds, animals, fish, and plants.

Fertilizing your garden with the use of crab meal can be done on its own or combined with the use of other fertilizers. When combined, the manufacturer usually has their own directions for use. The same it true of crab meal fertilizer by itself. These instructions are unique to the composition of the fertilizer and for the desired application.

For specific vegetable and applications the use for the crab meal will be different. For instance, vegetables should have 5 lbs for each 50 foot row. Other uses include:

mix with compost or till around ground
When sowing the plant you should till the fertilizer into the soil before planting. If the plant is already in the soil, then tilling around the plant or simply spreading it around the base will be sufficient for a successful growing season. This is not a water soluble fertilizer. It must be applied by itself.

Mulching your garden bed has some great benefits. Mulch will hold moisture and keep weeds from starting around the plant. However, it is also useful for helping the crab meal better keep the plant fertilized. Spread the crab meal into the mulch and the time release qualities of it will continually feed the plant. You can also add some crab meal to your compost bin for an added boost in nutrition.

Crab meal makes for a tremendously beneficial organic fertilizer. Its time release quality will not over fertilize your plant, but will give it the nitrogen and protein it needs for beautiful, vibrant, and healthy produce. Use it on your trees, vegetables, or flowers for great results

crab meal may not be the first thing you think of when looking for a fertilizer or soil amendments for your garden, but you may start to think a little deeper into the topic! Its benefits are huge! Besides the fact that crab meal is eco friendly, it's organic and loaded with nitrogen, phosphorous, calcium and magnesium. It is slow release which is healthier for plants and it also helps with nematode and fungus problems in the soil. Because it is also high in chitin it encourages soil microorganisms to discharge enzymes called chitinases, which break down the chitin that are a part of the parasitic nematode egg shell. Crab meal can be considered a bio-pesticide (preventing, destroying or repelling) for this reason. It can be worked into the soil or add it in the planting hole when transplanting. It's great for planting with tomato crops not only for the fertilizer benefits, but the calcium is great for helping prevent blossom end rot. Use 2 Tbsp per transplant hole and mix the existing soil or add 5- 10 lbs per 100 square feet. Crab meal is also a great activator to add to your compost. It really gets the microorganisms on the move and helps with the breakdown process for faster and more robust compost!

where have you been , taken off school , i hope you have studied the PERCHED WATER TABLE content or your getting a C lol:laugh:

hope your well mate
Busy, busy, busy. Hopefully get back to spending more time on here soon. Just about keeping up with my own journal. I miss everyone. Should all be worth it in the long run though.

As I used to tell my teachers at school, don't worry I'll pass the exam

no worries mate , with you gone the rest of us has a chance of winning something lol :rofl::laugh:

NO i know mate trying to stay busy myself outdoors more . I love this time of year getting all my other plants in , veg fruit ans so forth , going 100 percent organic and thinking of trying for a grant to supply fresh organic gm free foods to the top end restaurants , like mc donalds and creggs pmsl,, thinking of working doing something i love rather than something i hated @VetSmoke85
